After Eve was created, Adam informed her of God’s command. She knew it well and was able to repeat it almost verbatim. (Gen. 3:1-3) She did so to someone who presented himself as a serpent, a cautious creature. The one behind the serpent was Satan the Devil, a spirit son of God who had allowed himself to nurture a desire for independence and personal power. (Compare James 1:14, 15.) To achieve his evil ends, he accused God of lying. He assured Eve that reaching out for independence would result, not in death, but in becoming like God. (Gen. 3:4, 5) Eve believed him, asserted her independence by eating of the fruit which she was positively told not to eat, and persuaded Adam to join her. (Gen. 3:6, 17) The Devil had lied, per 1 Timothy 2:14, “And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.” [AV] Still, Adam “listened to [his] wife’s voice.” Though the serpent might have seemed to be a friend, Satan the Devil was in reality a cruel enemy who knew the fatal consequences of his suggestion to Eve.

[2] Alpinia galanga (also Languas galanga),[1] a plant in the ginger family, is an herb used in cooking, especially in Indonesian and Thai cuisines. It is one of four plants known as galangal and is differentiated from the others with the common name greater galangal (or simply Thai galangal). The galangals are also called blue ginger or Thai ginger.
Alpinia galanga is called laos in Indonesian and is the most common form of galangal used in cooking. It is also known as lengkuas and galanga root. In the Philippines, it is known as langkawas. In Manipuri, it is known as kanghu. In Myanmar, it is called pa de kaw (??????). In Cambodia, it is called romdeng(?????).
Description

The plant grows from rhizomes in clumps of stiff stalks up to 2 m in height with abundant long leaves that bear red fruit. It is native to South Asia and Indonesia and cultivated in Malaysia, Laos, and Thailand. A. galanga is the galangal used most often in cookery. The robust rhizome has a sharp, sweet taste and smells like a blend of black pepper and pine needles. The red fruit is used in traditional Chinese medicine and has a flavor similar to cardamom.
Culinary uses
The rhizome is a common ingredient in Thai curries and soups, where it is used fresh in chunks or cut into thin slices, mashed and mixed into curry paste. Indonesian rendang is usually spiced with galangal.[citation needed]
Traditional medicine

Under the names 'chewing John', 'little John to chew', and 'court case root', it is used in African American folk medicine and hoodoofolk magic.[citation needed] Ayurveda considers A. galanga (Sanskrit:-rasna) as a Vata Shamana drug. Known as ???????? (perarathai) in Tamil, this form of ginger is used with licorice root, called in Tamil athi-mathuram (Glycyrrhiza glabra) as folk medicine for colds and sore throats.[citation needed]
Potential pharmacology
The rhizome has been shown to have weak antimalarial activity in mice.[2]
Chemical constituents
Alpinia galanga rhizome contains the flavonol galangin.[3]
The rhizome contains an oil, known as galangol, which upon fractional distillation produces cineol, which has medicinal properties, pinene and eugenol, among others.[4]

After preparing our beautiful planet for human habitation, Jehovah issued three decrees regarding humans: Our God would create mankind in his image, humans were to expand Paradise globally and fill the earth with righteous offspring, and humans were prohibited from eating from the tree of the knowledge of good and bad. (Genesis 2:16, 17) There was no need for anything more. After the creation of man, adherence to the other two decrees was all that was necessary to have God’s purpose fulfilled.

It seems strange and completely unreasonable that anyone should make an issue with respect a name given by Francis David, in the book he jointly authored with Georgio Biandrata, "De falsa et vera unius Dei Patris, Filii, et Spiritus Sanci cognition," (The False and True Knowledge of the Unity of God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit), and others during the reformation to a communication style that has been used for over 2,000 years, and even by Jesus (Yeshua) and the Apostles. This especially so when the history of the reformation deals mostly with much more serious and substantial matters such as denial of religious freedom, burning of people at the stake because they do not agree with corrupt religious teachings and even worse - genocide and death by torture. It is like Jesus (Yeshua) said at Matthew 23:23-26, " Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye tithe mint and anise and cummin, and have left undone the weightier matters of the law, justice, and mercy, and faith: but these ye ought to have done, and not to have left the other undone. 24 Ye blind guides, that strain out the gnat, and swallow the camel! 25 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye cleanse the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full from extortion and excess. 26 Thou blind Pharisee, cleanse first the inside of the cup and of the platter, that the outside thereof may become clean also."(American Standard Version; ASV); which if you think about it apthly applies to both sides, Catholics and Protestants in the reformation.

The Catholics of course committed terrible acts against humanity in open flaunting violation of the Word of God as any good history book or encyclopedia will show, I recommend "Fox's Book of Martyrs," by Foxe, and the world history books by Catholic historian Will Durant. However, John Calvin and his followers did likewise even though they called themselves reformers, but this was a fraud as they were NOT true reformers, just another worldly power base. They like the Catholics and Martin Luther and his gang allied themselves with the god of this system [see 2 Corinthians 4:4] and the political systems in power under the god of this system clearly giving no heed to what Jesus (Yeshua) the Prince of Peace said at John 18:36-38, " Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence. 37 Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end have I been born, and to this end am I come into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice. 38 Pilate saith unto him, What is truth? And when he had said this, he went out again unto the Jews, and saith unto them, I find no crime in him."(ASV). They allied themselves as stated with the political powers under the god of this system, Satan the Devil, as did the Catholics in direct violation of James 4:4, " Ye adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? Whosoever therefore would be a friend of the world maketh himself an enemy of God"(ASV); and 1 John 2:15-16, " Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the vain glory of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world."(ASV).

