SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY – [Tuesday]

for no man ever hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as Christ also the church; Ephesians 5:29 [American Standard Version; ASV]

The Bible shows that a husband “who loves his wife loves himself.” This is because a man and his wife “So that they are no more two, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.,” as Jesus pointed out at (Matthew 19:6 [ASV]) So they must limit their sexual interests to each other. (Proverbs 5:15-21; Hebrews 13:4) They can do this if they show unselfish concern for each other’s needs. (1 Corinthians 7:3-5) Noteworthy is the reminder: “for no man ever hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it” Husbands need to love their wives as they do themselves, remembering that they are accountable to their own head, Jesus Christ.—Ephesians 5:29;1 Corinthians 11:3.

SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY – [Wednesday]

And in this mountain shall the LORD of hosts make unto all people a feast of fat things, a feast of wines on the lees, of fat things full of marrow, of wines on the lees well refined. Isaiah 25:6 [authorized King James Bible; AV]

To Jesus (Yeshua) people’s feelings are important and to his Father. Neither Father nor Son is stingy. Now imagine how Almighty God (YHWH) will use his power generously in the new world to provide a rich banquet “for all the peoples” earth wide. This compassion for others and the power that his Father, Almighty God (YHWH), had given him were first displayed at a wedding in Cana. At a marriage feast in Cana of Galilee, Jesus performed his first miracle. The number of guests may have been greater than expected But whatever the case, the wine ran out. Among the guests was Mary, Jesus’(Yeshua’s) mother. For years, she had no doubt pondered all the prophetic promises associated with her son, who she knew would be called “Son of the Most High.” (Luke 1:30-32; 2:52) Did she believe that in him there were powers not yet revealed? What is evident is that at Cana, Mary and Jesus (Yeshua) felt compassion for the newly married couple and wanted to save them embarrassment. Jesus knew that hospitality was a duty. So he miraculously turned some 100 gallons (380 L) of water into “fine wine.” Per John 2:3 – 11, “And when they wanted wine, the mother of Jesus saith unto him, They have no wine. 4 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, what have I to do with thee? mine hour is not yet come. 5 His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it. 6 And there were set there six waterpots of stone, after the manner of the purifying of the Jews, containing two or three firkins apiece. 7 Jesus saith unto them, Fill the waterpots with water. And they filled them up to the brim. 8 And he saith unto them, Draw out now, and bear unto the governor of the feast. And they bare it. 9 When the ruler of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, and knew not whence it was: (but the servants which drew the water knew;) the governor of the feast called the bridegroom, 10 And saith unto him, Every man at the beginning doth set forth good wine; and when men have well drunk, then that which is worse: but thou hast kept the good wine until now. 11 This beginning of miracles did Jesus in Cana of Galilee, and manifested forth his glory; and his disciples believed on him.” [AV].

Was Jesus obligated to perform this miracle? No. He simply cared about people and was imitating his heavenly Father by being generous. Do you see what this miracle teaches us? That Jesus would willingly perform such a marvelous deed assures us that people’s feelings are important to him and to his Father. Neither Father nor Son is stingy. Now imagine how Almighty God (YHWH) will use his power generously in the new world to provide a rich banquet “for all the peoples” earth wide.

Scripture of the Day Empty Re: Scripture of the Day

SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY – [Thursday]

Thou openest thine hand, and satisfiest the desire of every living thing. Psalms 145:16 [authorized King James Bible; AV]

Reflecting his Father, ‘Christ, the power of God,’ frequently opened his hand and satisfied the desires of his followers. His doing so was not merely an expression of power. He was guided by his heartfelt concern for others. This was clearly shown at Matthew 14,14 – 21, as follows, “And Jesus went forth, and saw a great multitude, and was moved with compassion toward them, and he healed their sick. 15 And when it was evening, his disciples came to him, saying, This is a desert place, and the time is now past; send the multitude away, that they may go into the villages, and buy themselves victuals. 16 But Jesus said unto them, They need not depart; give ye them to eat. 17 And they say unto him, We have here but five loaves, and two fishes. 18 He said, Bring them hither to me. 19 And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the grass, and took the five loaves, and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he blessed, and brake, and gave the loaves to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude. 20 And they did all eat, and were filled: and they took up of the fragments that remained twelve baskets full. 21 And they that had eaten were about five thousand men, beside women and children.” [AV] . Not only may they, the apostles who weve with them, probably also themselves were hungry, but they were concerned about the plight of the famished and weary crowd that had followed Jesus (Yeshua) on foot from the cities.

