COMBINATION OF [1] THE SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY AND [2] RARE FRUIT OR VEGETABLE - Cola acuminata

[1] SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY [VOL. 906A]

For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten. Ecclesiastes 9:5, [authorized King James Bible; AV]

And as Romans 5:12 says, [AV], “Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:” clearly showing all will die due to inherited sin. And as Psalm 115:16 – 19, shows, [AV] “The heaven, even the heavens, are the LORD’S: but the earth hath he given to the children of men. 17 The dead praise not the LORD, neither any that go down into silence. 18 But we will bless the LORD from this time forth and for evermore. Praise the LORD.” But as John 5:29, [AV] “And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.” Clearly showing there will be a judgment day and that the ones who have done good will be resurrected to life.

[2] Here is a Commentary on Bountiful Trees and Vegetables God (YHWH) has provided for mankind, specifically the Cola acuminata - Cola Nut, An important crop in some regions of the world, the cola nut is a tropical tree, native to West Africa, and was once extensively used as the primary flavor for cola drinks. Tropical, not frost or freeze hardy.

The kola nut is the fruit of the kola tree, a genus (Cola) of trees that are native to the tropical rainforests of Africa. The caffeine-containing fruit of the tree is used as a flavoring ingredient in beverages, and is the origin of the term "cola".
The kola nut is a caffeine-containing nut of evergreen trees of the genus Cola, primarily of the species Cola acuminata and Cola nitida.[1] Cola acuminata, an evergreen tree about 20 metres in height, has long, ovoid leaves pointed at both the ends with a leathery texture. The trees have yellow flowers with purple spots, and star-shaped fruit. Inside the fruit, about a dozen round or square seeds develop in a white seed-shell. The nut’s aroma is sweet and rose-like. The first taste is bitter, but it sweetens upon chewing. The nut can be boiled to extract the caffeine. This tree reaches 25 meters in height and is propagated through seeds. C. nitida and C. acuminata can easily be interchanged with other Cola species.[citation needed]
Kola nuts contain about 2- 4% caffeine, as well as kolanin and theobromine. All three chemicals function as stimulants.[2]
Uses
The kola nut has a bitter flavor and contains caffeine. It is chewed in many West African countries, in both private and social settings. It is often used ceremonially, presented to chiefs or guests.[3]
In folk medicine, kola nuts are considered useful for aiding digestion when ground and mixed with honey, and are used for coughs.[4]
Kola nuts are perhaps best known to Western culture as a flavoring ingredient and one of the sources of caffeine in cola and other similarly flavored beverages, although the use of kola (or kola flavoring) in commercial cola drinks has become uncommon.[5]
History
Human use of the kola nut, like the coffee berry and tea leaf, appears to have ancient origins. It is chewed in many West African cultures, in both private and social settings, to restore vitality.
Kola nuts are an important part of the traditional spiritual practice of culture and religion in West Africa, particularly Niger, Nigeria, Sierra Leone and Liberia.[6] The 1970s hit "Goro City", by Manu Dibango, highlights the significance of kola nuts (called "goro" in the Hausa language)[7] to the capital of Niger, Niamey. Kola nuts are used as a religious object and sacred offering during prayers, ancestor veneration, and significant life events, such as naming ceremonies, weddings, and funerals. They are also used in a traditional divination system called Obi divination. For this use, only kola nuts divided into four lobes are suitable. They are cast upon a special wooden board and the resulting patterns are read by a trained diviner.[8] This ancient practice is currently enjoying increased growth within the United States and Caribbean.[citation needed]
They were used as a form of currency in such West African groups as the Malinke and Bambara of Mali and Senegal. They are still used as such today in certain situations such as in negotiation over bride prices or as a form of a respect or host gift to the elders of a village should one move to a village or enter a business arrangement with the village.
In the 1800s, a pharmacist in Georgia, John Pemberton, took extracts of kola and coca and mixed them with sugar, other ingredients, and carbonated water to invent the first cola soft drink. His accountant tasted it and called it "Coca-Cola". Cocaine (but not the other extracts from the Peruvian coca leaf) was prohibited from soft drinks in the U.S. after 1904, and Coca-Cola no longer uses either kola or coca in its recipe.[9]
Cultivation
Originally a tree of tropical rainforest, it needs a hot humid climate, but can withstand a dry season on sites with a high ground water level. It may be cultivated in drier areas where ground water is available. C. nitida is a shade bearer, but develops a better spreading crown which yields more fruits in open places. Though it is a lowland forest tree, it has been found at altitudes over 300 m on deep, rich soils under heavy and evenly distributed rainfall.
Regular weeding is necessary, which can be performed manually or through the use of herbicides. Some irrigation can be provided to the plants, but it is important to remove the water through an effective drainage system, as excess water may prove to be detrimental for the growth of the plant. When not grown in adequate shade, the kola nut plant responds well to fertilizers. Usually, the plants need to be provided with windbreaks to protect them from strong gales.
Kola nuts can be harvested mechanically or by hand, by plucking them at the tree branch. When kept in a cool, dry place, kola nuts can be stored for a long time.[10][citation needed]
Pests and diseases
The nuts are subject to attack by the kola weevil Balanogastris cola. The larvae of the moth Characoma strictigrapta that also attacks cacao bore into the nuts. Traders sometimes apply an extract of the bark of Rauvolfia vomitoria or the pulverised fruits of Xylopia and Capsicum to counteract the attack on nursery plants. The cacao pests Sahlbergella spp. have been found also on C. nitida as an alternative host plant. While seeds are liable to worm attack, the wood is subject to borer attack. ?[SOURCE - RETRIVED FROM https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kola_nut ON 5/24/2018]

Scripture of the Day Empty Re: Scripture of the Day

COMBINATION OF [1] THE SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY AND [2] ITEMS TO MAKE YOU THINK

[1] SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY [VOL. 907A]

If thou meet thine enemy’s ox or his ass going astray, thou shalt surely bring it back to him again. 5 If thou see the ass of him that hateth thee lying under his burden, and wouldest forbear to help him, thou shalt surely help with him. Exodus 25:4 – 5, [authorized King James Bible; AV]

This scripture shows a very important point for all Almighty God (YHWH) fearing individuals that they should NOT hold grudges. This is further emphasized at Leviticus 19:17 – 18, [AV] “Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart: thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbour, and not suffer sin upon him. 18 Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the LORD.” Yes, we should seek peace as shown at 1 Peter 3:10 – 11, [AV] “For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile: 11 Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it”

[2] ITEMS TO MAKE YOU THINK

What was the 'intent' of the Biblical writers? Was it to prove that this person called Jesus was a man, or a God/man? Why did it take centuries to finalize the concept of who Jesus was? What was lacking in the Biblical text requiring "Church Fathers" to seek outside help in explaining the person of the Savior? Why was it that the common, ordinary "Joe" of that time period understood Jesus to be a man as portrayed by the Bible writers, and not a God/man? What did "Joe" not have that the learned clergy had? Why was there so much reliance on Greek philosophy? Was Greek philosophy superior to the inspired word? Would there have been a three-in-one "economy" concept without Plato? If the original Bible writers were so inspired by the Great Jehovah himself, why did they not use philosophical language and concepts in the written word? Why do they not quote the Greek classical writers? When the Bible writers spoke of Jesus as a "man", why did they not stop and explain that they really meant a God/man? Were the Jews not open to such a concept? Would they have accepted such a radical anti-Jewish thought? How would they have reacted if one of the Gosple writers had said, "By the way, this man standing beside me is God himself. I know he looks like a man but he is really Jehovah God himself"?

Trying to describe supernatural events with the limits of observation and language is one of the great challenges for writers of the Bible and in science and history as well. Prof. Hawkins use of 'Singularity' in his wave theory is a case in point, it works but not completely. Moses described the burning bush but not the manipulation of the physics involved, and so it goes. And then there is Jesus. Even with 2000 years of contemplation he still exceeds our abilities to fully grasp what happened. It's easy to see how early followers conjoined him with Jehovah as a way to simplify and explain in their minds all the events that happened to him. You could also take the tack that Hislop does in the Two Babylons that the conjoining was done intentionally to obscure the truth. From reading some of the early church fathers writings you can see both schools at work. And then there's the whole use words that in English we would normally reserve for God Almighty being given to humans like Moses who was told to be the God of Pharaoh, and angels and priests and of course Jesus. A favorite passage of mine is the 1st chapter of Hebrews. It explains so much and yet leaves so much to ponder. Like Galileo's statement "the Bible teaches us how to go to heaven not how heaven goes."

Second, there are in the KJV only superficial instances that seem to be for your view point; whereas, there are substantial evidence for the three being distinctly different as follows:

• Almighty God (YHWH) is the superior over everything and is without equal. “ Thou shalt have no other gods before me.” (Exodus 20:3 AV), and he has always existed, “ Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God.” (Psalms 90:2 AV). Everything is subordinate to him. He gave his son an assignment and the power to carry it out, “23 But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ’s at his coming. 24 Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power. 25 For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.
26 The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death. 27 For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him. 28 And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.” (1 Corinthians 15:20-28 AV).

• Jesus (Jeshua or YHWH saves), Almighty God’s only begotten son, the first born (made) of all creation “ And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;” (Revelation 3:14 AV), “ Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:” (Colossians 1:15 AV), etc. He was clearly called:
2 Corinthians 1:19 For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us, even by me and Silvanus and Timotheus, was not yea and nay, but in him was yea.
Galatians 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
Ephesians 4:13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
Hebrews 4:14 Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.
Hebrews 6:6 If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.

• The Holy Spirit, God’s (YHWH’s) active force. For extensive details on this force in motion of Almighty God, see Discourse on the Holy Spirit.

To brake words down as you call it, although it is not that, I am using Strongs Greek/Hebrew-Chaldean dictionary with Strong # available at any seminary or theology school, at every Bible translation committee, in the possession of almost all Bible scholars, and also in my book collection. Even the Catholic translators like Rev. Msgr. Myles M. Bourke, Rev. Frederick W. Danker, Rev. Alexander A. Di Lella, O.F.M., use it.

COMBINATION OF [1] THE SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY AND [2] TRUE CHRISTIANITY IS ALL ABOUT LOVE

[1] SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY [VOL. 908A]

For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come. 9 This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptation. 1 Timothy 4:8 – 9, [authorized King James Bible; AV]

Yes bodily exercise is good, but exercising godliness brings rewards from our Creator, Almighty God (YHWH). This is clearly shown by 1 Timothy 6:12, [AV] “Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.”

[2] TRUE CHRISTIANITY IS ALL ABOUT LOVE

True Christianity is all about love, 1 st. love for the Creator, Jehovah God, and second love for one's fellow man. You can not love God whom you can not see if you do not at first love your fellow man whom you can see. When Jesus Christ was asked what is the greatest commandment, he answered, “Master, which is the great commandment in the law? 37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.” (Matthew 22:36-40 AV). The Holy Bible plainly shows we should not judge our neighbors, but love them. This does not mean loving their sin. Matthew 7:1-2, states, "Stop judging that you may not be judged; for with what judgment you are judging, you will be judged," and Romans 14:4, 10-13, "Who are you to judge the house servant of another? To his own master he stands or falls. Indeed, he will be made to stand, for God can make him stand. But why do you judge your brother? For we shall all stand before the judgment seat of God... Therefore let us not be judging one another any longer," this plainly shows no true Christian should be executing judgment on anyone with respect sin. In fact this would be a usurping of God's exclusive right, i.e., blaspheme, Matthew 25:31-32 states, "When the Son of man arrives in his glory, and all the angels with him, then he will sit down on his glorious throne. And all the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate people one from another, just as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats." Second, we should be loving our neighbors and attempting to get them to turn away from sin, not judging, hurting, or killing them in violation of God's law. Luke 10:27 states, "....You shall love the Lord, your God, with all your heart, with all your being, with all your strength, and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself." Matthew 5:21-22 clearly states this devine principle, "....'You must not murder; but whoever commits a murder will be accountable to the court of justice.' However, I say to you that everyone who continues wrathful with his brother (neighbor) will be accountable to the court of justice; but whoever addresses his brother with an unspeakable word of contempt will be accountable to the Supreme Court (God's court, not the Supreme Court of the US); whereas whoever says, 'You despicable fool! will be liable to the fiery Gehenna. (often mistranslated as hell)." Third, We should be helping our neighbor not harming him/her in one way or another. Now a question, why do many individuals seek to run others down or harm them when they are not endangering them? Please do a little Biblical research and see if you can uncover the root cause. If you would like, I could assist you in finding a qualified individual to study the Bible with you one-on-one at your home or do so my self by email, you can contact me at iris89@uymail.com or iris89@cheerful.com.

Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, John 5:28, [authorized King James Bible; AV]

Yes, at this time Almighty God (YHWH) will give us marvelous gifts. These gifts will motivate us to do the following:

1 – To imitate Jesus (Yeshua) Christ as closely as we can.

2 – To love our fellow believers,

3 – To be forgiving of others from the heart.

[2] UNITARIANS AND THE TRINITY

Here is an interesting tid-bit on history and the Unitarians that should interest all:
Here is an interesting excerpt from the book An American Bible-A History of the Good Book in the United States 1770-1880 by Paul C. Gutjahr: Kneeland would be the first of six translators with Unitarian leanings who produced nearly a third of all new bible translations published in the United States before 1880.