This clearly shows that the Catholic church and the Protestant groups it gave birth to have from at least 325 A.D. continued to diverge ever further from truth with each time cycle with, now, some of these groups even appointing as bishops open practitioners of Sodomy, can you imagine; yet they have the nerve to call themselves followers of Christ, outrageous. They openly by their actions show they believe not James 4:4, previously quoted.

As to be expected, these ones who are like the PHARISEES of old as shown at Matthew 23:13-16, " But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! because ye shut the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye enter not in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering in to enter. 14 [Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye devour widows' houses, even while for a pretence ye make long prayers: therefore ye shall receive greater condemnation.] 15 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte; and when he is become so, ye make him twofold more a son of hell than yourselves. 16 Woe unto you, ye blind guides, that say, Whosoever shall swear by the temple, it is nothing; but whosoever shall swear by the gold of the temple, he is a debtor"(ASV).

These ones under the control of the god of this system as clearly shown by their actions in 100s of history books and encyclopedias detest those not following in their wrong path. Those who instead of ever diverging further from Bible truths are instead ever converging toward more refined truth with each time cycle. Those true Christians who are really following their leader Jesus (Yeshua) in reality and not just in name. [b]Who have never, no never, committed genocide, denied anyone religious freedom, burned anyone at the stake or committed other atrocities against humanity, even trying to give Christ's true followers a hard time over a trivial like a writing style. Utterly ridiculas, but clearly showing these opposers are NOT true followers of Christ, but really in opposition to him.

Many posters can Not distinguish between a writing style and a doctrine. Let's consider 'Sola Scriptura' or use of 50% or more only scripture as defined by Francis David in in the book he jointly authored withGeorgio Biandrata, "De falsa et vera unius Dei Patris, Filii, et Spiritus Sanci cognition," (The False and True Knowledge of the Unity of God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit). It is a writing style that got confused with a doctrine or dogma put forth by reformers in the 14 th. And 15 th. Century of a similar name, Bible only. Why did the two get mixed together in the thinking of many? Because the reformers used the Bible only doctrine of theirs to show the excesses and wrongs of the Catholic church such as selling indulgences. But as their tool in support of their Bible only doctrine they made extensive use of a communication style that Jesus (Yeshua) and his followers had used as shown in the Bible at Matthew 4:4; 4:6-7; 4:10; Luke 24:46; etc.

Of Course the belief or doctrine of the Bible only or the Bible is the Standard is a correct doctrine as clearly shown at many places in the Bible, one being 2 Timothy 3:16-17, " All scripture, inspired of God, is profitable to teach, to reprove, to correct, to instruct in justice:"(American Standard Version; ASV), and by Acts 17:11, and elsewhere. However, many wrongly contend otherwise as they would rather believe what man says than God's (YHWH's) Word, the Bible, says. These are the same ones as a general rule that confuse the writing style in which over 50% of the writing consist of scripture arranged in a free flowing way to assist others in learning Bible truths. However, this in no way makes it the same as the doctrine - correct - of the Bible only or the Bible is the Standard as some falsely allege.

Part II:

One poster even accused me of believing what some Rabbi in North Miami Beach believes simply because I quoted him on a subject that he is an expert in. However, I quote many knowledgeable individuals on many subjects in which they are experts. That in NO way implies I believe as they do with respect other matters. For example, I often quote Will Durant, a Catholic historian, but that in no way implies I believe as he does. It implies only that I consider him an expert on the specific subject I am using this quote for, nothing else anymore than does it imply that people who read the New American Bible (Catholic) are same sex pedophiles because one of the translators was accused of being one. Let's get real. I am not an Oracle or Prophetess so I must quote works of other researchers and knowledgeable individuals, and to try an equate that to believing as they do with respect doctrine/dogma is absolutely absurd and complete nonsense.

Jesus (Yeshua) said he comes from God. The flesh cannot be speaking for the flesh was created. So Jesus (Yeshua)'s spiritual being came from God. Jesus (Yeshua) did not send himself, he did not come on his own, but before he was on earth, God sent him. Jesus (Yeshua) was sent by God into the world, so Jesus (Yeshua) is before the world with God. [2] Intentionally Corrupted Bible Translations By Believers in False Gods:

INTRODUCTIONS:

For many years some translators have left the true God (YHWH) out of their translations and/or used it only minimally in keeping with a Jewish superstition that it was to 'Holy' to pronounce and might be used in vain. Now insincere translators and/or their staff have gone a major step further is some cases. Translators and/or their staff that believe in false gods and/or goddesses have now started replacing the true God (YHWH) of Abraham's name with that of some local deity. Unbelievable but true. Should we be surprised at this wicked act by some insincere translators and/or their staff? No, as 2 Corinthians 4:4, "in whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should not dawn upon them." (American Standard Version; ASV).

EXAMPLES OF INTENTIONAL CORRUPTIONS BY BELIEVERS IN FALSE DEITIES:

Here are some actual examples of the false mythical local gods of Satan the Devil actually being substituted for the name of the true God (YHWH) of Abraham in some Bibles by insincere translators and/or their staff to usurp his position and give deference to local deities - false puppet gods of the ruler of this system per Ephesians 2:2, "wherein ye once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the powers of the air, of the spirit that now worketh in the sons of disobedience;" (ASV). These wicked ones of course have not given attention to Ephesians 2:2, just quoted; nor to John 14:30, "I will no more speak much with you, for the prince of the world cometh: and he hath nothing in me;" (ASV); nor John 16:11, "of judgment, because the prince [Satan the Devil] of this world hath been judged." (ASV).