With five loaves and two fish, Jesus fed about 5,000 men, as well as women and children! Are we not touched to think of the way Jesus (Yeshua) used his miraculous power to care compassionately for entire families, including the little ones? The crowds “ate and were satisfied.” This suggests that there was an abundant supply of food. Jesus kindly provided, not a mere taste of bread, but a meal that would sustain the crowds for their long journey back home.

Scripture of the Day Empty Re: Scripture of the Day

Post  Admin Thu Aug 06, 2015 1:52 pm

SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY – [Friday]

The LORD possessed me in the beginning of his way, before his works of old. 23 I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was. 24 When there were no depths, I was brought forth; when there were no fountains abounding with water. 25 Before the mountains were settled, before the hills was I brought forth: 26 While as yet he had not made the earth, nor the fields, nor the highest part of the dust of the world. 27 When he prepared the heavens, I was there: when he set a compass upon the face of the depth: 28 When he established the clouds above: when he strengthened the fountains of the deep: 29 When he gave to the sea his decree, that the waters should not pass his commandment: when he appointed the foundations of the earth: 30 Then I was by him, as one brought up with him: and I was daily his delight, rejoicing always before him; 31 Rejoicing in the habitable part of his earth; and my delights were with the sons of men. Proverbs 8:22 – 31 [authorized King James Bible; AV]

As can be seen, Almighty God (YHWH) used his only begotten Son, Jesus (Yeshua) in his pre-human spirit form as his master worker in creating all there is; therefore, Jesus (Yeshua) fully understands earth’s ecology. He knows how to use, manage, and distribute earth’s resources fairly and properly.

When on earth, Jesus (Yeshua) showed that he is “the power of God” by exercising control over the forces of nature. Consider how Jesus dealt with a windstorm that appeared to threaten the lives of his disciples. As recorded at Mark 4:37 – 39, “And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full. 38 And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish? 39 And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.” [AV]. As one Bible scholar notes: “The Greek word [for “windstorm” at Mark 4:37] is used for a furious storm or hurricane. It never refers to a single gust storm.” This fact, is also made clear at Matthew 8:24, “And, behold, there arose a great tempest in the sea, insomuch that the ship was covered with the waves: but he was asleep. “

Hi Everyone:

Here is a Commentary on Bountiful Trees and Vegetables God (YHWH) has provided for mankind, specifically the Ilex vomitoria, Yaupon Holly

Abundance: plentiful
What: tea from leaves
How: Dry leaves, add boiling water
Where: woods
When: all year
Nutritional Value: caffeine and antioxidants
DANGERS: AVOID THE BERRIES AS THEY WILL MAKE YOU VOMIT. DO NOT MISTAKE YAUPON HOLLY FOR THE TOXIC CHINESE PRIVET (LIGUSTRUM SINENSE).

Yaupon holly leaves are an excellent source of caffeine. There are a few different ways to prepare yaupon holly leaves for brewing tea. The easiest and most effective method for freeing the caffeine is to air-dry them by cutting of a branch, hanging it indoors in a warm, dry area (not in direct sunlight) and let the leaves dry naturally. Most of the leaves will fall off the branch as they dry so lay a towel or something under it to catch the leaves. This method can take two weeks or more depending on the temperature and humidity. Slow-drying it like this allows naturally-occurring enzymes inside the plant cells to begin breaking holes through the cell wall. These holes allow the caffeine to escape into your hot water when making tea.