More than any other single religious tradition, Unitarianism was marked by a deep interest in new English translations of the Scriptures throughout the nineteenth century. Driving this interest in new English translations was the Unitarian desire to restore the Scriptures to their "primitive integrity"-their most pure, original, and accurate form." Unitarians believed that creeds had distorted the true meaning of the Bible. Centuries of Christianity had led Protestants to read the Bible in the theologically disfiguring context of creeds. Unitarians argued that these creeds (and teaching rooted in them) had greatly distorted both the message and the English translation of the Bible. For Unitarians, the most blatant example of Christian creedal corruption came in the doctrine of the Trinity.

Encapsulating the central problem with this doctrine, one Unitarian wrote "the word TRINITY is not to be found in the New Testament, and that it was invented by Tertullian, is a matter of little consequence; but that the doctrine itself should be nowhere stated in the New Testament, we conceive to be a matter of very great consequence." "Both the word and the doctrine were inventions of minds at least three centuries distant from the time of Christ. The weight of tradition and church history meant nothing to Unitarians in the face of biblical evidence that showed that the Christian belief in the Trinity was nothing more than a "modern doctrine" that had no precedent in ancient Christianity."

One of the ways Unitarians chose to discredit Trinitarian doctrine involved attacking the accuracy of the biblical texts upon which the doctrine was based. Unitarians set out to prove not only that was there "no such word as Trinity in the Bible, from beginning to end," but that all verses even hinting at such a doctrine could not be found in the most ancient manuscripts of Scripture. Unitarians argued the authenticity of verses such as I John 5:8, which reads: "For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost; and these three are one." Unitarians claimed such verses were "spurious" texts found in "no part of the original Epistle of John." They argued that all verses showing an affinity to the doctrine of the Trinity were later additions to the most ancient biblical manuscripts. Ancient texts gave no hint of the doctrine of the Trinity. The Unitarians could forcefully mount this kind of attack because of the unusually high degree of education they could bring to bear on the argument. A number of the early Unitarian bible translators not only came from Harvard Divinity School, but also held teaching positions there. Such Unitarian luminaries as Andrews Norton, John Gorham Palfrey, and George Noyes all produced English translations of at least portions of the Bible. When they questioned the accuracy of the scriptural text, they backed up their claims with arguments stemming from their specialized theological and linguistic training.

This high level of education, coupled with the conviction that the Scriptures had been disfigured by the very scribes who had been responsible for the preservation and transmission of the Scriptures, provided the foundation for a massive Unitarian effort to purge the Bible's text of all its impurities. Preceding the more scholarly translation work of Palfrey, Noyes, and Norton, Abner Kneeland stepped forward as the first American translator with Unitarian sympathies to introduce a "purer" biblical text to the United States. American editions of new Scripture translations by British Unitarians such as Thomas Belsham and Gilbert Wakefield had come to the United States as early as 18og, but these editions did nothing to deter Kneeland, who envisioned a better way to communicate the pure and accurate nature of his translation." pp. 95, 96 An American Bible-A History of the Good Book in the United States 1770-1880 by Paul C. Scripture of the Day Empty Re: Scripture of the Day

COMBINATION OF [1] THE SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY AND [2] USEFUL ON THE ARCHANGEL, FOOD FOR THOUGHT – PART 1

[1] SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY [VOL. 910A]

For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead: 15 And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again. 2 Corinthians 5:14 – 15, [authorized King James Bible; AV]

Yes, love for Almighty God (YHWH) will motivate us to imitate Jesus’, and to try to imitate his ways as closely as possible. As 1 Peter 2:21, [AV] says, “For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:” Also, 1 John 2:6, [AV] says, “He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.”

[2] USEFUL ON THE ARCHANGEL, FOOD FOR THOUGHT -0 PART 1 [PART 2 IS VOL 911A]

The following is not my original research but that of others, put together. There is much more that could be presented but this might be a start on the subject here. I've read other postings that explore this topic from additional points of thought. Many of us view Jesus Christ as the same person as Michael the Archangel. Conversely many do not. I know that on more than one occasion I've been asked to produce one scripture that places Jesus Christ in the class of being an Angel. I once used Galatians 4: 14: " And what was a trial to YOU in my flesh, YOU did not treat with contempt or spit at in disgust; but YOU received me like an angel of God, like Christ Jesus". (NWT, see also NASV also RSV among others).

Now I look up the word/term "Angel" in one Reference work and I read:

" Both the Hebrew mal-'akh' and the Greek ag'ge-los literally mean "messenger." From the first book of the Bible to the last, these words occur nearly 400 times. When spirit messengers are indicated, the words are translated "angels", but if the reference definitely is to human creatures, the rendering is "messengers". (Genesis 16:7; 32:3; James 2:25; Revelation 22:8; see Messenger.) However, in the highly symbolic book of Revelation certain references to 'angels' may apply to human creatures. -Revelation 2:1, 8, 12, 18; 3: 1, 7, 14.

Angels are sometimes termed spirits; that which is spirit is invisible and powerful. Thus we read: "A spirit came out and stood before Jehovah"; "Are they not all spirits for public service?" (1 Kings 22:21; Hebrews 1:14) Having invisible spiritual bodies, they make their abode "in the heavens." (Mark 12:25; 1 Corinthians 15:44, 50) They are also termed "sons of the true God," "morning stars, " and "holy myriads" (or "holy ones").- Job 1:6; 2:1; 38:7; Deuteronomy 33:2." "Insight On The Scriptures", Volume 1, page 106.

From the above I can personally grasp the concept that Jesus is an Angel. Actually the Archangel referred to in Scripture.

Those who disagree often will quote Daniel 10:13 where Michael is referred to as "one of the foremost princes"..the view being that Michael is one of several Archangels, therefore not Jesus Christ, (and some will compare Hebrews 2: 5: "For it is not to angels that he has subjected the inhabited earth to come, about which we are speaking".

How would the members of this board view the scriptural views of those who believe Christ Jesus is also Michael (one and the same) in contrast to why some disagree with this view?

ON: THE SON OF GOD BEING MICHAEL THE ARCHANGEL

The following are taken from various sources:

The two passages in the New Testament, in which Michael is mentioned, serve to confirm the result already arrived at. That the Michael referred to in Rev. xii. 7 is no other than the Logos, has already been proved in my commentary upon that passage. Hofmann (Schriftbeweis i., p. 296) objects to this explanation, and says, 'in this case it is impossible to imagine why the Archangel should be mentioned as fighting with the dragon, and not the child that was caught up to the throne of God.' But we have already replied to this in the commentary, where we said, 'if Michael be Christ, the question arises why Michael is mentioned here instead of Christ'. The answer to this is, that the name Michael [Who is like God?, that is, 'Who dares to claim that they are like God?'] contains in itself an intimation that the work referred to here, the decisive victory over Satan, belongs to Christ, not as human, but rather as divine [compare 1 John iii. 8]. Moreover, this name forms a connecting link between the Old Testament and the New. Even in the Old Testament, Michael is represented as the great prince, who fights on behalf of the Church (Dan. xii. 1).' The conflict there alluded to was a prediction and prelude of the one mentioned hero. The further objections offered by Hofmann rest upon his very remarkable interpretation of chap. xii., which is not likely to be adopted by any who are capable of examining for themselves."-Ernst Wilhelm Hengstenberg, Christology of the Old Testament and a Commentary on the Messianic Predictions, 1836-9, Vol. IV, pp. 304-5 (in the T. & T. Clark publication; p. 269 in the Kregel publication).

Paul says, 'For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God" and the dead in Christ will rise first.' I Thes. iv. 16. From this text it appears that when the Lord shall descend with a shout, his voice will be that of the Archangel, or head Messenger; therefore the Lord must be that head Messenger. This text says the dead shall rise at the voice of the Archangel; and Christ affirms that the dead shall be raised by his voice. He says, "Verily, verily, I say unto you, the hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God, and they that hear shall live. Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, and shall come forth; they that have done good unto the resurrection of life, and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation." John v. 26, 28, 29.

I am not alone in this opinion; most of the principal writers of the Trinitarian school have advocated the same doctrine. Brown's dictionary of the Bible on the words Michael, and Angel says, that both these words do sometimes refer to Christ; and also affirms that Christ is the Archangel. Wood's Spiritual Dic- tionary teaches nearly, if not exactly, the same on this subject that Brown's does. The former was a Calvinist, the latter a Methodist. Buck in his Theological Dictionary says, under the article Angel, d) that Christ is in scripture frequently called an Angel.[1] Butterworth, Cruden, and Taylor in their concordances, assert that Michael and Angel are both names of Christ. Doc- tor Coke, a Methodist bishop, in his notes on the Bible, acknowledges that Christ is sometimes called an Angel. See his notes of that passage where the Angel of the Lord spake to the people at Bochim. Winchester has taught the same doctrine in the 152 page of the first volume of his lectures on t he prophecies. Whitefield, in his sermon on the bush that burnt and was not consumed, says that the Angel that appeared to Moses in the bush was Christ. Pool, in his Annotations, explains those passages where the Lord appeared to the Patriarchs under the character of an Angel, as referring to Jesus Christ. Bunyan makes the pilgrim ascribe his deliverance from Apollyon to Michael. He says, "Blessed Michael helped me." Pilgrim's Progress, Cincinnati edition, page 54. Guyse in his Paraphrase on the New Testament, on Rev. xii. 7, acknowledges that many good expositors think that Christ is signified by Michael; and also gives it as his opinion.

Doctor Watts in his [G]lories of Christ, page[s] 200, 201, 202, 218, 223, and 224, teaches the same doctrine. Watts, Dodridge and some others have called this Angel of the covenant, or Angel of God's presence Christ's human soul, whom they think was the first Being that God ever created. I agree with them that Christ is the first Being that God created, but I cannot see the propriety of calling the pre-existent Christ a human soul, seeing he did not descend from humans but existed before the human family was created.

Thomas Scott, in his notes on the Bible, says the Angel that appeared to Hagar when she fled from her mistress, one of the three Angels that appeared to Abraham in the plains of Mamre, the Angel that appeared to Moses in the bush, and the Angel that spoke to the Jews at Bochim, was Jesus Christ: and also asserts that Michael the Archangel is Jesus Christ. See Gen. xvi. 9, 10. Chap. xviii throughout. Exod. iii. 2-7. Judg. ii. 1-5, Dan x. 13, 21. Chap. xii. 1, Rev. xii. 7.

COMBINATION OF [1] THE SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY AND [2] USEFUL ON THE ARCHANGEL, FOOD FOR THOUGHT – PART 2

[1] SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY [VOL. 911A]

And Jephthah vowed a vow unto the LORD, and said, If thou shalt without fail deliver the children of Ammon into mine hands, 31 Then it shall be, that whatsoever cometh forth of the doors of my house to meet me, when I return in peace from the children of Ammon, shall surely be the LORD’S, and I will offer it up for a burnt offering. Judges 11:30 – 31, [authorized King James Bible; AV]

He won the battle against Amon, and at Judges 11:35 - , [AV] “So Jephthah passed over unto the children of Ammon to fight against them; and the LORD delivered them into his hands. 33 And he smote them from Aroer, even till thou come to Minnith, even twenty cities, and unto the plain of the vineyards, with a very great slaughter. Thus the children of Ammon were subdued before the children of Israel. 34 And Jephthah came to Mizpeh unto his house, and, behold, his daughter came out to meet him with timbrels and with dances: and she was his only child; beside her he had neither son nor daughter. 35 And it came to pass, when he saw her, that he rent his clothes, and said, Alas, my daughter! thou hast brought me very low, and thou art one of them that trouble me: for I have opened my mouth unto the LORD, and I cannot go back. 36 And she said unto him, My father, if thou hast opened thy mouth unto the LORD, do to me according to that which hath proceeded out of thy mouth; forasmuch as the LORD hath taken vengeance for thee of thine enemies, even of the children of Ammon.”

Two months after this, his daughter was brought to Shiloh to serve Almighty God (YHWH) for the rest of her life in keeping with her father’s vows.

[2] USEFUL ON THE ARCHANGEL, FOOD FOR THOUGHT - PART 2 [PART 1 IS VOL 910A]

I could mention many other writers who have advocated this doctrine, but these are sufficient to prove that it has long been believed among the most eminent Trinitarians. I forbear to quote the words of all these authors on the subject, because it would swell this work unnecessarily; and as those books are very common, the reader can examine them for himself.

_________________________________

1 At Isaiah 9:6 LXX, the future Christ is called "the Messenger [a!ggelo" "angel"] of great counsel".

Little did many of these great and good men think that when they were teaching that Christ is an Angel, that he is the Angel of the covenant, the Angel of God's presence, and Michael and Archangel, they were thereby undermining Trinitarianism; yet they actually were, because, if he was the Angel of God, and as Moses says, the Angel that God sent to bring the Jews out of Egypt, he cannot be God in the highest sense of the word.

As the text which says Melchisedec was the Priest of the most high God, proves that Melchisedec was not the most high God, so the passages which say Christ is the Angel of God, prove that he cannot be that God, whose Angel or Messenger he is. [Christ is called "apostle and high priest". (Hebrews 3:1) This shows he is serving someone above him!]

I have heard but two texts of scripture brought to disprove this doctrine. One is, for verily he took not on him the nature of Angels; but he took on him the Seed of Abraham. Heb. ii. 16. As the word nature in this text is wanting in the Greek, it proves nothing about the nature of Christ. In fact the word Angel simply signifies a messenger, and never denoted nature, but is always significant of office. Every messenger that ever existed in heaven, earth or hell, was an Angel. Christ is called a "Messenger that I sent?" also, Mal. iii. 1, 2. [When the Son came to earth he took on himself human nature, he no longer had spiritual nature. He "emptied himself"!-Philippians 2:7.]