A translation, the Chickewa Bible - 'Buku Loyera' - used in Malawi, Mozambique, and Zambia, renders the Tetragrammation (YHWH) - the name of the true God (YHWH) of Abraham's as "Chauta," the name of a tribal god meaning 'Great One of the Bow.' But the wicked translators of this version claim to be worshipping true God (YHWH) of Abraham when they are not. Their justification for using "chauta" is the fact that most local people use this term to mean god, but in fact this is wrong as there is actually another term for god strictly as a title. Also, they could have and should have used the Tetragrammation (YHWH) - the name of the true God (YHWH) of Abraham.

One notable intentional corruption of one version of the Bible, The Authentic New Testament by Hugh J. Schonfield occurred because an evil member of his staff substituted the name of an Arabian tribal mythical Moon god, "Allah," in place of the name of the true God (YHWH) of Abraham by one of his staff who was a member of Islam. However, proofreaders quickly caught this and later editions of this Bible, The Authentic New Testament by Hugh J. Schonfield (Sd) have no such ungodly error. Unfortunately, 'game play' by evil ones such as that just mentioned occur from time to time.

Of course intentional evil corruption's with respect the name of the true God (YHWH) of Abraham are not the only intentional corruption's that occur. One African translation, for example, refers to the Apostle Luke as a witch doctor. And the 'Tuvaluan Bible takes evil liberties with Jude 23, saying, "Show intense love for sodomites: just be careful you are not affected by their sodomy." However, the original text of Jude 23, "and some save, snatching them out of the fire; and on some have mercy with fear; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh." (ASV) never even mention sodomites nor sodomy; whereas, sodomy is condemned at Romans 1:24-29, "Wherefore God gave them up in the lusts of their hearts unto uncleanness, that their bodies should be dishonored among themselves: 25 for that they exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshipped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. 26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile passions: for their women changed the natural use into that which is against nature: 27 and likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another, men with men working unseemliness, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was due. 28 And even as they refused to have God in their knowledge, God gave them up unto a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not fitting; 29 being filled with all unrighteousness, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, malignity; whisperers," (ASV). Now let's look at the reality with respect false gods and goddesses.

FALSE GODS, OF COURSE, ARE NOTHING BUT FIGMENTS OF THE IMAGINATION

There exist many false gods which are figments of the imagination and some of these such as Molech, Ashtoreth, Baal, Dagon Merodach, Zeus, Hermes, Artemis, etc. are mentioned in the Bible. Let's look at a few instances, Leviticus 18:21, "And thou shalt not let any of thy seed pass through the fire to Molech, neither shalt thou profane the name of thy God: I am the LORD." (AV); Judges 2:13, "And they forsook the LORD, and served Baal and Ashtaroth." (AV); Judges 16:23, "Then the lords of the Philistines gathered them together for to offer a great sacrifice unto Dagon their god, and to rejoice: for they said, Our god hath delivered Samson our enemy into our hand." (AV); Jeremiah 50:2, "Declare ye among the nations, and publish, and set up a standard; publish, and conceal not: say, Babylon is taken, Bel is confounded, Merodach is broken in pieces; her idols are confounded, her images are broken in pieces." (AV); Acts 14:12, "And they called Barnabas, Jupiter; and Paul, Mercurius, because he was the chief speaker." (AV). Some of these gods exist until today, usually under new names.

The old middle eastern Moon god who has gone by many names is still well venerated. This is shown by "The Archeology of The Middle East" which states, "The religion of Islam has as its focus of worship a deity by the name of "Allah." The Muslims claim that Allah in pre-Islamic times was the biblical God of the Patriarchs, prophets, and apostles. The issue is thus one of continuity. Was "Allah" the biblical God or a pagan god in Arabia during pre-Islamic times? The Muslim's claim of continuity is essential to their attempt to convert Jews and Christians for if "Allah" is part of the flow of divine revelation in Scripture, then it is the next step in biblical religion. Thus we should all become Muslims. But, on the other hand, if Allah was a pre-Islamic pagan deity, then its core claim is refuted. Religious claims often fall before the results of hard sciences such as archeology. We can endlessly speculate about the past or go and dig it up and see what the evidence reveals. This is the only way to find out the truth concerning the origins of Allah. As we shall see, the hard evidence demonstrates that the god Allah was a pagan deity. In fact, he was the Moon-god who was married to the sun goddess and the stars were his daughters.

Archaeologists have uncovered temples to the Moon-god throughout the Middle East. From the mountains of Turkey to the banks of the Nile, the most wide-spread religion of the ancient world was the worship of the Moon-god. In the first literate civilization, the Sumerians have left us thousands of clay tablets in which they described their religious beliefs. As demonstrated by Sjoberg and Hall, the ancient Sumerians worshipped a Moon-god who was called many different names. The most popular names were Nanna, Suen and Asimbabbar. His symbol was the crescent moon. Given the amount of artifacts concerning the worship of this Moon-god, it is clear that this was the dominant religion in Sumeria. The cult of the Moon-god was the most popular religion throughout ancient Mesopotamia. The Assyrians, Babylonians, and the Akkadians took the word Suen and transformed it into the word Sin as their favorite name for the Moon-god. As Prof. Potts pointed out, "Sin is a name essentially Sumerian in origin which had been borrowed by the Semites." All these mythical gods are not merely inferior to Almighty God (YHWH). In most cases they are nenexistent - strictly figments of human imagination. The Bible refers to these gods at Deuteronomy 4:28, " And there ye shall serve gods, the work of men's hands, wood and stone, which neither see, nor hear, nor eat, nor smell." (AV). The Bible clearly teaches that God (YHWH) is the only true God (YHWH).