Forced-drying the leaves in a dehydrator or an oven set at 200F is popular. It is fast, usually taking just a day and this quick drying but will not allow as much caffeine to be released compared to slow air-drying. Leaves done this way are somewhat similar to green tea in mouth-appeal. It doesn't taste like green tea, but it has several similar "under-flavors", if that makes any sense.

The most complex, richest flavors comes from roast-drying the leaves in an oven set at 400F. This requires some practice and experimentation. Lay the leaves on a cookie-sheet. There can be some overlap but each leaf needs some exposure to the air. Put the cookie-sheet in the oven and watch the leaves as they turn brown. The darker you let the leaves get the more roasted and complex flavors you will release. Warning: if they get too dark they have a scorched flavor.

Caffeine has recently been shown to help protect the brain from Alzheimer's disease, which is pretty dang awesome!!

Dried Yaupon holly leaves were smoked as part of assorted Native American rituals. [sourc - retrieved from http://www.foragingtexas.com/2008/08/yaupon-holly.html on 7/1/2015]
In Genesis 1:11-13, "And God said, Let the earth put forth grass, herbs yielding seed, and fruit-trees bearing fruit after their kind, wherein is the seed thereof, upon the earth: and it was so. 12 And the earth brought forth grass, herbs yielding seed after their kind, and trees bearing fruit, wherein is the seed thereof, after their kind: and God saw that it was good. 13 And there was evening and there was morning, a third day. SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY – [Sunday]

The apostles gathered around Jesus and reported to him all the things they had done and taught. And he said to them: “Come, you yourselves, privately into an isolated place and rest up a little.” For there were many coming and going, and they had no leisure time even to eat a meal. So they set off in the boat for an isolated place to be by themselves. Mark 6:30 – 32 [New World Translation Revised: NWTr]

Husbands also do well to note that Jesus always showed consideration for his disciples. He took into account their limitations and physical needs. When they were tired, for example, he went to an isolated spot so they could rest up a little. Wives too deserve thoughtful consideration. The Bible describes them as “a weaker vessel” to whom husbands are commanded to assign “honor.” Why? Because both husbands and wives share equally in “You husbands, in the same way, continue dwelling with them according to knowledge. Assign them honor as to a weaker vessel, the feminine one, since they are also heirs with you of the undeserved favor of life, in order for your prayers not to be hindered.” (1 Peter 3:7 [NWTr]) Husbands should remember that it is faithfulness, not whether a person is male or female, that makes one precious to God, per Psalm 101:6 “I will look to the faithful ones of the earth, So that they may dwell with me. The one walking in blamelessness will minister to me..” [NWTr]

SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY – [Monday]

For I delight in the law of God after the inward man: but I see a different law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity under the law of sin which is in my members. Romans 7:22 – 23 [American Standard Version; ASV]

First, we have an ongoing struggle against our fleshly tendencies. The apostle Peter exhorted us, “(be) as free (peo0le), and not using your freedom for a cloak of wickedness, but as bondservants of God.” 1 Peter 2:16 [ASV].

Second, We have a battle to wage against this world under demon influence. Satan, the Devil, the ruler of the world aims his missles at us in an attempt to break our loyalty to Almighty God (YHWH) and his Son, Jesus (Yeshua) per, “Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.” Ephesians 6:11- 12. [ASV]. He seeks to enslave us by tempting us to give in to his corrupting influence. He does this by making his world seem attractive, alluring. But remember is anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him, because everything in the world – the desire of the flesh and the desire of the eyes and the showy display of one’s means of live does not originate with the Father, but originates with the world. (1 John 2:15 – 16).

SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY – [Tuesday]

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was a god. 2 This one was in the beginning with God. 3 All things came into existence through him, and apart from him not even one thing came into existence. What has come into existence. John 1:1 – 3 [New World Translation Revised: NWTr]

Almighty God (YHWH), the Creator of the universe, does things in an organized manner. His first creation was his only-begotten spirit Son, who is called “the Word” because he is God’s principal spokesman. The Word has served Jehovah for ages. He was called Almighty God’s (YHWH’s) master worker at Proverbs 8:30, “Then I was beside him as a master worker. I was the one he was especially fond of day by day; I rejoiced before him all the time;” [NWTr]. A little over 2,000 years ago, God sent the Word to the earth, where he faithfully did his Father’s will as the perfect man Jesus Christ. Per John 1:14, “So the Word became flesh and resided among us, and we had a view of his glory, a glory such as belongs to an only-begotten son from a father; and he was full of divine favor and truth.

Scripture of the Day Empty Re: Scripture of the Day

Post  Admin Tue Aug 11, 2015 12:54 pm

SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY – [Wednesday]

For just as the Father has life in himself, so he has granted also to the Son to have life in himself. 27 And he has given him authority to do judging, because he is the Son of man. 28 Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice 29 and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, and those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment. 30 I cannot do a single thing of my own initiative. Just as I hear, I judge, and my judgment is righteous because I seek, not my own will, but the will of him who sent me.Matthew 5:26 – 30 (New World Translation Revised, NWTr)

Jesus’ (Yeshua’s) use of the expression “memorial tombs” is appropriate, for Almighty God’s (YHWH’s) memory is involved. Almighty God (YHWH), the One responsible for creating the vast universe, can remember every detail of each of our dead loved ones, including natural and acquired traits as shown at, Isaiah 40:26, “Lift up your eyes to heaven and see. Who has created these things? It is the One who brings out their army by number; He calls them all by name. Because of his vast dynamic energy and his awe-inspiring power, Not one of them is missing.” (NWTr). And it is not only that he can remember, but that He and his Son, whom he has empowered, want to do so. Lazarus’ resurrection and that of others recorded in the Bible portend what will take place on a global scale in the new world.

Scripture of the Day Empty Re: Scripture of the Day

Post  Admin Wed Aug 12, 2015 11:29 am

SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY – [Thursday]

Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous: 1 Peter 3:8 [authorized King James Bible; AV]

How compassionate and loving is Jesus (Yeshua)! We see that he has a warm place in his heart for those who suffer from illnesses. As the Bible shows at Psalms 72:12 – 13 [AV], “For he shall deliver the needy when he crieth; the poor also, and him that hath no helper. 13 He shall spare the poor and needy, and shall save the souls of the needy. “

Whereas, Satan wants to convince us that we are unloved and worthless. By his miracles, Jesus (Yeshua) clearly proved that he truly cares about us and our problems. What a sympathetic King and High Priest! This was made clear at Hebrews 4:15, as follows, “For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.” [AV]. Scripture of the Day Empty Re: Scripture of the Day

Post  Admin Thu Aug 13, 2015 9:45 am

SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY – [Friday]

Insomuch that the multitude wondered, when they saw the dumb to speak, the maimed to be whole, the lame to walk, and the blind to see: and they glorified the God of Israel. Matthew 15:31 [authorized King James Bible; AV]

Yet,to perform such acts of compassion, Jesus (Yeshua) needed no organ donors for transplants. He healed the very organs or body parts that were afflicted! On the spot. Sometimes even from a distance as shown at John 4:46 – 54 [AV] “So Jesus came again into Cana of Galilee, where he made the water wine. And there was a certain nobleman, whose son was sick at Capernaum. 47 When he heard that Jesus was come out of Judaea into Galilee, he went unto him, and besought him that he would come down, and heal his son: for he was at the point of death. 48 Then said Jesus unto him, Except ye see signs and wonders, ye will not believe. 49 The nobleman saith unto him, Sir, come down ere my child die. 50 Jesus saith unto him, Go thy way; thy son liveth. And the man believed the word that Jesus had spoken unto him, and he went his way 51 And as he was now going down, his servants met him, and told him, saying, Thy son liveth. 52 Then enquired he of them the hour when he began to amend. And they said unto him, Yesterday at the seventh hour the fever left him. 53 So the father knew that it was at the same hour, in the which Jesus said unto him, Thy son liveth: and himself believed, and his whole house. 54 This is again the second miracle that Jesus did, when he was come out of Judaea into Galilee.” What do these amazing examples show? That Jesus (Yeshua), now enthroned as heavenly King, has not only the power but also the desire to bring about permanent healing, but a strong desire to do so. Learning about the way Jesus (Yeshua) treated people gives us confidence that during his 1,000 year kingdom reign, he will do so.