The other text that I have heard urged to prove that Christ never was an Angel, is Heb. i. 5. "For unto which of the Angels said he at any time, thou are my Son, this day have I begotten the." Although this text abundantly proves that Christ is exalted above all other Messengers, it by no means proves that he never was a Messenger himself. If I should say of General Washington that he was made superior to all the officers of the Revolutionary army for to which of the officers said Congress at any time, thou shalt be commander-in-chief, and again when they brought him into the army, they said, let all the of officers obey him, and of the of officers it is said that the government gave them commissions and appointed them wages, but to Washington it said, thou hast loved thy country, and hated treachery, therefore the government, even thy government, hath exalted thee to honor and office, above they fellows; such conversation would go just about as far to prove that I thought Washington never was an officer in the army of the Revolution, as the first chapter of Hebrews goes to prove that Christ never was a Messenger of God. In fact the above text taken in its connexion [connection] goes rather to prove, then to disprove, that he is one of God's Angels, or Messengers, because the writer, after speaking of him in connexion with the Angels several times, finally asserts that he was anointed with the oil of gladness above his fellows, by which he must mean his fellow messengers, for there are no others mentioned in this connexion.

The drift of the writer in the first chapter of Hebrews, was not to show that Christ was no Messenger, but to show that he was made greater than all the Messengers of God: therefore, when the above text is brought to prove that Christ never was an Angel, that is, a Messenger of God it is pressed into a service for which it was never designed by the writer."-William Kinkade, The Bible Doctrine of God, Jesus Christ, The Holy Spirit, Atonement, Faith, and Election; New York: H. R. Piercy, 1829, pp. 152-5, a copy to be found in the library of Harvard University.

The earlier Protestant scholars usually identified Michael with the preincarnate Christ, finding support for their view, not only in the juxtaposition of the 'child' and the archangel in Rev 12, but also in the attributes ascribed to him in Dnl (for a full discussion see Hengstenberg, Offenbarung, I, 611-22, and an interesting survey in English by Dr. Douglas in Fairbairn's B[ible]. D[ictionary]. John A. Lees, The International Stand- ard Bible Encyclopedia, 1930, Vol. III, p. 2048.

The only holy angel other than Gabriel named in the Bible, and the only one called "archangel". (Jude 9) The first occurrence of the name is in the tenth chapter of Daniel, where Michael is described as "one of the foremost princes" that came to the aid of a lesser angel who was opposed by the "prince of the royal realm of Persia." Michael was called "the prince of [Daniel's] people." (Dan. 10:13, 20, 21; 12:1) ["the great prince", Daniel 12:1] This points to Michael as the angel who led the Israelites through the wilderness. (Ex. 23:20, 21, 23; 32:34; 33:2) Lending support to this conclusion is the fact that "Michael the archangel had a difference with the Devil and was disputing about Moses' body." Jude 9.

Scriptural evidence indicates that the name Michael applied to God's Son before he left heaven to become Jesus Christ and also after his return. Michael is the only one said to be the "archangel," meaning 'chief angel' of 'principal angel'. The term occurs in the Bible only in the singular. This seems to imply that there is but one whom God has designated chief or head of the angelic host. At 1 Thessalonians 4:16 the voice of the resurrected Lord Jesus Christ is described as being that of an archangel, suggesting that he is in fact, himself the archangel. This text depicts him as descending from heaven with a "commanding call." It is only logical, therefore, that the voice expressing this commanding call be described by a word that would not diminish or detract from the great authority that Christ Jesus now has as King of kings and Lord of lords. (Matt. 28:18; Rev. 17:14) If the designation "archangel" applied not to Jesus Christ, but to other an gels, then the reference to an "archangel's voice" would not be appropriate. In that case it would be describing a voice of lesser authority than that of the Son of God.

There are also other correspondences establishing that Michael is actually the Son of God. Daniel, after making the first references to Michael (Da 10:13), recorded a prophecy reaching down to "the time of the end" (Da 11:40), and then stated: "And during that time Michael will stand up, the prince who is standing in behalf of the sons of [Daniel's] people. (Da 12:1) Michael's 'standing up' was to be associated with "a time of distress such as has not been made to occur since there came to be a nation until that time." (Da 12:1) In Daniels's prophecy, 'standing up' frequently refers to the action of a king, either taking up his royal power or acting effectively in his capacity as king. (Da 11:2-4, 7, 16b, 20, 21) This supports the conclusion that Michael is Jesus Christ, since Jesus is Jehovah's appointed King, commissioned to destroy all the nations at Har-Magedon.-Re 11:15; 16:14-16.

The book of Revelation 12:7, 10, 12 mentions Michael in connection with the establishment of God's kingdom and links this event with trouble for the earth: "And war broke out in heaven: Michael and his angels battled with the dragon, and the dragon and its angels battled. And I heard a loud voice in heaven say: "Now have come to pass the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of his Christ, because the accuser of our brothers has been hurled down....On this account be glad, you heavens and you who reside in them! Woe for the earth and for the sea." Jesus Christ is later depicted as leading the heavenly armies in war against the nations of the earth. (Rev. 19:11-16) This would mean a period of distress for them, which would logically be included in the "time of distress" that is associated with Michael's standing up. (Da 12:1) Since the Son of God is to fight the nations, it is only reasonable that he was the one who with his angels earlier battled against the superhuman dragon, Satan the Devil, and his angels."-Insight On The Scriptures, Brooklyn, New York, Watchtower Bible and Tract Society of New York Inc., 1988, Vol. 2, pp. 393-4.

As a man with a tenor voice is identified as a tenor, and a man with a bass voice is identified as a bass; why would it be strange for a person with 'an archangel's voice' to be identified as the Archangel Michael? Who is said to have the archangel's voice in Scripture? None other than Jesus Christ. At 1 Thessalonians the phrase "the voice of an archangel" (literally, "the voice of archangel") the "an" in English renderings, does not suggest that there are a group with such voices and Christ is one of them; any more that saying of a great operatic tenor: "He has the voice of a Caruso." There was only one Enrico Caruso. What is being described is the type of voiced possessed by the one described as 'having a voice of a Caruso.'

ANCIENT TESTIMONIES

Clement of Alexandria, 153-193-217 C.E.:

Formerly the older people [the Israelites] had an old covenant, and the law disciplined the people with fear, and the Word was an angel; but the fresh and new people [the Christians] has also been given a new covenant, and the Word has appeared, and fear turned into love, and that mystic angel is born-Jesus.-The Instructor, Book I, chapter VII (7); ANF, Vol. II, p. 224.

Hippolytus, 170-236 C.E.:

"And lo, Michael." and Who is Michael but the angel assigned to the people? As (God) says to Moses. "I will not go with you in the way, because the people are stiff-necked; but my angel shall go with you.-Scholia On Daniel, 13; ANF, Vol. V (5), p. 190. (Compare, Exodus 14:19; 23:20, 3; 32:34; 1 Corinthians 10:4; Insight On The Scriptures, Volume 2, p. 816, paragraph 9.)

Melito, 160-170-177 C.E.: (estimated dates of composition):

He who in the law is the Law; among the priests, Chief Priest; among kings, the Ruler; among prophets, the Prophet; among the angels, Archangel; in the voice of the preacher, the Word; among spirits, the Spirit; in the Father, the Son; in God, God; King for ever and ever. (bold italics added)-On Faith; ANF, Vol. VIII (8), pp. 756-7.

MORE RECENT TESTIMONIES:

MI'CHAEL [who is like unto god?] 1. The name of a super-human being, Da. x.13, 21; xii.1; Jude 9; Re. xii.7, in regard to whom there have in general been two rival opinions, either that he is the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God, or that he is one of the so-called seven archangels. We hold the former opinion, and very much on the grounds stated by older writers, and repeated by Hengstenberg in his Commentary on Revelation and his Christology.

But we have not only this, that Michael is here [Daniel 12:1], not "one of the chief princes," nor even "the first of them;" but "the chief prince," because no other prince is worthy to be named in the same breath with him; as in fact he is that unlimited and everlasting ruler of whom the whole book of Daniel prophesies, at the coming of whose kingdom all its rivals were swept away, and no place was found for them.

A dispassionate consideration can scarcely fail to convince us that this being whom Daniel saw is the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God....There is nothing strange and unprecedented in the view that this prince of his people, this great prince, this effective helper superior to men and angels even when he stood alone, should be a person about whom three was indeed a great mystery in the Old Testament, but who had been known throughout the whole course of revelation to Daniel's people, as standing in some very close relation at once to Jehovah and to them.

To deny that the Angel of the Lord is the Son of God is to introduce confusion into the whole of the record of God's dealings with his ancient people; if, on the contrary, we affirm their identity, when the supposition that he and Michael are one and the same is the simplest and most natural imaginable, as will appear all the more if we attempt to construct a different theory.-Fairbairn's IMPERIAL STANDARD Bible Encyclopedia, Patrick Fairbairn, D.D., editor, Grand Rapids, Zondervan Publishing, 1957, Volume Four, pp. 238, 239; (originally published as The Imperial Bible Dictionary, 1891).

COMBINATION OF [1] THE SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY AND [2] THE RARE FRUIT OR VEGETABLE - Dimocarpus malesiana - Mata Kucing Longan

[1] SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY [VOL. 912A]

Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. 4 But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. James 1:3 – 4, [authorized King James Bible; AV]

This was shown by Judge Gideon who chased the Midianite army which was far larger than his own as recorded at Judges 7:16 - 25, [AV] “And he divided the three hundred men into three companies, and he put a trumpet in every man’s hand, with empty pitchers, and lamps within the pitchers. 17 And he said unto them, Look on me, and do likewise: and, behold, when I come to the outside of the camp, it shall be that, as I do, so shall ye do. 18 When I blow with a trumpet, I and all that are with me, then blow ye the trumpets also on every side of all the camp, and say, The sword of the LORD, and of Gideon. 19 So Gideon, and the hundred men that were with him, came unto the outside of the camp in the beginning of the middle watch; and they had but newly set the watch: and they blew the trumpets, and brake the pitchers that were in their hands. 20 And the three companies blew the trumpets, and brake the pitchers, and held the lamps in their left hands, and the trumpets in their right hands to blow withal: and they cried, The sword of the LORD, and of Gideon. 21 And they stood every man in his place round about the camp: and all the host ran, and cried, and fled. 22 And the three hundred blew the trumpets, and the LORD set every man’s sword against his fellow, even throughout all the host: and the host fled to Bethshittah in Zererath, and to the border of Abelmeholah, unto Tabbath. 23 And the men of Israel gathered themselves together out of Naphtali, and out of Asher, and out of all Manasseh, and pursued after the Midianites. 24 And Gideon sent messengers throughout all mount Ephraim, saying, Come down against the Midianites, and take before them the waters unto Bethbarah and Jordan. Then all the men of Ephraim gathered themselves together, and took the waters unto Bethbarah and Jordan. 25 And they took two princes of the Midianites, Oreb and Zeeb; and they slew Oreb upon the rock Oreb, and Zeeb they slew at the winepress of Zeeb, and pursued Midian, and brought the heads of Oreb and Zeeb to Gideon on the other side Jordan.” So Judge Gidion exercised patience and followed God’s instructions exactly and won a great victory.

[2] Here is a Commentary on Bountiful Trees and Vegetables God (YHWH) has provided for mankind, specifically the Dimocarpus malesiana - Mata Kucing Longan.

A very close, wild relative of the longan bearing somewhat spiky fruits having translucent, sweet flesh. The fruits look a bit like a longan combined with a lychee. Cultural requirements and growth habit is similar to the standard longan. ?[SOURCE - RETRIVED FROM https://mail.yahoo.com/d/folders/1/messages/44848 ON 5/24/2018]

GENERAL ON LONGANS:

Dimocarpus longan, commonly known as the longan (UK: /?l????n/; US: /?l?????n/, /?l?????n/), is a tropical tree that produces edible fruit. It is one of the better-known tropical members of the soapberry family (Sapindaceae), to which the lychee also belongs. Included in the soapberry family are the lychee, rambutan, guarana, korlan, pitomba, Genip and ackee. Longan is commonly associated with lychee, which is similar in structure but more aromatic in taste.[3] It is native to Southern Asia.[4]
The longan (from Cantonese lùhng-ngáahn ??, literally "dragon eye"), is so named because it resembles an eyeball when its fruit is shelled (the black seed shows through the translucent flesh like a pupil/iris). The seed is small, round and hard, and of an enamel-like, lacquered black. The fully ripened, freshly harvested fruit has a bark-like shell, thin, and firm, making the fruit easy to peel by squeezing the pulp out as if one is "cracking" a sunflower seed. When the shell has more moisture content and is more tender, the fruit becomes less convenient to shell. The tenderness of the shell varies due to either premature harvest, variety, weather conditions, or transport/storage conditions.
Tree description
Depending upon climate and soil type the tree may grow to over 100 feet (30 m)[5] in height, but it typically stands 30–40 ft (9–12 m) in height[6] and the crown is round.[7] The trunk is 2.5 ft (0.8 m) thick[6] with corky bark.[7] The branches are long and thick, typically drooping.[6]
The leaves are oblong and blunt-tipped, usually 4–8 inches (10–20 cm) long and 2 in (5 cm) wide.[6] The leaves are pinnately compounded and alternate.[7] There are 6 to 9 pairs of leaflets per leaf[7] and the upper surface is wavy and a dark, glossy-green.[6]
The Longan tree produces light-yellow inflorescences located at the end of branches.[6] The inflorescence is commonly called a panicle and are 4–18 in (10–46 cm) long, and widely branched.[7] The small flowers have 5 to 6 sepals and petals that are brownish-yellow.[7] The flower has a two-lobed pistil and 8 stamen. There are three flower types, distributed throughout the panicle;[6] staminate (functionally male), pistillate (functionally female), and hermaphroditic flowers.[7] Flowering occurs as a progression.[7]