Therefore it is no wonder that the scriptures sternely warn against worshipping any other deith other than Almighty God (YHWH) Exodus 20:3, the first of the Ten Commandments states, " Thou shalt have no other gods before me." (AV), and the second of the Ten Commandments states, " Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:" (AV).

CONCLUSION:

As can be seen from the foregoing, evil and wicked ones have intentionally tried to corrupt some Bible translations. This is being done by evil translators or in some cases by wicked members of their staff in order to try and justify the worship of false gods and/or to make wicked practices such as sodomy seem acceptable to the true God (YHWH) of Abraham when it is NOT. All must be on guard and not let themselves be tricked by these evil machinations being directed by none other than Satan the Devil.

Let's remember, to venerate a god that does not even exist is a great insult to the Creator (YHWH), and worshippers of false gods are described at Romans 1:25, "for that they exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshipped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.." (ASV).

Like the righteous spirit creatures in heaven, the physical heavens are superbly organized, per Isaiah 40:26, “Lift up your eyes on high, and see who hath created these, that bringeth out their host by number; he calleth them all by name; by the greatness of his might, and for that he is strong in power, not one is lacking.” [ASV]. Therefore, it is logical to conclude that Jehovah would organize his servants on earth. He wants them to maintain good order, and that is vitally important because they have so much important work to do. The splendid record of faithful service established by Jehovah’s worshippers past and present provides powerful evidence that he has been with them and that he is “a God not of disorder but of peace.” (1 Corinthians 14:40).

During a question and answer session at a recent speaking engagement, a university student asked me, "Why do you believe that the Bible is the inspired word of God?" Now this is a very interesting question; and probably one of the most important questions any Christian could ask them selves. What is so special, so unique about the Bible that Christians believe it is literally the inspired word of God?

In answering this student's question, I encouraged him to consider the following facts about the Bible: First, the Bible is not just one single book. This is a more common misconception than many people realize, especially with people who do not come from a Judeo-Christian background. Rather than being a single book, the Bible is actually a collection of 66 books, which is called the canon of scriptures. These 66 books contain a variety of genres: history, poetry, prophecy, wisdom literature, letters, and apocalyptic, just to name a few.

Second, these 66 books were written by 40 different authors. These authors came from a variety of backgrounds: shepherds, fishermen, doctors, kings, prophets, and others. And most of these authors never knew one another personally.

Third, these 66 books were written over a period of 1500 years. Yet again, this is another reminder that many of these authors never knew or collaborated with one another in writing these books.

Fourth, the 66 books of the Bible were written in 3 different languages. In the Bible we have books that were written in the ancient languages of Hebrew, Greek, and Aramaic; a reflection of the historical and cultural circumstances in which each of these books were written.

And finally, these 66 books were written on 3 different continents: Africa, Asia, and Europe . Once again, this is a testament to the varied historical and cultural circumstances of God's people. Think about the above realities: 66 books, written by 40 different authors, over 1500 years, in 3 different languages, on 3 different continents. What's more, this collection of books shares a common storyline- the creation, fall, and redemption of God's people; a common theme- God's universal love for all of humanity; and a common message- salvation is available to all who repent of their sins and commit to following God with all of their heart, soul, mind and strength.

In addition to sharing these commonalities, these 66 books contain no historical errors or contradictions. God's word truly is an amazing collection of writings! After I had shared the above facts with this student, I offered him the following challenge: I said to him, "If you do not believe that the Bible is the inspired word of God, if you do not believe that the Bible is of a supernatural origin, then I challenge you to a test." I said to the student, "I challenge you to go to any library in the world; you can choose any library you like, and find 66 books which match the characteristics of the 66 books in the Bible. You must choose 66 books, written by 40 different authors, over 1500 years, in 3 different languages, written on 3 different continents. However, they must share a common storyline, a common theme, and a common message, with no historical errors or contradictions." I went on to say, "If you can produce such a collection of
books, I will admit that the Bible is not the inspired word of God."

The student's reply was almost instantaneous, he emphatically stated," But that's impossible!" It truly is impossible, for any collection of human writings. However, the Bible passes this test. The Bible contains 66 books, written by 40 different authors, over 1500 years, in 3 different languages, on 3 different continents, with no historical errors or contradictions. The entire Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, bears the mark of Divine inspiration.

The next time you encounter someone who asks you why you believe the Bible is the inspired word of God, try sharing this challenge with them. Better yet, don't wait until you're asked, just go ahead and share this challenge with a friend today. You don't even have to mention the Bible up front, just ask them if they think it would be realistic to assemble such a collection of books. After they say, "But that's impossible!" you've got a ready-made opportunity for sharing the truth of God's word with somebody!