Scripture of the Day Empty Re: Scripture of the Day

Post  Admin Fri Aug 14, 2015 1:53 pm

SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY – [Saturday]

[NWTr].

Scripture of the Day Empty Re: Scripture of the Day

Post  Admin Sat Aug 15, 2015 8:27 am

SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY – [Sunday]

It may not be easy for us to understand the feelings of those who suffer from a chronic illness, especially if we have never experienced such. We can bear in mind that Jesus (Yeshua) empathized with the sick even though he himself was never sick. May Jesus’ (Yeshua’s) example move us to do the same, to the best of our ability..

Scripture of the Day Empty Re: Scripture of the Day

Post  Admin Mon Aug 17, 2015 1:55 pm

SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY – [Tuesday]

Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. James 4:8 [authorized King James Bible; AV]

CHASTITY is not a popular virtue. But the Bible is clear on it as shown by 1 Thessalonians 4:3 – 5, “For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication: 4 That every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honour; 5 Not in the lust of concupiscence, even as the Gentiles which know not God” [AV] : This is particularly true in our time. In many lands, homosexuality and sex outside of marriage are viewed as normal, but Almighty God (YHWH), however, does NOT share these views as highlighted by what He had the Apostle Paul write at Romans 1:19 – 28, “Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. 20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. 21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, 23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. 24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:
25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. 26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: 27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. 28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;” [AV]; and Ephesians 5:5 further conforms this fact, “For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.” [AV]; and Jude 7 says, “Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire. [AV]. These lifestyles are even promoted in advertising and entertainment. (Ps. 12:8) Immorality has become so pervasive that you may wonder, ‘Is it really possible to live a chaste life?’ Our confident reply is, Yes, with Jehovah’s help, true Christians can remain chaste,

Genuine true followers of Jesus (Yeshua) know that even deeply rooted wrong desires, including those that may have a genetic basis or that involve physical causes or environmental factors, are not insurmountable for persons who truly want to please Almighty God (YHWH). Some people are by nature highly emotional. Perhaps in the past they gave free rein to fits of anger; but knowledge of God’s will, the desire to please him, and the help of his spirit enable them to develop self-control. A person may be an alcoholic, but, with proper motivation, he can refrain from drinking and thus avoid becoming a drunkard. Likewise, a person may feel strongly attracted to others of the same sex, but by heeding the counsel of God’s Word he can remain clean from homosexual practices. AS Ephesians 4:17 – 24, .clearly states, “This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind, 18 Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart: 19 Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness. 20 But ye have not so learned Christ; 21 If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus: 22 That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; 23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; 24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.” [AV]. Almighty God (YHWH) does not allow us to go on thinking that wrong conduct really makes no difference; he kindly but firmly warns us of the consequences and provides abundant help for those who want to “strip off the old personality with its practices, and clothe [themselves] with the new personality.”—Col. 3:9, 10.

Scripture of the Day Empty Re: Scripture of the Day

Post  Admin Tue Aug 18, 2015 12:34 pm

SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY – [Wednesday]

This is the end of the matter; all hath been heard: fear God, and keep his commandments; for this is the whole duty of man. Ecclesiastes 12:13.

Yes, it is imperative to keep the commandments of Almighty God (YHWH) as this is the whole duty of man, but today many are seeking to override this duty on the basis of so called life style. However, this is no justification for doing wrong in violation of the specific commandments of Almighty God (YHWH) given at Romans 1:19-28 and many other places in the Bible.