The fruit hangs in drooping clusters that are circular and about 1 in (2.5 cm) wide. The peel is tan, thin, and leathery with tiny hairs.[7] The flesh is translucent, and the seed is large and black with a circular white spot at the base.[6][7] This gives the illusion of an eye.[6] The flesh has a musky, sweet taste, which can be compared to the flavor of lychee fruit.[6]
The Longan tree is somewhat sensitive to frost. Longan trees prefer sandy soil. While the species prefers temperatures that do not typically fall below 4.5 °C (40 °F), it can withstand brief temperature drops to about ?2 °C (28 °F).[8] Longans usually bear fruit slightly later than lychees.
Video of longan being peeled and eaten.
The wild longan population have been decimated considerably by large-scale loggings in the past, and the species used to be listed as Vulnerable on the IUCN Red List. If left alone, longan tree stumps will resprout and the listing was upgraded to Near Threatened in 1998. Recent field data are inadequate for a contemporary IUCN assessment.[1] ?[SOURCE - RETRIVED FROM https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Longan ON 5 /24/2018]

In Genesis 1:11-13, "And God said, Let the earth put forth grass, herbs yielding seed, and fruit-trees bearing fruit after their kind, wherein is the seed thereof, upon the earth: and it was so. 12 And the earth brought forth grass, herbs yielding seed after their kind, and trees bearing fruit, wherein is the seed thereof, after their kind: and God saw that it was good. 13 And there was evening and there was morning, a third day. COMBINATION OF [1] THE SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY AND [2] ANSWERS TO QUESTIONS SOME HAVE ASKED ABOUT WOMEN AS MINISTERS, IN BRIEF

[1] SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY [VOL. 913A]

from whom all the body fitly framed and knit together through that which every joint supplieth, according to the working in due measure of each several part, maketh the increase of the body unto the building up of itself in love. Ephesians 4:16, [American Standard Version: AVS]

Yes, unity of purpose is necessary for all genuine followers of Almighty God (YHWH) and His son, Jesus (yeshua) as clearly shown at Proverbs 8:22 - 31, [ASV] “Jehovah possessed me in the beginning of his way, Before his works of old. 23 I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, Before the earth was. 24 When there were no depths, I was brought forth, When there were no fountains abounding with water. 25 Before the mountains were settled, Before the hills was I brought forth; 26 While as yet he had not made the earth, nor the fields, Nor the beginning of the dust of the world. 27 When he established the heavens, I was there: When he set a circle upon the face of the deep, 28 When he made firm the skies above, When the fountains of the deep became strong, 29 When he gave to the sea its bound, That the waters should not transgress his commandment, When he marked out the foundations of the earth; 30 Then I was by him, as a master workman; And I was daily his delight, Rejoicing always before him, 31 Rejoicing in his habitable earth; And my delight was with the sons of men.” Jesus (Yeshua) as the first of creation became his Father’s master worker in creating all else clearly showing working together is cooperation and unity of purpose empowers all endeavors to come to completion.

[2] ANSWERS TO QUESTIONS SOME HAVE ASKED ABOUT WOMEN AS MINISTERS, IN BRIEF

First, 1 Timothy 2:12 refers to women exercising authority over men in a Christian congregation, i.e., being ministers, priest, bishops, or rabbis. Do a little research!

Second, The Bible clearly shows women may make known God's prophetic word.
Romans 16:1 "I recommend to you Phoebe our sister, who is a minister of the congregation that is in Cenchreae."

Acts 21:9, "This man had four daughters, virgins, that prophesied."

Acts 2:17-18, "In the lasd days, God says, 'I shall pour out some of my spirit upon every sort of flesh, and your sons and your daughters will prophesy and your young men well see visions and your old men will dream dreams; and even upon my men slaves and upon my women slaves I will pour out some of my spirit in those days, and they will prophesy.'"

Psalms 68:11, Jehovah himself gives the saying; The women telling the good news are a large army."

Psalms 148:12-13, Young men and women too, old and young alike, Let them all praise the Lord's name for his name alone is exalted, majestic above earth and heavens."

Titus 2:3, "Similarly, older women should be reverent in their behavior, not slanderers, not addicted to drink, teaching what is good."

Philippians 4:3, "Yes, I request you too, genuine yokefellow, keep assisting these women who have fought side by side with me in the good news along with Clement as well as the rest of my fellow workers, whose names are in the book of life."

Third, No true Christian stop bearing witness to the Christ as the command at 2 Timothy 4:2 plainly says, "proclaim the word (of God); be persistent whether it is convenient or inconvenient; convince, reprimand, encourage through all patience and teaching."

COMBINATION OF [1] THE SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY AND [2] ANSWERS GIVEN ON USE OF FOUL LANGUAGE ON THE INTERNET

[1] SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY [VOL. 914A]

Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. 5 And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord. 6 And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all. 1 Corinthians 12:4 – 6, [authorized King James Bible; AV]

All have different gifts and/or talents but all should work toward a common cause; to wit, the furthering of the Creator’s purpose for all to know h is will and to work toward letting all have the opportunity of learning it and following it. Yes as 1 Corinthians 12:12 statesa, [AV] “For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.” It is necessary to learn His purpose and as Matthew 24:14 says, [AV] “And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.”

[2] ANSWERS GIVEN ON USE OF FOUL LANGUAGE ON THE INTERNET

You are correct, there is no need for foul language anywhere and especially on the Internet. In fact the Apostle Luke wrote (Luke 19:22), "...Out of your own mouth, I judge you, wicked slave....," and at (Luke 6:45), "A good man brings forth good out of the good treasure of his heart, but a wicked man brings forth what is wicked out of his wicked mouth; for out of the heart's abundance his mouth speaks."

Second, you are correct, 'There have been more violence in the name of your religion than I care to shake a stick at;' however, there is something else you are overlooking. Just because MOST RELIGION is false/incorrect does not mean all is in error. Satan the Devil has caused many religions to come into being for the purpose of making it difficult to find the true religion which God the Creator approves.

Third, there is no need for character assassination, you should stick with the facts not hurl names at those who present you with facts you do not like hearing,i.e., 'don't kill the messenger.' Do a critical none bias evaluation from a neutral view point and not have the attitude, 'my minds is made up, do not confuse me with facts.'

COMBINATION OF [1] THE SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY AND [2] ANSWERS TO MISCELLANEOUS QUESTIONS

[1] SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY [VOL. 915A]

From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love. Ephesians 4:16, [authorized King James Bible; AV]

It is necessary that all the parts of Almighty God’s (YHWH’s) earthly organization work together and those NOT doing so are not really a part of it. To this end His faithful followers are directed at Matthew 28:19 – 20, [AV] “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” Yes, this is necessary as Revelation 22:17, [AV] “And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely. 18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:” Yes, all things must be done in unity and nothing added to it.

[2] ANSWERS TO MISCELLANEOUS QUESTIONS

First, problems should be talked about and action taken to ameliorate/resolve them. God sees everything that is taking place and will be the ultimate judge.

Second, unfortunately you are right, people forget about wrong doing quickly when the media no longer reports on it. However, the evil root cause remains.

Third, I personally know of a Catholic Church child molester, ex-Bishop O'Conner who formerly served in the Cathedral in Palm Beach Gardens.

Fourth, 'There have been more violence and wrong doing in the name of your religion that I care to shake a stick at, in fact two World Wars were started by so Called Christian nations who claimed to be following Jesus, the Prince of Peace;' however, there is something else you are overlooking. Just because MOST RELIGION is false/incorrect does not mean all is in error. Satan the Devil has caused many religions to come into being for the purpose of making it difficult to find the true religion which God the Creator approves.

For example, recently every time you read or hear the news it either deals with another member of the clergy of the Catholic faith molesting children or parishioners, or suicide bombers attaching Israelis and/or Israel’s response. It makes one wonder why the leaders to these two large faiths, Catholic and Muslim (Islam) do not clean their own house. They both claim to be doing the will of God, but their actions clearly show otherwise, one has been covering up as SOP for the breaking of God’s law by their clergy at all levels, and the other fails to respect God’s law with respect to the sanctity of life in that it takes no steps to get their “own house in order” and stop suicide bombings by their members. These events cast serious doubts with respect the teachings of both groups. Their past practice of the Catholic Church of moving problem priest to a new church instead of getting them to clean-up their act or get out brings into serious doubt if they, the Catholic Church (Roman), are real followers of Jesus Christ. This abomination by this church is contributing to the continuing degeneration of morals in the US is tearing the nation apart; have we learned nothing from history? The Roman Empire fell from within from degeneration of morals before it ever fell to external forces, note, at the time of its fall the official state church was , the Catholic Church (Roman). The underlying ailment is in reality sex abuse and/or perversion of all flavors instead of abstinence. This is just part of the larger question being asked and which is often asked in the wrong way, i.e., the question should not be which type of sex abuse or perversion is more destructive, fornication, adultery, homosexuality, bestiality, pedophilism, etc. or which type of illegal drug abuse, crack cocaine, heroin, one of the designer drugs, etc. is more destructive; the reality is they are all destructive and all contribute to the degeneration of morality in the nation.

With respect to the Muslim (Islam) religion, serious doubts are also cast since their members tend to believe they will become martyrs and have 72 virgins in Heaven if they become suicide bombers. Their leaders do nothing to correct this wrong thinking and lack of respect for God’s commandments; thereby, sharing in their wrongs. If so called religions who publicly profess to believe in God but do the works of his arch enemy the Devil continue in their wrong ways instead of providing moral guidance, this world is doomed. I will proceed to go into the errors of wrong sexual desires and their results, including the AIDS plague.

COMBINATION OF [1] THE SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY AND [2] ANSWERS ON THE SHEPARD HATE CASE

[1] SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY [VOL. 916A]

16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works. 2 Timothy 3:16 – 17, [authorized King James Bible; AV]

Almighty God (YHWH) gave mankind the gift of language so they could pray to Him and give Him praise. Psalmss 40:5, [AV] “Many, O LORD my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done, and thy thoughts which are to us–ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered.” Which high-lights the wonderful gifts He has given mankind.

In fact Psalmss 92:5, shows how in-depth this gifts, [AV] “O LORD, how great are thy works! and thy thoughts are very deep.” Which clearly shows His thoughts go very deep. This same thought is amplified at Psalmss 139:17, [AV] “How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them!”

[2] ANSWERS ON THE SHEPARD HATE CASE:

First, what happened to Matthew Shepard should not have occurred, and clearlly one should not let his animals, dogs, kill the neighbor. And all the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate people one from another, just as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats."

Second, we should be loving our neighbors and attempting to get them to turn away from sin, not judging, hurting, or killing them in violation of God's law. (often mistranslated as hell)."

Third, it should be obvious to all that the goons that killed Shepard were in the wrong. We should be helping our neighbor not harming him/her in one way or another. Now a question, why do many individuals seek to run others down or harm them when they are not endangering them? Please do a little Biblical research and see if you can uncover the root cause.

COMBINATION OF [1] THE SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY AND [2] THE RARE FRUIT OR VEGETABLE - Hymenaea courbaril – Jatoba

[1] SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY [VOL. 917A]

The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether. 10 More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb. 11 Moreover by them is thy servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward. Psalms 19:9 – 11, [authorized King James Bible; AV]

If we want to be forgiven for our trespasses, we must be willing to forgive others for their trespasses against us as clearly shown at Matthew 18:28 – 35, [AV] “Then the lord of that servant was moved with compassion, and loosed him, and forgave him the debt. 28 But the same servant went out, and found one of his fellowservants, which owed him an hundred pence: and he laid hands on him, and took him by the throat, saying, Pay me that thou owest. 29 And his fellowservant fell down at his feet, and besought him, saying, Have patience with me, and I will pay thee all. 30 And he would not: but went and cast him into prison, till he should pay the debt. 31 So when his fellowservants saw what was done, they were very sorry, and came and told unto their lord all that was done. 32 Then his lord, after that he had called him, said unto him, O thou wicked servant, I forgave thee all that debt, because thou desiredst me: 33 Shouldest not thou also have had compassion on thy fellowservant, even as I had pity on thee? 34 And his lord was wroth, and delivered him to the tormentors, till he should pay all that was due unto him. 35 So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you, if ye from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses.” Yes, to receive a good judgment, we must cultivate compassion.

[2] Here is a Commentary on Bountiful Trees and Vegetables God (YHWH) has provided for mankind, specifically the Hymenaea courbaril – Jatoba.