The King James and the American Standard Versions of the New
Testament

(The following is the first in a series of five articles to be
reprinted in successive issues of The Bible Translator by
permission of the International Council of Religious Education,
which first *Issued these articles, together with certain others,
under the title "An Introduction to the Revised Standard Version of
the New Testament". The Revised Standard Version has met with
unusually wide acceptance, and these explanatory articles should be
of help to those who wish to understand more fully the nature of the
revision and what underlies it. - Ed.)

The King James Version was not the first English Bible. It is
difficult to realize that it had to fight its way for general
recognition for fifty years. It was charged with "bad theology, bad
scholarship, and bad English". To this day the form of the Lord's
Prayer most widely used is not that of the King James Version. The
Psalter and some other parts of the Book of Common Prayer were never
made to conform to this translation. But the noble language of the
King James Version so endeared it to generations of English-speaking
people that it has become the most widely used translation of the
Bible. and by far the most widely read English book.

It is needless to join here in the praise which has been heaped upon
this English classic. It will never be dislodged from its high place
in the history of our literature. But the Christian Church has more
than a literary interest in the Bible. It believes that the Bible is
the record of a divine revelation. Is this version of the New
Testament an accurate and understandable translation of the original
Greek? That is the vital question for religion.. During the
nineteenth century it became increasingly clear to all scholars that
such was not the case, The many and serious faults of the King James
Version finally led to the setting up in England of an official
committee for revision. These men in turn solicited co-operation
from an American committee. After more than ten years of exacting
labor, they published the New Testament in 1881, The American
preferences were inserted in the American Standard Version of 1901.

The first and most important improvement made by the revisers was in
the Greek text which was made the basis for their translation. The
King James Version was based essentially upon the Greek text of
Beza, printed in 1598. Though he had available what we know to be
much better manuscripts, Beza had followed the text of Erasmus,
which was based on late and corrupt medieval manuscripts. The
tremendous advance in textual criticism during the nineteenth
century made it clear that it was indefensible to follow this so-
called "Received Text". The revisers, following the principles used
by Westcott and Hort for recovering the original text. found
correction to be necessary at more than five thousand points.

The vast majority of these corrections are hardly noticed by the
average reader, but the attentive reader will find interesting
differences. A beginning student in Greek was translating I John 4 :
19, "We love him because he first loved us." I stopped him with the
query, "Where is the word for him?" He confessed that there was
none: but he was so familiar with the King James Version that he
took for granted that it must be correct. Yet John bad not said that
it I's our love of God that depends on his prior love for us, As the
text followed by the American Standard Version has it, all Christian
love depend, on that When a class comes to Acts 8, 1 usually ask a
student to read verse 37. Either he cannot find it, or finally
locates the footnote which tells him that it is not found in the
best manuscripts. An early scribe had thought it improper for Philip
to baptize the Ethiopian eunuch without a confession of faith,
Hence, he supplied the deficiency. The King James Version was based
on this corrupted text. Once I was comparing the version of the
Great Commandments as given in a modern hymnal with the true Greek
text and I was shocked at the inaccuracies. While the substance was
the same, within four verses there were four important deviations
from the correct text. Then I realized that the hymnal had used the
version of King James rather than the American Standard Version. A
slight textual change may be siqnificant as in 2 Corinthians 5: 14.
There the Received Text called for the translation. "If one died for
all then were all dead". But Paul did not think that there was
anything hypothetical about the representative death of Christ. The
apostle wrote, as the American Standard Version translates. "One
died for all".

A second need for the revision lay in the fact that many words used
in the King

James Version had become obsolete or had changed their meaning, What
modern reader would imagine that the "carriages " which Paul took
tip on his trip to Jerusalem were in fact "baqgage" (Acts 21 - 15)?
Or, when Paul beheld the "devotions" of the Athenians, that it
was "the objects of your worship" (Acts 17 : 23). He would hardly
know that "scrip" meant a "wallet" or "bag" (Mark 6 : 8) unless he
consulted his dictionary. Certainly a schoolboy would be forgiven
some perplexity if he should remember the date of the invention of
the compass and then read in the description of Paul's sea
voyage, "We fetched a compass" (Acts 28 : 13), "Made a circuit" is
more intelligible even if it is not particularly nautical. He could
probably guess the meaning of some words. When he read in Matthew
13: 21 of the seed which did not have root that it "dureth for a
while" he in might understand that as -endureth-, Or when I Peter 3 -
11 said, "Seek peace and ensue it", he might think the
word "pursue" instead. But in other
the reader would have an entirely false certainty. Flow, could he
know that the "nephews" of certain widows in I Timothy 5 , 4 were in
fact their "grandchildren"? He would assume that Mark was perfectly
clear in speaking of -tbe coasts of Tyre and !Sidon", for these
cities stood on the Mediterranean. But, as a matter of fact, the
word was used as a synonym for "borders" (Mark 7:24,31).

A great many words have changed their meaning in the last three
hundred years. We still use the word "let", but that does not help
us understand that "he who now letteth" really means "one that
restraineth" now (2 Thess. 2 : 7). Unless a reader remembers his
Latin he is likely to be misled by the words, "We which... remain
unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep
(I Thess. 4 - 15). Since we use "prevent" for "hinder", the revisers
wisely substituted "precede". Many people have charged Jesus with
qiving impractical advice when he said. "Take no thought for your
life" (Matthew 6 - 25). They welcomed the revision which read, "Be
not anxious", But that was exactly what the word "thought" meant to
our Elizabethan forefathers. We may speak of a "charger", but we
think of a prancing horse rather than a "platter" on which the head
of John the Baptist might be laid (Mark 6 - 25). We may use the
adjective "lively", but never when what we mean is "living" (I Peter
2 : 4-5). We may refer to a man's "conversation", but we never mean
by that his "conduct" (James 3 : 13) : yet that is the way the word
was used over and over again in the King James Version. No matter
what kind of "room" we eat in, we would never refer to higher and
lower rooms at a dinner table (Luke 14 .7-10). We know what
an "estate" is, but that does not help us to see how "chief estates"
could be invited to a birthday supper (Mark 6: 21). The Revised
Versions of 1881 and 1901 put all of these passages into words which
we use today.