To wit, In the beginning, Almighty God (YHWH), said at Genesis 2:23-24, “And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man. 24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.” And so it has been for many thousands of years, but now in the time of the culmination of the end times as prophesized at 2 Timothy 4:1-6, many are straying from Almighty God’s (YHWH’s) and supporting activities directly in contradiction to Almighty God’s (YHWH’s) commandments; to wit, they are now even supporting same sex marriages, living together without being married, and other wrong practices. They justify these wrongs by saying it is just a different life style, but of course they fail to mention it is a wrong life style, and that their arguments could also be used to justify pedophilism, bestiality, and other acts against the The Inspired Word of Almighty God (YHWH), the Bible.

SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY – [Thursday}

“And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man. 24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.” Genesis 2:23-24, (Authorized King James Bible; AV).

And so it has been for many thousands of years, but now in the time of the culmination of the end times as prophesized at 2 Timothy 4:1-6, “This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. 6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,” (American Standard Version; ASV). Now, in the last twelve years, men of inequity are trying to change what Almighty God (YHWH) intended and promoting the evil idea that marriage should not only be a union between male and female, but unions between individuals of the SAME sex although this is against Almighty God’s (YHWH’s) intended purpose as clearly shown by Romans 1:25-28, “Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. 28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;” (AV). In addition, some workers of inequity also claim that Almighty God (YHWH) is only the God of Christians or Jews, but in reality he is the only true God of all people and all other gods be they men, idols, or myths only exist in the minds of men.

SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY – [Friday}

have ye not known that the unrighteous the reign of God shall not inherit? be not led astray; neither whoremongers, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor sodomites, 1 Corinthians 6:9 (Youngs Literal Translation: YLT)

We should accept the Bible as our moral compass, and NOT our own reasoning’s even if prominent individuals do. But we should not act violently against those who fail to be guided by the Bible. As Leviticus 19:18 [New World Translation Revised; NWTr] says, “‘You must not take vengeance nor have a grudge against the sons of your people; and you must love your fellow as yourself. I am Jehovah.” This clearly shows that we should love the wrong doer and Jesus (Yeshua) Said at Matthew 22:37-40, [NWTr] “He said to him: “‘You must love Jehovah your God with your whole heart and with your whole soul and with your whole mind.’ 38 This is the greatest and first commandment. 39 The second, like it, is this, ‘You must love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40 On these two commandments the whole Law hangs, and the Prophets.” This clearly shows that we should hate the wrong, but NOT the wrong doer. Persecution of others on the basis of their wrong doing is totally unacceptable and not in keeping with the Inspired Word of Almighty God (YHWH), the Bible. All should seek to turn the wrong doer from his sinful ways and into righteous ways.

Scripture of the Day Empty Re: Scripture of the Day

Post  Admin Fri Aug 21, 2015 10:11 am

SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY – [Saturday]

But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. 15 Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death. 16 Do not err, my beloved brethren. James 1:13 – 15 [authorized King James Bible; AV]

In order to live a chaste Almighty God (YHWH) approved life , we must reject immoral desires, and accept the Holy Bible, Almighty God (YHWH)written word as a MORAL COMPASS. Just as a baited hook may attract a fish, so immoral thoughts and lewd desires, when not immediately dismissed, may begin to draw out and entice a genuine true follower of Jesus (Yeshua). They can appeal to our fallen flesh and lead us toward immoral acts. In time, the allure of sin may become so great that the unclean desire becomes fertile.

It is sobering to reflect on how a momentary desire can develop into a serious sin. But how encouraging it is to know that if we can prevent unclean desires from taking root, as shown at Galations 5:16, “This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.” [AV], we can avoid getting drawn into serious sin.