A well known tree throughout much of tropical America. Yields hard fruit pods with edible flesh and beautiful hardwood that is used in fine woodworking and furniture. The pulp has a stinky odor, but a sweet flavor that has numerous edible uses. The tree remains an important indigenous crop in some areas. Medium sized tree, unknown hardiness. ?[SOURCE - RETRIVED FROM https://mail.yahoo.com/d/folders/1/messages/44848 ON 5 24 /2018]

Family: Fabaceae
Genus: Hymenaea
Species: courbaril
Synonyms: Hymenaea animifera, H. candolleana, H. multiflora, H. resinifera, H. retusa, H. stilbocarpa, Inga megacarpa
Common Names: Jatoba, jatobá, stinking toe, algarrobo, azucar huayo, jataí, copal, Brazilian copal, courbaril, nazareno, Cayenne copal, demarara copal, gomme animee, pois confiture, guapinol, guapinole, loksi, South American locust
Part Used: Bark, resin, leaves

Jatobá is a huge canopy tree, growing to 30 m in height, and is indigenous to the Amazon rainforest and parts of tropical Central America. It produces bright green leaves in matched pairs, white, fragrant flowers that are pollinated by bats, and an oblong, brown, pod-like fruit with large seeds inside. The fruit is considered edible although hardly tasty; one of its common names, "stinking toe," is used to describe the smell and taste of the fruit! In the Peruvian Amazon the tree is called azucar huayo and, in Brazil, jatobá. The Hymenaea genus comprises two dozen species of tall trees distributed in tropical parts of South America, Mexico, and Cuba.
Several species of Hymenaea, including jatobá, produce usable copal resins. At the base of the jatobá tree an orange, sticky, resinous gum collects, usually underground (however, the bark also produces smaller amounts of resin when wounded). The resin of Hymenaea trees converts to amber through a remarkable chemical process requiring millions of years. During this process, volatile plant chemicals leach out of the resin and other non-volatile chemicals bond together. This forms a hard polymer that is resistant to natural decay processes and the ravages of time. As portrayed in the Jurassic Park movies, amber of million-year-old Hymenaea trees have provided scientists with many clues to its prehistoric presence on earth as well as to the insects and other plants encased in it.
TRIBAL AND HERBAL MEDICINE USES
In the Amazon, jatobá's aromatic copal resin is dug up from the base of the tree and burned as incense, used in the manufacture of varnishes, used as a glaze for pottery, and is employed medicinally. Indians in the Amazon have long used the resin in magic rituals, love potions and in wedding ceremonies. Although the name Hymenaea is derived from Hymen, the Greek God of marriage, it refers to the green leaflets that always occur in matching pairs, rather than the Indian's use of it in marriage ceremonies. Jatobá's bark and leaves also have an ancient history of use with the indigenous tribes of the rainforest. The bark of the tree is macerated by the Karaja Indians in Peru and Creole people in Guyana to treat diarrhea. In Ka'apor ethnobotany, jatobá bark is taken orally to stop excessive menstrual discharge, applied to wounded or sore eyes, and used to expel intestinal worms and parasites. The bark is used in the Peruvian Amazon for cystitis, hepatitis, prostatitis, and coughs. In the Brazilian Amazon, the resin is used for coughs and bronchitis, and a bark tea is used for stomach problems as well as foot and nail fungus.
With its long history of indigenous use, it would follow that jatobá has a long history of use in herbal medicine systems throughout South America. It was first recorded in Brazilian herbal medicine in 1930. The bark was described by Dr. J. Monteiro Silva who recommended it for diarrhea, dysentery, general fatigue, intestinal gas, dyspepsia, hematuria, bladder problems, and hemoptysis (coughing blood from the lungs). The resin was recommended for all types of upper respiratory and cardiopulmonary problems. In the mid-1960s an alcohol bark extract called Vinho de Jatobá was widely sold throughout Brazil as a tonic and fortificant, for energy, and for numerous other disorders.
In traditional medicine in Panama, the fruit is used to treat mouth ulcers and the leaves and wood are used for diabetes. In the United States, jatobá is used as a natural energy tonic, for such respiratory ailments as asthma, laryngitis, and bronchitis, as a douche for yeast infections and it is taken internally as a decongestant and for systemic candida in the stomach and intestines. It is also used in the treatment of hemorrhages, bursitis, bladder infections, arthritis, prostatitis, yeast and fungal infections, cystitis, and is applied topically for skin and nail fungus. At present, none of the research has indicated that jatobá has any toxicity. One study highlighted the mild allergic effect that jatobá resin may have when used externally.
PLANT CHEMICALS
Chemical analysis of jatobá shows that it is rich in biologically active compounds including diterpenes, sesquiterpenes, flavonoids, and oligosaccharides. The phytochemical makeup of jatobá is very similar to another resin-producing rainforest tree, copaiba, which is also featured in this book. Some of these same chemicals occuring in both plants (such as copalic acid, delta-cadinene, caryophyllene and alpha-humulene) have shown to exhibit significant anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antifungal and antitumor activities in clinical studies. In other research, another of jatobá's phytochemicals, astilbin, was shown in a 1997 clinical study to provide antioxidant and liver protective properties.
Jatobá also contains terpene and phenolic chemicals which are responsible for protecting the tree from fungi in the rainforest. In fact, the jatobá tree is one of the few trees in the rainforest that sports a completely clean trunk bark, without any of the usual mold and fungus found on many other trees in this wet and humid environment. These antifungal terpenes and phenolics have been documented in several studies over the years and the antifungal activity of jatobá is attributed to these chemicals.
The main chemicals found in jatobá include: Alpha-copaene, alpha-cubebene, alpha-himachalene, alpha-humulene, alpha-muurolene, alpha-selinene, astilibin, beta-bisabolene, beta-bourbonene, beta-copaene, betacubebene, beta-gurjunene, beta-humulene, beta-selinene, beta-sitosterol, calarene, carboxylic acids, caryophyllene, catechins, clerodane diterpenes, communic acids, copacamphene, copalic acid, cubebene, cyclosativene, cyperene, delta-cadinene, gamma-muurolene, gamma-cadinene, halimadienoic acids, heptasaccharides, kovalenic acid, labdadiene acids, octasaccharides, oligosaccharides, ozic acids, polysaccharides, selinenes, and taxifolin.
BIOLOGICAL ACTIVITIES AND CLINICAL RESEARCH
In addition to its antifungal properties, jatobá also has been documented to have anti-yeast activity against a wide range of organisms including Candida. Other clinical studies have been performed on jatobá since the early 1970s which have shown that it has antimicrobial, molluscicidal (kills/controls snails & slugs), and antibacterial activities, including in vitro actions against such organisms as E. coli, Psuedomonas, Staphylococcus and Bacillus. In addition, a water extract of jatobá leaves has demonstrated significant hypoglycemic activity, producing a significant reduction in blood sugar levels (which validates another traditional use).
CURRENT PRACTICAL USES
Practitioners have long reported that jatobá bark has shown dramatic results with acute and chronic cystitis and prostatitis. Many practitioners today are discovering that these chronic conditions oftentimes can be fungal in nature rather than bacterial. The widespread use of antibiotics to treat these conditions can actually kill off friendly bacteria which live off fungi - and increase the chances of a fungal problem or encourage fungal growth - even to the point of making the condition chronic. When these types of chronic prostatitis and cystitis cases react so quickly and dramatically to jatobá supplements, is it probably from jatobá's antifungal and anti-yeast properties at work, not its antibacterial properties.
Natural health practitioners in the United States are learning of jatobá's many uses and employing it as a natural remedy for prostatitis and cystitis, as a healthful tonic for added energy (without any caffeine or harmful stimulants), and for many fungal and yeast problems such as candida, athlete's foot, yeast infections and stubborn nail fungus. It is a wonderful, helpful natural remedy from an important and ancient rainforest resource. ?[SOURCE - RETRIVED FROM http://www.rain-tree.com/jatoba.htm#.WwdE2SApBDU ON 5/24/2018]

COMBINATION OF [1] THE SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY AND [2] REPLY WITH RESPECT JUDGING

[1] SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY [VOL. 918A]

Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all. 16 Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee. 1 Timothy 4:15 – 16, [authorized King James Bible; AV]

Almighty God (YHWH) has given mankind amazing abilities that He did not give to the animals. Man is able to communicate with the spoken word, read, write and understand the spoken word. He can use these miraculous gifts to praise God, or he can use them for unworthy purposes. As Revelation 4:11 states, [AV] “Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.”

He created us with His attributes of cognitive reasoning, the ability to love, and the ability to meditate on spiritual things per Genesis 1:27, [AV] “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.”

[2] REPLY WITH RESPECT JUDGING

First, named labels, i.e., Catholic, Methodist, Jew, etc. have no relationship to who is a true Christian. I believe we all know decent people and wicked people in all named label groups. In this you are really asking me to be a judge and this I will not be for the following reasons, Matthew 7:1-2, states, "Stop judging that you may not be judged; for with what judgment you are judging, you will be judged," and Romans 14:4, 10-13, "Who are you to judge the house servant of another? To his own master he stands or falls. Indeed, he will be made to stand, for God can make him stand. But why do you judge your brother? For we shall all stand before the judgment seat of God... Therefore let us not be judging one another any longer," this plainly shows no true Christian should be executing judgment on anyone with respect sin. In fact this would be a usurping of God's exclusive right, i.e., blaspheme, Matthew 25:31-32 states, "When the Son of man arrives in his glory, and all the angels with him, then he will sit down on his glorious throne. And all the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate people one from another, just as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats."

Second, this is really a question of what we must do to be saved, i.e., be true Christians. For this we must trun to god's word and to that end I will give you some very pertinent scriptures to look up that will start you on the path to becoming a true Christian if you really desire to do so.
Matthew 10:32-33,
John 17:3,
John 3:17,
Acts 4:12,
Romans 10:9 and 10:13,
1 Corinthians 1:18,
1 Corinthians 5:5,
1 Corinthians 10:33
Ephasians 2:8,
1 Peter 4:18,
Luke 2:30,
Luke 3:6,
John 17:3,
Mark 16:16
Acts 2:38
1 Peter 3:21

Third, qualification is an individual thing and not an organizational thing just as is the opposite, i.e., wilfully sinning

COMBINATION OF [1] THE SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY AND [2] WE MUST KNOW AND PROCLAIM THE ONLY TRUE GOD

[1] SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY [VOL. 919A]

Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: 14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. Matthew 7:13 – 14, [authorized King James Bible; AV]

The Apostle Matthew continues on and warns against the false prophets who seek to mislead and corrupt us at Matthew 7:15 – 20, [AV] “Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. 16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? 17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. 19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. 20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.” The Apostle John makes it clear how you can identify the genuine true followers of Jesus (Yeshua) at John 13:35, [AV] “By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.” Also, the Apostle Luke stressed this same truth at Acts 10:35, [AV] “But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.”

[2] WE MUST KNOW AND PROCLAIM THE ONLY TRUE GOD

First, it is the obligation of all per John 17:3, "This means everlasting life, their taking in knowledge of you the only true God, and of the one whom you sent forth, Jesus Christ." This of course implies individual study plus assistance as required.

Second, all true Christians as followers of Jesus Christ MUST seek to let others know about him and his father, God the Maker of All, John 18:37, "For this I have been born and for this I have come into the world, that I should bear witness to the truth. Everyone that is on the side of the truth listens to my voice." Luke 12:8, "I say, then, to you, Everyone that confesses union with me before men, the Son of man will also confess union with him before the angels of God." Hebrews 13:15, "Through him let us always offer to God a sacrifice of prains, that is, the fruit of lips which make public declaration to his name." ! Corinthians 9:16, "If, now, I am declaring the good news, it is no reason for me to boast, for necessity is laid upon me. Really, woe is to me if I did not declare the good news!" Also, see Romans 10:9-10, Luke 8:1, John 18:37, Matthew 18:19-20, Acts 1:8, Acts 2:17-18, Psalms 148:12-13, Psalms 68:11, etc. Therefore, as all can clearly see, it is the obligation of all true Christians to teach their neighbor, and even the more so as we are instructed to love our neighbor, see Luke 10:27, Luke 10:36, Romans 13:10, Ephesians 4:25, etc.

Third, when one veers off course as we all do at sometime, he/she should immediately seek assistance to get 'back-on-path.'

COMBINATION OF [1] THE SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY AND [2] ANSWER TO WHAT CONSTITUTES THE TRUE RELIGION

[1] SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY [VOL. 920A]

But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. 24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. John 4:23 – 24, [authorized King James Bible; AV]

Yes, we must worship him in faith and this is testified to at Deuteronomy 30:11 – 14, [AV] “For this commandment which I command thee this day, it is not hidden from thee, neither is it far off. 12 It is not in heaven, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go up for us to heaven, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it? 13 Neither is it beyond the sea, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go over the sea for us, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it? 14 But the word is very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart, that thou mayest do it.” It is as stated at Isaiah 41:13, [AV] “For I the LORD thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.”

[2] ANSWER TO WHAT CONSTITUTES THE TRUE RELIGION

There are two possible answers to the question you pose, with respect what is the way of telling what is the true relegion. One would be a long, a book in length, examining all pertinent scriptures against all possible beliefs which is adequately done in some of the works by John M'Clintock and James Strong, which is way to long. The other is observing the effects on the believers of the various religions as follows:

1. Do they show neighborly love to their neighbors?

2. Do they try and help their neighbors take in knowledge according to John 17:3, "This means everlasting life, their taking in knowledge of you the only true God, and of the one whom you sent forth, Jesus Christ."

3. Do they have love among themselves or are they always fighting due to differences in races or nationalities, i.e., German Catholics and Lutherns against Dutch, French, etc. Catholics and Lutherns in two World Wars.

4. Do they support doctrines not supported in the Bible such as the Trinity which actually was first adopted by one of the twisted traditional religions at the Council of Nicea in 325 A.D. when one bishop, Athanasius won out against another, Arius, due to politics in the Roman Empire.

5. Do they support the aspirations of various nations or keep themselves apart, i.e., separated to serve God in keeping with 1 John 5:19, "We know we originate with God, but the whole world in lying in the power of the wicked one."