It was in the use of prepositions that the King James Version was
most misleading.The famous "strain at a gnat' (Matthew 23 - 24) was
simply a misprint for "strain out a gnat", but the misprint was not
corrected. In some cases the reader might guess what the passage
really means. He may recognize that "Make to yourselves friends of
the mammon of unrighteousness" means in fact "by means of the mammon
of unrighteousness (Luke 16 : 9). When Jesus says. "against the day
of my burying hath she kept this", the meaning is "for the day"
(John 12 : 7), Other cases are probably too absurd to be misleading,
Pilate could not possibly have said about Jesus, "Nothing worthy of
death is done unto him" (Luke 23 : 15), It must mean "done by him",
as the revisers made it. But the average reader was left totally in
the dark when Pats] was made to write, "I know nothing by myself" (I
Cor. 4 - 4). The apostle certainly believed that he owed everythinq
to Christ, but what he actually wrote here was. "I know nothing
against myself". Among the significant points obscured by the King
James use of prepositions was the distinction between source and
mediation. In the prologue of John they said of the Word, "All
things were made by him" (I : 3). The American revisers properly
corrected it to "through him". The same change was made in I
Corinthians 8 - 6 where Christ is called the mediator rather than
the absolute source of creation.

Actual mistranslations are numerous, Paul did not write to the
Thessalonians, "Abstain from all appearance of evil" (I Thess,
5 :22). He meant that they should keep from "every form of evil."
When the Pharisee was made to say in the parable of Jesus, "I give
tithes of all that I possess", this ascribed to Jesus a
misconception of the law of the tithe. It was not on property but on
income. Hence the revisers properly wrote, "All that I get" (Luke
18 : 12). In I Timothy 6 : 5 the subject was mistaken for the
predicate. "Supposing that gain is godliness" had to be corrected
to "supposinq that godliness is, a way of gain". What Herod did with
John the Baptist when be put him in prison was not to "observe him"
but "keep him safe- (Mark 6 :20).

Some wrong translations were due to the influence of the Latin
Vulgate, In Luke 23 : 33 the 1611 Bible kept the word "Calvary",
which had been used since Tyndale for "the place which is called The
Skull", The Latin word for skull was calvaria. There is no reason
for its use in the English translation of a Greek book. The mistake
in John 10:16 has a pertinent bearing on the question of Christian
unity. The King James Version reads, "Other sheep I have, which are
not of this fold... and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd",
But in the Greek there are two different words. both of which are
translated here fold". as in the Vulgate, What the gospel says is
that there are sheep who do not belong to this fold, but that all
belong to one flock.

For its own time the 1611 version did not contain many mistakes in
Enqlish grammar. But our usage in the gender of pronouns has become
entirely different. Any student who turned in a composition with
such sentences as "salt has lost his savour", (Matthew 5 - 13),
or "my messenger. .. which shall prepare thy way" (Mark I : 2),
would have his work blue-penciled rather severely. "Cherubims"
(Hebrews 9 :5) is a false plural, for the Hebrew word "cherubim" is
itself the plural of cherub. When they wrote in Hebrews 5 :
8 "though he were a Son", it was a false use of the subjunctive for
any period of our lanquaqe. Since there is nothing hypothetical
involved, the revisers properly made it read "though he was a Son".
Probably the most notorious grammatical slip was in the story of
Peter's confession. They must have been thinking in Greek, where the
subject of an infinitive is in the accusative case, when they
wrote, "Whom do men say that I am". (Mark 8 : 27). Naturally the
revisers restored it to English syntax with the nominative "who".

The King James Version introduced many distinctions which have no
basis in the original, In their famous preface, the translators
affirmed that they did not feel bound to a single rendering for the
same word. It is true that a translator must consider the
differences of context, and give attention to the literary
possibilities of the language in which he is writing. A Greek verb
like katargeo must be rendered in English in a wide variety of ways,
but when Paul deliberately used it three times in the same paragraph
with the same meaning they were not justified in using three
different expressions (I Cor. 13 : 8-10). What was to be gained by
calling the same Old Testament character by three different names,
Jeremiah, Jeremias, and Jeremy? The result of this carelessness or
freedom (whichever we prefer to call it) is that, the King James
Version gives an inaccurate picture of the underlying Greek text,
For instance, in Acts 17:11 are told that Paul was brought to the
Areopagus. Then in 17 : 22 he stands "in the midst of Mars' Hill".
How is the reader to know that both translate the same Greek word
and are really alternative possibilities as to its meaning? It was
most unfortunate that in I Corinthians 13 and a few other places
they forsook the Anglo-Saxon word "love" for the Latin "charity" as
a translation for agape. Tyndale, Cranmer, and the Geneva Bible had
all been uniform in their use of "love". If Paul used one and the
same word, why should not we?