Scripture of the Day Empty Re: Scripture of the Day

Post  Admin Sat Aug 22, 2015 12:47 pm

SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY – [Sunday]

But the wisdom that is from above, first indeed is chaste, then peaceable, modest, easy to be persuaded, consenting to the good, full of mercy and good fruits, without judging, without dissimulation. James 3:17 (Douay Rheims Catholic Bible: DRCB)

Almighty God (YHWH)can give us answers to our prayers for help by means of what is written in his word, the Bible. This wisdom in the Bible as shown at James 3:17, is first of pure, and can enable us to remove bad thoughts from our mind by meditation on what we read in his written word as shown by Psalms 19:7 – 11, “(18-8) [actual numbering in the Catholic Bible parts slightly from other Bibles] The law of the Lord is unspotted, converting souls: the testimony of the Lord is faithful, giving wisdom to little ones. 8 (18-9) The justices of the Lord are right, rejoicing earts: the commandment of the Lord is lightsome, enlightening the eyes. 9 (18-10) The fear of the Lord is holy, enduring for ever and ever: the judgments of the Lord are true, justified in themselves. 10 (18-11) More to be desired than gold and many precious stones: and sweeter than honey and the honeycomb. 11 (18-12) For thy servant keepeth them, and in keeping them there is a great reward.” (DRCB), and Psalms 119:9 – 11, “(118-9) By what doth a young man correct his way? by observing thy words. 10 ¶ (118-10) With my whole heart have I sought after thee: let me not stray from thy commandments. 11 ¶ (118-11) Thy words have I hidden in my heart, that I may not sin against thee.” (DRCB). Additionally, the Bible contains examples and specific counsel that can help us to avoid falling victim to unclean desires.

Scripture of the Day Empty Re: Scripture of the Day

Post  Admin Sun Aug 23, 2015 1:04 pm

SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY – [Monday]

Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband. 3 Let the husband render unto the wife due benevolence: and likewise also the wife unto the husband. 4 The wife hath not power of her own body, but the husband: and likewise also the husband hath not power of his own body, but the wife. 5 Defraud ye not one the other, except it be with consent for a time, that ye may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again, that Satan tempt you not for your incontinency. 1 Corinthians 7:2 – 5 [authorized King James Bible; AV]

Let Almighty God (YHWH)written word for our guidance in this difficult time of moral breakdown, in the conclusion of the end times, be your Moral Compas. As is written at James 4:8 [AV], “Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.”

Moral cleanliness is not a popular virtue at this time. But the Bible is clear on that as shown by 1 Thessalonians 4:3 – 5 [AV], “For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication: 4 That every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honour; 5 Not in the lust of concupiscence, even as the Gentiles which know not God”; This is particularly true in our trying time. In many lands, homosexuality and sex outside of marriage are viewed as normal, but Almighty God (YHWH), however, does NOT share these views as highlighted by what He had the Apostle Paul write at Romans 1:19 – 28 [AV], “Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. 24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: 25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. [AV]. These in-moral lifestyles are even promoted in advertising and entertainment. (Ps. 12:8) Immorality has become so pervasive that you may wonder, ‘Is it really possible to live a chaste life?’ Our confident reply is, Yes, with Jehovah’s help, true Christians can remain chaste.

AS Ephesians 4:17 – 24, “This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind, 18 Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart: 19 Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.

Post  Admin Mon Aug 24, 2015 3:18 pm

SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY – [Tuesday]

Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law. 9 For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 10 Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law. Romans 13:8 – 10 [authorized King James Bible; AV]

It is most important to have love for your neighbor, and to treat him as you would want to be treated. This righteous principle is highlighted at Matthew 7:12, [AV], “Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.” However, members of false religions do JUST THE OPPOSITE. Take for example, the false religious cult of Islam, it has been very violent against others and shows them no love. This was clearly highlighted in the South Florida Weekender on August 21, 2015, in Volume 7, Number 34, on page 7, as follows, “The cult followers of Muhammad have killed 270 million people in 1,400 years. That’s 528 people per day and 22 people an hour (approx.) The causalities of Islam are nine times more than of Stalin and Hitler COMBINED.” No love of neighbor shown here. And the The Weekend Australian, November 26-27, 2005 said, “The lust for violence that many members of Islam have that is responsible for 90 to 95% of the violence in the world today.” In fact this cult is so rabid racist that one of their apologist (Iftikhar) even said, “There is no place for a none Muslim in a state supported Muslim school.” Galatians 6:9 – 10, [AV], “And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. 10 As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.” Which is the EXACT opposite practiced by Islam.