6. With respect to holidays, we can see most do not honour God, see Genesis 40:20-22, Matthew 14:6-10, etc. History testifies that faithful servants of God shunned such celebrations, see "The History of the Christian Religion and Church During the Three First Centuries," by Augustus Neander as translated by Henry John Rose; the "Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesistical Literature," by John M'Clintock and James Strong, Vol. I, p. 817; "The Catholic Encyclopedia," Vol. X, p. 709 (quoting Origen Adamantius of the third century)(1911 ed.); "The Two Babylons," by Reverend Hilsop; etc.

7. Do they persecute others with different beliefs? Or do they seek to show others the error of their ways in a loving, not twisted way, like, the killing of Shepard, a homosexual.

8. Do they seek prominence for themselves, i.e., their religious leaders take high sounding titles and wear distinctive garb? See Matthew 23 chapter, read and you will understand the significance.

I could go on and on but will not as I have already given a cursory overview to the answer to your question that is an excellent starter with respect searching out which religion is or is not approved by God, and which are wrong paths thrown out by Satan the Devil to snare the uninformed.

Scripture of the Day Empty Re: Scripture of the Day

COMBINATION OF [1] THE SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY AND [2] IN USA, NRA IS NOT A HATE ORGANIZATION

[1] SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY [VOL. 921A]

Therefore hearken unto me, ye men of understanding: far be it from God, that he should do wickedness; and from the Almighty, that he should commit iniquity. 11 For the work of a man shall he render unto him, and cause every man to find according to his ways. 12 Yea, surely God will not do wickedly, neither will the Almighty pervert judgment. Job 34:10 – 12, [authorized King James Bible; AV]

Job had undoubtedly received good training from his parents, and well knew the ways of his Creator, Almighty God (YHWH), so that is why he was so sure that He would not do evil to him. This reality testifies to the need for parents to train their children in His ways as testified to at Proverbs 22:6, [AV] “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.’ But this training must be in mildness as shown by Colossians 3:21, [AV] “Fathers, provoke not your children to anger, lest they be discouraged.”

[2] IN USA, NRA IS NOT A HATE ORGANIZATION

I regularly read the NRA literature and so far I havn't found any hate-filled messages in it. I believe you are reading something into it that is plain and simply NOT THERE.

You should become more loving of your neighbor and respect his/her rights to enjoy the sport of his/her choosing and/or collecting of his/her choosing as long as he/she respects your rights as a human being. We were all given certain rights by God when we became members of the human race and others should not to further their own twisted concepts seek to take them away by any means.

And all the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate people one from another, just as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats."

We should be loving our neighbors and attempting to get them to turn away from sin, not judging, hurting, seeking to take away their enjoyment, i.e., guns and target shooting, or killing them in violation of God's law. (often mistranslated as hell)."

Scripture of the Day Empty Re: Scripture of the Day

COMBINATION OF [1] THE SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY AND [2] HOW TO UNDERSTAND THE BIBLE

[1] SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY [VOL. 923A]

He trusted in the LORD God of Israel; so that after him was none like him among all the kings of Judah, nor any that were before him. 6 For he clave to the LORD, and departed not from following him, but kept his commandments, which the LORD commanded Moses. 2 Kings 18:5 – 6, [authorized King James Bible; AV]

Although King Hezekiah was the son of one of the most wicked kings of Judah, and had had one of the worst childhoods imaginable, even witnessing the burning a son as a sacrifice to a pagan god, he over came these bad influences and became one of the best kings of Judah. He per 2 Chronicles 29:1 – 11, [AV] “Hezekiah began to reign when he was five and twenty years old, and he reigned nine and twenty years in Jerusalem. And his mother’s name was Abijah, the daughter of Zechariah. 2 And he did that which was right in the sight of the LORD, according to all that David his father had done. 3 He in the first year of his reign, in the first month, opened the doors of the house of the LORD, and repaired them. 4 And he brought in the priests and the Levites, and gathered them together into the east street, 5 And said unto them, Hear me, ye Levites, sanctify now yourselves, and sanctify the house of the LORD God of your fathers, and carry forth the filthiness out of the holy place. 6 For our fathers have trespassed, and done that which was evil in the eyes of the LORD our God, and have forsaken him, and have turned away their faces from the habitation of the LORD, and turned their backs. 7 Also they have shut up the doors of the porch, and put out the lamps, and have not burned incense nor offered burnt offerings in the holy place unto the God of Israel. 8 Wherefore the wrath of the LORD was upon Judah and Jerusalem, and he hath delivered them to trouble, to astonishment, and to hissing, as ye see with your eyes. 9 For, lo, our fathers have fallen by the sword, and our sons and our daughters and our wives are in captivity for this. 10 Now it is in mine heart to make a covenant with the LORD God of Israel, that his fierce wrath may turn away from us. 11 My sons, be not now negligent: for the LORD hath chosen you to stand before him, to serve him, and that ye should minister unto him, and burn incense.” And at 2 Chronicles 29:28

– 24, [AV] “Then they went in to Hezekiah the king, and said, We have cleansed all the house of the LORD, and the altar of burnt offering, with all the vessels thereof, and the shewbread table, with all the vessels thereof. 19 Moreover all the vessels, which king Ahaz in his reign did cast away in his transgression, have we prepared and sanctified, and, behold, they are before the altar of the LORD. 20 Then Hezekiah the king rose early, and gathered the rulers of the city, and went up to the house of the LORD. 21 And they brought seven bullocks, and seven rams, and seven lambs, and seven he goats, for a sin offering for the kingdom, and for the sanctuary, and for Judah. And he commanded the priests the sons of Aaron to offer them on the altar of the LORD. 22 So they killed the bullocks, and the priests received the blood, and sprinkled it on the altar: likewise, when they had killed the rams, they sprinkled the blood upon the altar: they killed also the lambs, and they sprinkled the blood upon the altar. 23 And they brought forth the he goats for the sin offering before the king and the congregation; and they laid their hands upon them: 24 And the priests killed them, and they made reconciliation with their blood upon the altar, to make an atonement for all Israel: for the king commanded that the burnt offering and the sin offering should be made for all Israel.” Then he, 2 Chronicles 31:1, [AV] “Now when all this was finished, all Israel that were present went out to the cities of Judah, and brake the images in pieces, and cut down the groves, and threw down the high places and the altars out of all Judah and Benjamin, in Ephraim also and Manasseh, until they had utterly destroyed them all. Then all the children of Israel returned, every man to his possession, into their own cities.” Re-introduced clean worship in all of Judah.” This right action of his clearly proves a person’s past does not have to determine his future.

[2] HOW TO UNDERSTAND THE BIBLE

The first thing a person must do when attempting to interpret the Bible is to approach it with an open mind. Do not study to try and justify what you believe; study to determine what you SHOULD believe based on the word of God.

For the most part, the Bible interprets itself. Some Scriptures are more difficult to understand than others. It's important to study all of what the Bible says on a particular subject (i.e., marriage) and then interpret the difficult passages based on the clear, easy passages. If you interpret a difficult passage in such a manner as to contradict an easy-to-understand passage, then you need to reconsider your interpretation of the difficult passage.

In order to interpret the Bible correctly, you have to be willing to set aside man's doctrines and creeds and use the Bible ONLY. Much confusion is caused when men add human doctrines formulated over the years to the word of God. What usually ends up happening is that man tries to mold the Bible to fit man's teachings.

It's also important to "rightly divide the word" by understanding the difference between the Old Testament and the New Testament. The Old Testatment was for the Jews only until Christ came (Galations 3). The New Testament is the will of Christ that is binding on us today and came into affect upon His death (Hebrews 9). Many people try to justify what they do based on a law that was never intended for them to follow.

The context of the passage must be taken into consideration. Greek and Hebrew dictionaries may need to be consulted for a more accurate understanding of what the words meant in their original language.

You also need to understand how to establish Bible authority. There are three ways to establish Scriptural authority (which follow principles of logic): by direct command, by approved example, and by necessary inference.

COMBINATION OF [1] THE SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY AND [2] MARY A HIGHLY FAVORED ONE

[1] SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY [VOL. 924A]

Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned: 1 Timothy 1:5 [authorized King James Bible; AV]

Yes, Almighty God (YHWH) has created mankind with a conscience to enable him to differentiate right from wrong instead of instinct that he gave to animals. The Apostle Paul clearly showed this at Romans 2:14 – 15, when he wrote, “For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves: 15 Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;)” [AV].

[2] MARY A HIGHLY FAVORED ONE

It is interesting to note that both the name Mary and the name Miriam are actually the same name in two different languages. According to the Wikipedia, <<" According to the New Testament, Mary (Judeo-Aramaic ???? Maryam "Bitter"; Septuagint Greek ?a??aµ, Mariam, ?a??a, Maria; Assyrian: Mat Maryam), was the mother of Jesus of Nazareth and at the time of his conception was the betrothed wife of Joseph.">> [source - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia]. Matthew 1:18-20 says, "Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost. 19 Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a publick example, was minded to put her away privily. 20 But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost." (Authorized King James Bible; AV); and Luke 1:35, says, "And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God." (AV); and the Quran at Sura 3:47, says, "She said: My Lord! when shall there be a son (born) to I me, and man has not touched me? He said: Even so, Allah creates what He pleases; when He has decreed a matter, He only says to it, Be, and it is." (Bible knockoff the Quran as translated into English by M.H. Shakir and published by Tahrike Tarsile Qur'an, Inc.).

In the Bible there are two important Mary's or Miriam's mentioned. The first is Miriam (Mary) the sister of Moses (Mosche) mentioned often in the Torah, and the second is Mary (Miriam) Mother of Jesus (Yeshua), previously mentioned.

We will now deal with these two important Bible women on a timeline basis.

MIRIAM (MARY) SISTER OF MOSES (MOSCHE):

Miriam (Mary) sister of Moses (Mosche) lived around 1,500 BCE and is often mentioned in the Bible, especially in the five books of the Torah - Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy. . Miriam (Mary), was the daughter of Amram and his wife Jochebed, both of the tribe of Levi; sister of Moses and Aaron, per Numbers 26:59, "And the name of Amram's wife was Jochebed, the daughter of Levi, whom her mother bare to Levi in Egypt: and she bare unto Amram Aaron and Moses, and Miriam their sister.

Though not specifically named in the account, she was undoubtedly the one termed "his sister" who watched to see what would become of the infant Moses as he lay in an ark placed among the reeds of the river Nile per Exodus 2:3-4, "And when she could not longer hide him, she took for him an ark of bulrushes, and daubed it with slime and with pitch, and put the child therein; and she laid it in the flags by the river's brink. 4 And his sister stood afar off, to wit what would be done to him." (AV). And Exodus 2:5-10, gives an account of what happened to the babe, Moses (Mosche), "And the daughter of Pharaoh came down to wash herself at the river; and her maidens walked along by the river's side; and when she saw the ark among the flags, she sent her maid to fetch it. 6 And when she had opened it, she saw the child: and, behold, the babe wept. And she had compassion on him, and said, This is one of the Hebrews' children. 7 Then said his sister to Pharaoh's daughter, Shall I go and call to thee a nurse of the Hebrew women, that she may nurse the child for thee? 8 And Pharaoh's daughter said to her, Go. And the maid went and called the child's mother. 9 And Pharaoh's daughter said unto her, Take this child away, and nurse it for me, and I will give thee thy wages. And the woman took the child, and nursed it. 10 And the child grew, and she brought him unto Pharaoh's daughter, and he became her son. And she called his name Moses: and she said, Because I drew him out of the water." (AV).

Later in her life, in her position as prophetess, "Miriam (Mary) the prophetess" led the women of Israel in joyful tambourine playing and in dancing. Responding to the song led by Moses, Miriam sang: "Sing to Jehovah, for he has become highly exalted. The horse and its rider he has pitched into the sea." This was recorded at Exodus 15:1 and 20-21, "Then sang Moses and the children of Israel this song unto the LORD, and spake, saying, I will sing unto the LORD, for he hath triumphed gloriously: the horse and his rider hath he thrown into the sea." And, "And Miriam the prophetess, the sister of Aaron, took a timbrel in her hand; and all the women went out after her with timbrels and with dances.
21 And Miriam answered them, Sing ye to the LORD, for he hath triumphed gloriously; the horse and his rider hath he thrown into the sea." (AV).

MARY (MIRIAM) MOTHER OF JESUS (YESHUA) , THE SON OF GOD (YHWH):

Mary (Miriam), the mother of our savior Jesus (Yeshua) lived in the First Century of our Common Era approximately 1,500 years after the sister of Moses (Mosche), Miriam (Mary). She was the daughter of Heli, though the genealogy given by Luke lists Mary's husband Joseph as the "son of Heli." Says M'Clintock and Strong's Cyclopaedia (1881, Vol. III, p. 774): "In constructing their genealogical tables, it is well known that the Jews reckoned wholly by males, rejecting, where the blood of the grandfather passed to the grandson through a daughter, the name of the daughter herself, and counting that daughter's husband for the son of the maternal grandfather (Numb. ?Nu ?xxvi, 33; xxvii, 4-7)." [source - M'Clintock and Strong's Cyclopaedia, Vol. III, page 774, 1881]. It is undoubtedly for this reason the historian Luke says that Joseph was the "son of Heli." At Luke 3:23, "And Jesus himself began to be about thirty years of age, being (as was supposed) the son of Joseph, which was the son of Heli," (AV).