In the Synoptic Gospels, where the parallels are so important, the
King James Version does not give any indication of the literary
dependence revealed by the Greek text.
Matthew 18 - 33 reads, "Shouldest not thou also have compassion on
thy fellow servant, even as I had pity on thee?" Why should the same
Greek word be "compassion" in one half of the sentence and "pity" in
the other? The revisers chose "mercy" in both cases. In Matthew
20,20 the King James Version reads. "Then came to him the mother of
Zebedee's children with her sons**. Zebedee may have had daughters
as well as sons, but the Greek word is "son" in each case.

On the other hand, the translators of the King James Version
obliterated many distinctions which are in the Greek, They
used "bell" indiscriminately for "Hades" (Matt, II : 23) and for -
Gehenna" (Matt. 5: 22). One meant the abode of the dead. the other,
a place of punishment. But how could the English reader know which
Greek word stood in any individual passage? The revisers of 1881
were very careful at this point, Again, the King James Version used
the word "beast" both for the four "living creatures" who stood
round about the throne singing praises to God (Rev. 4:6) and for the
diabolical monsters who were the opponents of God and his servants
(Rev. II :7: 13 - I). In the original, entirely different words are
used and the, revisers made this clear. To mention one more point,
the distinctions in Greek tenses were often not observed, even when
it was important for the meaning.

Two illustrations will suffice of the anachronisms which slipped
into the King James Version. The resurrection of Jesus is central in
the New
Testament, but that does not mean that apostolic Christianity had a
festival which they called "Easter" (Acts 12 : 4) Our Easter may be
close to the Jewish Passover, but that is hardly a justification for
translating the latter word as "Easter' , . It seemed perfectly
natural in
Elizabethan England that a woman should light a candle and sweep
the house to find a lost coin (Luke 15:8). But in first-century
Palestine
it was a little lamp which gave light to the room. The more exact
knowledge of the revisers made possible these corrections.

Examples might be extended almost indefinitely. but enough have been
given to indicate why so many changes were made by the revisers. In
their desire to remove inaccuracies, they may be accused of having
dropped into other pitfalls. A later chapter will deal with what
they failed to do and some of the points on which their judgment
proved faulty, But no one can, successfully deny that the English
Revised Version, and the American Standard Version provided the most
faithful and accurate translation of the New Testament which had yet
been produced. An advance to a more perfect translation could only
begin by building on their achievements.

LAST, I wish to make a comment. The King James Bible was an excellent translation in its day, but many thousands of manuscripts and parts of ancient manuscripts have been uncovered/found since then and our understanding of Koine Greek has improved since then very much. Also, the KJB was influenced by the biases of the day, and also contained some unauthorized additions in violation of Revelation 22:18-19.

Description
Antidesma is a variable genus which may be short and shrubby or tall and erect, approaching 30 metres in height.It has large oval shaped leathery evergreen leaves up to about 20 centimetres long and seven wide. The flowers have a strong, somewhat unpleasant scent. The staminate flowers are arranged in small bunches and the pistillate flowers grow on long racemes which will become the long strands of fruit. The fruits are spherical and just under a centimeter wide, hanging singly or paired in long, heavy bunches. They are white when immature and gradually turn red, then black.When they are still white they have sour and astringent taste, sour taste when they are red and have sweet and sour taste when they are black.
The evergreen (sometimes deciduous) simple leaves have fine hairs and show no glands. They grow in an alternate arrangement, with entire, symmetrical blades. They are connected to the stem with a petiole (leaf stalk) and stipules (appendage at the base of a leaf stalk).
The flowers grow in a raceme, with 1 bract per flower, on a short pedicel (tiny stalk, supporting a single flower). Their color is light yellowish green, but may turn red when mature. These plants are dioecious, i.e. unisexual, with male and female flowers on separate plants. There are 3 to 8 fused sepals, but no petals. The male flowers have 2 to 8 stamens, but no pistils. The female flowers have 2 to 6 stigmas. They have a 1-locular ovary with 2 ovules.
The globose to ellipsoid fruits resemble a drupe. Their color varies from green to white, red and black. The fleshy and juicy fruits are edible with a sour to bitter sweet taste. Some individuals find Antidesma bunius berries to have a bitter taste. Those who detect this bitter taste (about 15% of subjects tested) cannot taste PTC, and similarly those who can taste PTC (about 68% of the subjects) cannot taste any bitterness in Antidesma bunius, while a minority of people cannot taste bitterness in either.[7][8]

[Here he is letting us know that this tribulation and ever worsening world conditions will not continue on without letup, but will be short lived to the time of one generation]35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. [2] LET'S HAVE REALITY IN TRANSLATION:

INTRODUCTION:

The understanding with respect some scriptures in the Bible is badly clouded by translational errors caused either by the translator's bias, lack of understanding of idiomatic expressions, or lack of understanding of ancient writing styles. Many of these can readily be seen by careful readers as they do NOT jive with the remainder of the Bible and/or do not make any sense upon close examination. Some of these scriptures are those whose meaning is the most questioned and argued by Bible translators and/or scholars. Yet most show flawed meaning when they are closely examined in lack of agreement within themselves and/or with near by scriptures. To better grasp the subject we will examine the case of John 1:1 whose meaning is perhaps the most disputed of any in the entire Bible due to biased translational renderings in most Bibles in common usage.

THE CONSTRUCTS:

Let's first examine the most common constructs used for translating this scripture and then consider the facts and last some advanced translational items dealing with this scripture.