Scripture of the Day Empty Re: Scripture of the Day

Hi Everyone:

Here is a Commentary on Bountiful Trees and Vegetables God (YHWH) has provided for mankind, specifically the Cephalotaxus harringtonia, commonly called plum yew, is a dioecious coniferous evergreen that typically grows as a shrub to 5-10’ tall, but may be trained as a tree that could eventually rise to as much as 20-30’ tall. Growth is slow, however, and it often takes as much as 10 years for a plant to reach 4’ tall. It is native to shaded woodland areas in Japan, northeastern China and Korea. Linear, spirally-arranged, yew-like, evergreen leaves (to 1.5” long) appear in a v-shaped pattern on erect stems, many of which rise up from the base of the plant. Female flowers produce fleshy, edible, plum-like fruits (to 1" long). If fruits are desired, female plants with at least one male pollinator are required for fruit production to occur. Excellent tolerance for both shade and hot weather make this species an interesting substitute in the southeastern U. S. for true yews (Taxus) that usually struggle south of USDA Zone 7.

Cephalotaxus comes from the Greek word kephale meaning head and from taxus which is the botanical name for yews.
Specific epithet honors the Earl of Harrington who became an early enthusiast for the species after its introduction to Europe in the 1820s.
Plants are commonly called plum yews because the fruits on female plants resemble tiny plums and the foliage resembles that of yews (Taxus). [sourc - retrieved from http://www.missouribotanicalgarden.org/PlantFinder/PlantFinderDetails.aspx?kempercode=c769 on 8/16/2015]

Scripture of the Day Empty Re: Scripture of the Day

Post  Admin Tue Aug 25, 2015 11:58 am

SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY – [Wednesday]

Post  Admin Wed Aug 26, 2015 10:17 am

SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY – [Thursday]

Rejoicing in the habitable part of his earth; and my delights were with the sons of men. Proberbs 8:31 [authorized King James Bible; AV]

Almighty God’s (YHWH’s), firstborn Son was the earliest and most complete expression of Almighty God’s (YHWH’s), unfathomable wisdom. He was wisdom personified, “a master worker” alongside his Father for countless eons. We can only imagine the joy and satisfaction that he experienced as his Father “prepared the heavens” and “established the foundations of the earth.” However, though appreciating these inanimate things, God’s firstborn Son, “The LORD possessed me in the beginning of his way, before his works of old. 27 When he prepared the heavens, I was there: when he set a compass upon the face of the depth: 28 When he established the clouds above: when he strengthened the fountains of the deep: 29 When he gave to the sea his decree, that the waters should not pass his commandment: when he appointed the foundations of the earth: 30 Then I was by him, as one brought up with him: and I was daily his delight, rejoicing always before him;” (Prov. 8:22 – 30, [AV]). Yes, Jesus has a fondness, or tender affection, for mankind that stretches back to his pre-human existence as stated in the led scripture..

Later, as proof of his loyalty and love for his Father, as well as of his deep love for “the sons of men,” God’s Firstborn willingly, per Matthew 20:28, [AV] “ Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.” And, this reality existed, “Keep on fostering the same disposition that Christ Jesus had. 6 Though He was existing in the nature of God, He did not think His being on an equality with God a thing to be selfishly grasped, 7 but He laid it aside, as He took on the nature of a slave and became like other men. 8 Because He was recognized as a man, in reality as well as in outward form, He finally humiliated Himself in obedience so as to die, even to die on a cross.emptied himself” (Philippians 2:5 – 8, Williams Bible). What love he has for the human family! While Jesus was on earth, God empowered him to perform miracles that revealed how much he loved people. Jesus thus demonstrated the kind of marvelous things that will soon take place earth wide during his 1,000 year kingdom rule.