Mary was of the tribe of Judah and a descendant of David. Hence it could be said of her son Jesus that he "sprang from the seed of David according to the flesh." Per Romans 1:3-4, "Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh; 4 And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead:" (AV). Thus, Through his adoptive father Joseph, a descendant of David, Jesus had a legal right to David's throne, and through his mother, as the "offspring," "seed," and "root" of David, he held the natural hereditary right to "the throne of David his father."; "The book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham. 2 Abraham begat Isaac; and Isaac begat Jacob; and Jacob begat Judas and his brethren; 3 And Judas begat Phares and Zara of Thamar; and Phares begat Esrom; and Esrom begat Aram; 4 And Aram begat Aminadab; and Aminadab begat Naasson; and Naasson begat Salmon; 5 And Salmon begat Booz of Rachab; and Booz begat Obed of Ruth; and Obed begat Jesse; 6 And Jesse begat David the king; and David the king begat Solomon of her that had been the wife of Urias; 7 And Solomon begat Roboam; and Roboam begat Abia; and Abia begat Asa; 8 And Asa begat Josaphat; and Josaphat begat Joram; and Joram begat Ozias; 9 And Ozias begat Joatham; and Joatham begat Achaz; and Achaz begat Ezekias; 10 And Ezekias begat Manasses; and Manasses begat Amon; and Amon begat Josias; 11 And Josias begat Jechonias and his brethren, about the time they were carried away to Babylon: 12 And after they were brought to Babylon, Jechonias begat Salathiel; and Salathiel begat Zorobabel; 13 And Zorobabel begat Abiud; and Abiud begat Eliakim; and Eliakim begat Azor; 14 And Azor begat Sadoc; and Sadoc begat Achim; and Achim begat Eliud; 15 And Eliud begat Eleazar; and Eleazar begat Matthan; and Matthan begat Jacob; 16 And Jacob begat Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ." (AV).

Now, If tradition is correct, Heli's wife, the mother of Mary, was Anna, whose sister had a daughter named Elizabeth, the mother of John the Baptizer. This tradition would make Elizabeth the cousin of Mary. That Mary was related to Elizabeth, who was "from the daughters of Aaron" of the tribe of Levi, the Scriptures themselves state, as shown by Luke 1:5 & 36, "There was in the days of Herod, the king of Judaea, a certain priest named Zacharias, of the course of Abia: and his wife was of the daughters of Aaron, and her name was Elisabeth." And "And, behold, thy cousin Elisabeth, she hath also conceived a son in her old age: and this is the sixth month with her, who was called barren." (AV).

MARY'S (MIRIAM'S) VISIT BY THE ANGEL GABRIEL:

About the end of 3 B.C.E., the angel Gabriel was sent by God to the virgin girl Mary in the town of Nazareth. What then took place as recorded at Luke 1:26-35, "And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth, 27 To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin's name was Mary. 28 And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women. 29 And when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be. 30 And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God. 31 And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS. 32 He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: 33 And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end. 34 Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man? 35 And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God." (AV).

MARY'S (MIRIAM'S) GIVES BIRTH TO JESUS (YESHUA) THE SON OF GOD (YHWH):

Now, when it came to Joseph's notice (likely through disclosure of the matter to him by Mary) that she was pregnant, he intended to divorce her secretly rather than expose her to public shame. But did not per Matthew 1:18-25, "Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost. 19 Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a publick example, was minded to put her away privily. 20 But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost. 21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. 22 Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, 23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us. 24 Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife: 25 And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name JESUS." (AV).

As this drama continued to unfold, the decree of Caesar Augustus, compelling everyone to register in the town of his origin, proved providential in its timing, for the prophecy concerning Jesus' birthplace had to be fulfilled per Micah 5:2, "But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting." (AV). Now, Joseph took Mary, who was "heavy with child," on the strenuous journey of about 150 km (93 mi) from their home in Nazareth in the N to Bethlehem in the S. Because there was no place for them in the lodging room, the birth of the child took place under most humble conditions, with the newborn babe being laid in a manger. This occurred probably about October 1 of the year 2 B.C.E.

MANY MISCONCEPTIONS WITH RESPECT TO MARY (MARIAM) HELD BY VARIOUS RELIGIONS & CONCLUSION:

Let's briefly look at some misconceptions held with respect to Mary (Mariam) as shown by the titles given to her. "Mary's most common titles include The Blessed Virgin Mary or Our Lady (Notre Dame, Nuestra Señora, Madonna). The Orthodox Church refers frequently to Mary as Theotokos, a title recognized at the Third Ecumenical Council held at Ephesus in 431. Theotokos is often translated into English as the Mother of God or more literally as Godbearer or Birthgiver of God. The theological significance of the title is to emphasize that Mary's son, Jesus, is fully God, as well as fully human, and that Jesus' two natures (divine and human) were united in a single Person of the Trinity." [source - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia].

Of course, the Bible, the word of God (YHWH) assigns none of these titles to her so all are usurps of God's (YHWH's) right to assign titles. No wonder so many are confused as to just who Mary (Miriam) really is. We should NOT go beyond what the Bible whose author is God (YHWH) says, but certain churches, most notably the Roman Catholic and the Orthodox Church (eastern church) do.

COMBINATION OF [1] THE SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY AND [2] TRUE CHRISTIANS SHOULD FORGIVE

[1] SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY [VOL. 925A]

Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, 5 Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; 6 Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; 7 Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. 1 Corinthians 13:4 – 7, [authorized King James Bible; AV]

Yes, love for Almighty God (YHWH) motivates us to live and endure in our love for him per 1 Peter 4:10 – 12, [AV] “But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer. 8 And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins. 9 Use hospitality one to another without grudging. 10 As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.”

[2] TRUE CHRISTIANS SHOULD FORGIVE

Christians are to always have a heart ready to forgive. When Jesus taught about forgiveness in the parable of the unforgiving servant, He was asked by Peter how many times he should forgive his brother who sins against him. Jesus answered Peter's question by telling a parable. The master of the servant had compassion for his servant who begged for patience in paying his debt. The master released him and forgave him of his debt. Notice that the servant ASKED for patience.

The forgiven servant found one of his servants who owed him money. This servant begged for patience, but the forgiven servant would not forgive him of his debt. His master told him, "You wicked servant! I forgave you all that debt because you begged me. Should you not also have had compassion on your fellow servant, just as I had pity on you?"

Jesus then taught, "So My heavenly Father also will do to you if each of you, from his heart, does not forgive his brother his trespasses."

In the same manner that God forgives us when we repent and ask, so we are to forgive others. If someone does not seek our forgiveness, that does not mean we should treat them poorly or hold grudges. There are other verses that teach us how to treat everyone, including those who have sinned against us or who are persecuting us.

Stephen, when he was stoned, said, "Lord, do not charge them with this sin." Stephen asked God not to hold their sin against them. But their forgiveness would have to be conditional upon their repentance.

Likewise, when Jesus was crucified, He said, "Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do." Jesus asked God to forgive those crucifying Him. But the forgiveness was conditional upon their repentance.

And in Acts 2, some of the Jews who realized what they had done, asked Peter what they should do. He told them, "Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit" (Acts 2:38).

COMBINATION OF [1] THE SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY AND [2] JESUS HATED HYPOCRITES

[1] SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY [VOL. 926A]

But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. James 1:4, [authorized King James Bible; AV]

Yes, we must have patience and endurance as highlighted by Romans 5:3 – 5, [AV] “And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; 4 And patience, experience; and experience, hope: 5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.” And just as James 1:12, [AV] says, “Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.”

[2] JESUS HATED HYPOCRITES

"But whoe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites!" Jesus said this at least 7 times within the same conversation (Matthew 23:13, 14, 15, 23, 25, 27, 29).

He was pretty harsh with them. In Matthew 23:1 -26.” My brethren, have not the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory, with respect of persons.
2 For if there come unto your assembly a man with a gold ring, in goodly apparel, and there come in also a poor man in vile raiment;
3 And ye have respect to him that weareth the gay clothing, and say unto him, Sit thou here in a good place; and say to the poor, Stand thou there, or sit here under my footstool:
4 Are ye not then partial in yourselves, and are become judges of evil thoughts?
5 Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him?
6 But ye have despised the poor. Do not rich men oppress you, and draw you before the judgment seats?
7 Do not they blaspheme that worthy name by the which ye are called?
8 ¶ If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well:
9 But if ye have respect to persons, ye commit sin, and are convinced of the law as transgressors.
10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.
11 For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law.
12 So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty.
13 For he shall have judgment without mercy, that hath shewed no mercy; and mercy rejoiceth against judgment.
14 ¶ What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him?
15 If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food,
16 And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit?
17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.
18 Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.
19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.
20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?
21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar?
22 Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect?
23 And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God.
24 Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.
25 Likewise also was not Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she had received the messengers, and had sent them out another way?
26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.” [Aurhorized King James Bible; AV]

AT MATTHEW 3:7, “But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to his baptism, he said unto them, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come?” (av)

Jesus was "all about love" in that He was willing to sacrifice His life for our sins; however, that love did not cause Him to gloss over sin and condone immoral behavior.

COMBINATION OF [1] THE SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY AND [2] THE RARE FRUIT OR VEGETABLE - Psidium guajava - Bangkok Giant Guava

[1] SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY [VOL. 927A]

If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen? 21 And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also. 1 John 4:20 – 21, [authorized King James Bible; AV]

Yes, love is Almighty God’s (YHWH’s) principle attribute as clearly shown at 1 John 4:8 - 13, [AV] “He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. 9 In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. 10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. 11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another. 12 No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us. 13 Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit.”

[2] Here is a Commentary on Bountiful Trees and Vegetables God (YHWH) has provided for mankind, specifically the Psidium guajava - Bangkok Giant Guava. Bangkok Giant, a huge, white fleshed guava that is one of the worlds largest. Fruits can sometimes grow to the size of a softball! Excellent flavor. Great for beverages, flavorings, and eating fresh. Small tree, hardy to 29F, prefers warm climates for flowering and fruiting. Easily grown container plant for the house or greenhouse. Note that seedling grown guava's can take on differing characteristics than the parent plant. ?[SOURCE - RETRIVED FROM https://mail.yahoo.com/d/folders/1/messages/44848 ON 5/24/2018]

GUAVAS IN GENERAL:

Widely cultivated in tropical and subtropical regions around the world, guava fruits can range in size from as small as an apricot to as large as a grapefruit. Various cultivars have white, pink, or red flesh, and a few also feature red (instead of green or yellow) skin.
When cultivated from seed, guavas are notable for an extremely slow growth rate for several months, before a very rapid acceleration in growth rate takes over. From seed, common guavas may bloom and set fruit in as few as two years or as many as eight. Cuttings and grafting are more commonly used as a propagation method in commercial groves. Highly adaptable, guavas can be easily grown as container plants in temperate regions, though their ability to bloom and set fruit is somewhat less predictable. In some tropical locations, guavas can become invasive. It has become a major problem in the Galápagos Islands.[2]
The plant is used in many different shampoo products for its scent. It is also becoming a popular bonsai species and is currently quite popular in India and Eastern Asia.[3]
Climate and soil
Owing to its hardy nature, guava is grown successfully in tropical and subtropical regions up to 1,500 m (4,900 ft) above mean sea-level. Best quality guavas are obtained where low night temperatures, 10 °C (50 °F), prevail during winter. It tolerates high temperatures and drought conditions in North India during summers but it is susceptible to severe frost as it can kill the young plants. An annual rainfall of about 100 cm (39 in) is sufficient during the rainy season (July–September). The rains during harvesting period, however, deteriorate the quality of fruits.
Guava is cultivated on varied types of soils, from heavy clay to very light sandy soils. Nevertheless, very good quality guavas are produced in river-basins. It tolerates a soil pH of 4.5-8.2. Maximum concentration of its feeding roots is available up to 25 cm (9.8 in) soil depth. Thus the top soil should be quite rich to provide enough nutrients for accelerating new growth which bears fruits.
The varietal characteristics in guava are not as distinct as found in most other fruits. Its propagation through seeds reduces the distinctive characteristics of a variety in commercial cultivation. Important guava varieties are:
Lucknow 49
Also known as Sardar, its fruits are large, roundish ovate in shape, skin primrose yellow and pulp white, very sweet and tasty. The total soluble solids (TSS) and vitamin C contents are high. The trees are vigorous.
Allahabad Safeda
The most famous variety of Allahabad, it has acquired large variations due to seed propagation. The fruits are large in size, round in shape, skin smooth and yellowish white. The flesh is white, firm, soft having pleasant flavour, high TSS and vitamin C content. The seeds are numerous, bold and hard. The trees are tall with profuse branching and broad crown. It can withstand drought conditions.[4]
Chittidar
The variety is very popular in western Uttar Pradesh. The fruits are characterized by numerous red dots on the skin, high sweetness, and small and soft seeds. It is otherwise similar to Allahabad safeda fruits in size, shape and pulp. It has higher TSS content than Allahabad Safeda and Lucknow 49 but lower vitamin C content. The tree characters resemble to those of Allahabad Safeda.[4]
Harijha
Harijha is more popular in Bihar because of profuse bearing. The trees are of medium vigor due to sparse branching. The fruit is round in shape, medium large in size and greenish yellow in color. Flavor is sweet with good keeping quality.
Hafshi
It is a tasty, red- fleshed guava. It is mainly grown in Bihar. The fruit is moderately large and spherical in shape, with thin skin. Trees are of medium vigor but productive.
Apple guava
Its fruits are medium-sized and pink colored. They are sweet in taste with good keeping quality. They require low temperature for the development of good pink color. The trees are of medium vigor but their leaves are greener than others. However, it is a moderate yielder.
Fruits of sebia
(looking like apple) variety low temperature for the development of good pink color. The trees are of medium vigour but their leaves are greener than others. However, it is a moderate yielder.
Seedless
All the seedless varieties viz. Saharanpur Seedless, Nagpur seedless and others, are the same. Two types of fruits, completely seedless and partly seeded, are borne on a plant of seedless variety. The completely seedless fruits develop on the shoots rising from the stem and these are bigger in size and irregular in shape. The partly seeded fruits are born on normal shoots at the periphery and are small in size and round in shape. Seedless variety is unfit for commercial cultivation because it gives very low yield. The plants are very vigorous.
Arka Mridula
This is a seedling selection of variety Allahabad Safeda. Its medium-sized fruits are of excellent quality with high TSS. The white pulp has only few soft seeds. The plants are of medium vigor but high yielding.
Allahabadi Surkha
This is an outstanding variety of large, uniform pink fruits with deep pink flesh. The plants produce up to 120 kg (260 lb) fruits in its sixth year of fruiting. The fruit is sweet, strongly flavored with few seeds and is slightly depressed at both ends. The plants are vigorous, dome shaped and compact. ?[SOURCE - RETRIVED FROM https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Psidium_guajava ON 5/25/2018]

COMBINATION OF [1] THE SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY AND [2] THE BIBLE TELLS WHAT IS ACCEPTABLE AND UNACCEPTABLE TO GOD

[1] SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY [VOL. 928A]

There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. 1 Corinthians 10:13, [authorized King James Bible; AV]

Yes, sometimes Almighty God (YHWH) maneuvers situations to remove trials, but at other times, He gives endurance to endure such trials as testified to at Colossians 1:11, [AV] “Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;”

[2] THE BIBLE TELLS WHAT IS ACCEPTABLE AND UNACCEPTABLE TO GOD

The Bible provides instructions for us as to what is acceptable and unacceptable to God. We are told what behaviors and attitudes are considered unholy by God and what behaviors and attitudes are considered holy.

God has also set forth the proper attitude and behavior we are to have towards ALL men, including our enemies, those who persecute us, those who are not behaving as they should. He also tells us how we are to react to our own sins and weaknesses.

Homosexuality is considered shameful, a sin. How man feels about that is irrelevant. We are not in the position to tell God what we think should be OK with Him. Instead, we need to strive to do what is right according to God and pray for strength to do it. And when we stumble, we can ask for forgiveness and "keep on keeping on."

"Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all...." (Galations 6:10).

"Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them..." (Matthew 7:12).

"But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you" (Matthew 5:44).

These are only a few passages that teach how we are to treat others. That includes homosexuals. So there is no justification for being unkind, abusive, or hateful.

On the other hand, we cannot condone the behavior.

We are to "find out what is acceptable to the Lord" and to "have no fellowship with darkness, but rather expose [reprove] them" (Ephesians 5:8-11). That is not "beating" up on anyone.

Where is the love? Love is ACTION, not feeling. Our love is shown by how we treat others based on GOD'S standards, not man's. Man may consider it abusive and hateful to say that someone is behaving in an inappropriate way. Paul, after correcting the Galations, said, "Have I therefore become your enemy because I tell you the truth?" It seems like it's human nature to react to correction by becoming hostile to the messenger.

I treat all people the same. I would feed, cloth, help anyone that I was able to regardless of their skin color, behavior, religion, etc. THAT is love.

This is a message board and really doesn't reflect real life nor a person's typical activities. It's a place we come to post messages typically about one subject. So it appears like we are "all about" the one issue on which we post the most. I can see how you would think it's "beating up" on someone because the conversation is exclusively about this behavior. I'm sure if we spent the day together, we'd be talking about other things. That is real life.

Real love means doing what's best for someone. Why do you think the early Christians continued preaching and teaching the gospel even though they were persecuted for it? They LOVED their fellow human beings enough to take them an important message that will affect their eternal destination, even though they were persecuted for doing so.

COMBINATION OF [1] THE SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY AND [2] KIMMMBOP COMES TO ACCEPT THE BIBLE

[1] SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY [VOL. 929A]

Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath: James 1:19, [authorized King James Bible; AV]

The mother of Jesus (yeshua) was a great listener, and she was slow to speak. And she was surprised at his response when he was a twelve year old boy, and when she found him in the temple. He said, Luke 2:46 – 52, [AV] “And it came to pass, that after three days they found him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the doctors, both hearing them, and asking them questions. 47 And all that heard him were astonished at his understanding and answers. 48 And when they saw him, they were amazed: and his mother said unto him, Son, why hast thou thus dealt with us? behold, thy father and I have sought thee sorrowing. 49 And he said unto them, How is it that ye sought me? wist ye not that I must be about my Father’s business? 50 And they understood not the saying which he spake unto them. 51 And he went down with them, and came to Nazareth, and was subject unto them: but his mother kept all these sayings in her heart. 52 And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man.”

[2] KIMMMBOP COMES TO ACCEPT THE BIBLE [THIS IS AN ARTICLE BY HIM THAT SHOULD INTEREST MANY AS IT SHOWS HIS REASONING IN ACCEPTING THE BIBLE AS THE TRUE WORD OF ALMIGHTY GOD (yhwh)]

I have come to accept the Bible as God's word based on evidence and reasoning. Based upon my acceptance of it as God's word, I regard it as such when I read it. It either is God's word or isn't. If one does not accept it as God's word, then it does not hold any authority in our lives and reading and following it would be optional.

I am familiar with other works such as the Koran and the Book of Mormon and, based on what I've read and know, there is nothing to convince me that they are revelations from God.

An example of a difficult passage that is misinterpreted is Romans 5:12-21. Some passages that cause misunderstanding are: "For if by one man's offense, death reigned through the one..." (vs. 17); "Therefore, as through one man's offense judgment came to all men resulting in condemnation...." (vs. 18); "For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners...." (vs. 19). These are only parts of sentences. When taken by themselves, it makes it sound like all humans are guilty of Adam's (the "man" under discussion here) sin and condemned because of his sin. However, the rest of the verses clarify that this is not what the passage is saying: "For if by the one man's offense death reigned through the one, MUCH MORE THOSE WHO RECEIVE ABUNDANCE OF GRACE AND OF THE GIFT OF RIGHTEOUSNESS WILL REIGN IN LIFE THROUGH THE ONE, JESUS CHRIST" (vs. 17); "Therefore, as through one man's offense judgment came to all men, resulting ikn condemnation, EVEN SO THROUGH ONE MAN'S RIGHTEOUS ACT THE FREE GIFT CAME TO ALL MEN, RESULTING IN JUSTIFICATION OF LIFE" (vs. 18); "For if by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, SO ALSO BY ONE MAN'S OBEDIENCE MANY WILL BE MADE RIGHTEOUS "(vs. 19). In each case, the second part of the verse states that whatever happened as a result of Adam, the opposite happened because of Christ. If ALL men are condemned because of Adam's sin, then ALL men must be saved because of Christ's rightousness. But we know by other passages in the Bible, that not all men will be saved - only those who do God's will (i.e., Matthew 7:21). Additionally, an old testament passages states that "the soul who sins shall die. The son shall not bear the guilt of the father, nor the father bear the guilt of the son" (Ezekiel 18:30). We each bear the guilt of our OWN sin, not someone else's. Furthermore, even within the CONTEXT of Romans 5, verse 12 says that "death spread to all men, because ALL SINNED."

Based on the context of these verses in Romans 5 and what other passages teach, it is clear that what's being taught is that through Adam sin was introduced into the world, and through Christ, righteousness was introduced into the world. But in BOTH cases, WE are responsible for our own sin and resulting guilt AND our acceptance or rejection of Christ's righteousness.

Certain commandments given to the Jews in the Old Testament applied only to them and were replaced by a new covenant by Jesus Christ. Romans at Romans 13:8-10 states, "'Do not you people be owing anybody a single thing, except to love one another; for he that loves his fellow man (Jesus Christ) has fulfilled the law. For the law code, 'You must not commit adultery, You must not murder, You must not steal, You must not covet," and whatever other commandment there is, is summed up in the word, namely, 'You must love your neighbor as yourself,' Love does not work evil to one's neighbor; therefore love is the law's fulfilment." See also, Ephesians 6:1-3, Romans 12:19, Jeremiah 31:31-33, Romans 2:28-29, 1 Corinthians 11:25, Ephesians 2:12-13, etc.

Does everything have to be explicitly stated, many thing are implicitly stated and, Kimm's statement, " Under the old law, God allowed men to have multiple wives. This provided a quick way to populate the earth." Is one of those. Implicit reasoning on this one is easy. Genesis 1:27 clearly stated, "God proceeded to create the man in his image, in God's image he created him: male and female he created them." And Genesis 5:4 we read, "The days of Adam after his fathering Seth came to be eight hundred years. Meanwhile be became father to sons and daughters." Therefore by simple implicit reasoning or common sense, since all came from Adam then obviously this was THE ONLY WAY THE EARTH COULD BE POPULATED, and obviously Cain took one of his sisters as a wife. Also, Cain obviously had to flee to escape his siblings when he killed Able, see Genesis 4:16-17, "With that Cain went away from the face of Jehovah and took up residence in the land of Fugitiveness to the east of Eden. Afterward Cain had intercourse with his wife and she became pregnant and gave birth to Enoch." This was also the case after the Flood of Noah's day that was brought as a judgment on an ungodly populace. (see Genesis 9 and 10 Chapter) Obviously the children of Noah's three sons married each other to preserve the whole human race. In reality all humans, regardless of race, are really related, but as we all know, all too often they do not act kindly, one-to-another. In fact, this is one of the reasons God destroyed the system of things then existing in Noah's day. He will shortly execute judgment on our present ungodly system of things, please read 2 Timothy 3 chapter and 2 Peter 3 chapter and Matthew 25 chapter, Revelations 18:21 and 19:1-2 and 11, 13,15, Jeremiah 25:31, Joel 3 chapter, Jude 6, 14-15, etc.

[size=13]COMBINATION OF [1] THE SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY AND [2] THE BIBLE DOES NOT TEACH ALL SEXUAL RELATIONS ARE WRONG

[1] SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY [VOL. 930A]

But thou, Israel, art my servant, Jacob whom I have chosen, the seed of Abraham my friend. Isaiah 41:8, [authorized King James Bible; AV]

Reality, the greatest need of mankind is for love. Abraham was a man who cultivated a loving friendship with Almighty God (YHWH) as shown by James 2:23 - 24, [AV] “And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God. 24 Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.” In fact, the Bible at Romans 4:11 - 13, [AV] “And he received the sign of circumcision, a seal of the righteousness of the faith which he had yet being uncircumcised: that he might be the father of all them that believe, though they be not circumcised; that righteousness might be imputed unto them also: 12 And the father of circumcision to them who are not of the circumcision only, but who also walk in the steps of that faith of our father Abraham, which he had being yet uncircumcised. 13 For the promise, that he should be the heir of the world, was not to Abraham, or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of faith.” [A side note: Abraham was of the ninth generation descended from Shem, one of the sons of Noah, and a man of great faith.]

Francis David said it long ago, "Neither the sword of popes...nor the image of death will halt the march of truth. "Francis David, 1579, written on the wall of his prison cell." Read the book, "What Does The Bible Really Teach" and the Bible today, and go to WWW.JW.ORG!

[2] THE BIBLE DOES NOT TEACH ALL SEXUAL RELATIONS ARE WRONG

The Bible does NOT teach all sexual relations are wrong, only deviant sex, Gen. 1:28 "And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth." Fulfilling this divine command would require that they have sexual relations, would it not? Doing so would not be sinful but would be in harmony with God's purposes for the populating of the earth. Some persons have thought that the 'forbidden fruit' in Eden was perhaps a symbolic reference to a divine restriction or even a prohibition of sexual relations on the part of Adam and Eve. But this conflicts with God's command quoted above. It also conflicts with the fact that, although Adam and Eve ate the forbidden fruit in Eden, the first mention of their having sexual intercourse was after they had been expelled from there, Gen. 2:17 "But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die." And, Gen. 3:17 "And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;" And Genesis 3:24 “ So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.” And, Genesis 4:1 “And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the LORD.”

Genesis 9:1 “ And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth.” This further blessing, together with a restatement of the divine command to procreate, was given after the global Flood in Noah's day. God's viewpoint toward lawful sexual relations has not changed.

2 Cor. 7:2-52 “Receive us; we have wronged no man, we have corrupted no man, we have defrauded no man. 3 I speak not this to condemn you: for I have said before, that ye are in our hearts to die and live with you. 4 Great is my boldness of speech toward you, great is my glorying of you: I am filled with comfort, I am exceeding joyful in all our tribulation. 5 For, when we were come into Macedonia, our flesh had no rest, but we were troubled on every side; without were fightings, within were fears.” What is wrong is thus shown to be deviant sex, Leviticus 18:20-27, “Moreover thou shalt not lie carnally with thy neighbour’s wife, to defile thyself with her. 21 And thou shalt not let any of thy seed pass through the fire to Molech, neither shalt thou profane the name of thy God: I am the LORD. 22 Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination. 23 Neither shalt thou lie with any beast to defile thyself therewith: neither shall any woman stand before a beast to lie down thereto: it is confusion. 24 Defile not ye yourselves in any of these things: for in all these the nations are defiled which I cast out before you: 25 And the land is defiled: therefore I do visit the iniquity thereof upon it, and the land itself vomiteth out her inhabitants. 26 Ye shall therefore keep my statutes and my judgments, and shall not commit any of these abominations; neither any of your own nation, nor any stranger that sojourneth among you: 27 (For all these abominations have the men of the land done, which were before you, and the land is defiled;)” And, Romans 1:27, “ And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.”