The 10 possible constructs of John 1:1 that do NOT violate any rule of Koine Greek grammar with the exception of the fact is that THE-OS' (=God) is a count noun, not a mass noun or an adjective. As a count noun it MUST BE countable, i.e. either definite or indefinite (i.e. either "a god" or "the God") for two of the constructs:

<2> "the nature of the Word was the same as the nature of God" [example of Bible using, Schonfield, 1976]

<4> "And the word was a god" [example of Bible using, The New Testament in An Improved Version, Upon the Basis of Achbishop Newcome's New Translation: With a Corrected Text.]

<5> "and the Word was divine" [example of Bible using, The Bible: An American Translation, by J.M.P. Smith and E.J. Goodspeed. }

As we can see, here are ten different constructs possible without violating any rule of Koine Greek grammar except the count Noun rule. So, now, let's look at what follows in context in general format at John 1:2:

"The Word, then, was with God at the beginning," (The New English Bible, NEB)

"The same was in the beginning with God." (American Standard Version, ASB)

"The same was in the beginning with God." (Authorized King James Bible; AV)

"He was in the beginning with God." (Revised Standard Version; RSV)

"He was in the beginning with God." (The Confraternity Edition of the New Testament - Catholic)

As is easily seen, John 1:2 is substantially the same in all translations. However, in context it does not harmonize with some of the constructs used which do not violate any rule of Koine Greek grammar with the exception of the count Noun rule to be explained later.

However clearly some of the ten (10) or more basic constructs agree in context with John 1:2 and some do NOT. Let's look at the point where some do not agree or harmonize with the context of John 1:2:

John 1:2 plainly says that the Word, or Logos, who is Jesus (Yeshua) was with God in the beginning which would be impossible if Jesus (Yeshua) was Almighty God (YHWH) himself. This rules out constructs 6, 7, and 10, represented below, as impossible as they do NOT harmonize with context.

And two of these constructs do violate the count Noun rule of Koine Greek; to wit, constructs 6 and 7.

Now exactly what is the count Noun rule of Koine Greek? It is as follows:

The fact is that THE-OS' (=God) is a count noun, not a mass noun or an adjective. As a count noun it MUST BE countable, i.e. either definite or indefinite (i.e. either "a god" or "the God"). The trinitarian argument hinges on stripping THE-OS' of its count-ability, so that it is purely qualitative. However, if a noun is PURELY qualitative, it is not a count noun. An adjective or a mass noun may fit their requirement for emphasizing qualitativness only, but a count noun MUST BE countable, for that is what *count* means when describing a count noun. If he accepts this rather elementary rule of English grammar, you can demonstrate that, as a count noun, THE-OS' may be translated either "the Word was God" (="the Word was The God", which is Sabellianism), or "the Word was a god". Since orthodox trinitarians reject "the Word was The God" (=Sabellianism), they are left with "the Word was a god" -- that is, if they remain true to English syntax (and English syntax is what ENGLISH translations are supposed to follow!). If one argues the point, let them provide an example of a non-countable *count noun* that is not used in a contrary-to-fact situation, such as a metaphor. I have yet to find anyone, trinitarian or otherwise, who is able to meet this challenge. Rolf Furuli, one of the two best living Koine Greek scholars, discusses this in his book, THE ROLE OF THEOLOGY AND BIAS IN BIBLE TRANSLATION, as does Greg Stafford, in his, JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES DEFENDED: AN ANSWER TO SCHOLARS AND CRITICS. "To preserve in English the different nuance of the-os' [god] with and without the article, some (Moffat) would translate 'The Word was divine.'"

Notice a literal translation of John 1:1,2:

"In the beginning was the world and the word was toward the god and god was the word. This (one) was in beginning toward the god."

In these two verses we see six nouns, three referring to the Greek word logos (word, which most recognize to be Jesus) and three referring to the Greek word the-os' (god). We notice each reference to logos (word) is preceded by the definite article "the", while two of the three times the word the-os' (god) occurs, it too is preceded by the definite article "the". For some reason, John does not provide the definite article with the-os' when it is associated with "The Word". We thus see two definite individuals mentioned in this verse. "The Word", Jesus Christ, and "The God", who is Almighty God Jehovah. John does not say "The Word" is "The God". In fact, most Trinitarian scholars would argue that if John had said the word was "ho the-os'" (The God), it would amount to sabellianism (the belief that Jesus is both the Father and the Son). As such, it is commonly agreed upon that John was not identifying Jesus as God but rather, was describing him as deity. But if John did not say "The Word" is "The God", then what did he mean by saying, "the word was god"?

In Greek, it is possible for a noun to act as an adjective when it is not accompanied by the definite article. Consider a Biblical example of this in John 6:70. "Jesus replied, "Have I not chosen you, the Twelve? Yet one of you is a devil!" (NIV)

Here the noun (devil) is not proceeded by the finite article (the). To reflect this most Bibles place the indefinite article (a) in front of it. Thus, Jesus was not identifying Judas as "THE Devil", he was saying Judas had the qualities of the devil. He was acting like the devil so he was A devil though not THE devil. This example helps us to see how the lack of the definite article can cause a noun to act as a predication rather than an identification.

Regarding this point, noted Bible scholar William Barclay writes:

"When in Greek two nouns are joined by the verb to be and when both have the definite article, then the one is fully identified with the other; but when one of them is without the article, it become more an adjective than a noun, and describes rather the class of the sphere to which the other belongs...

"John has no definte article before theos, God. The Logos, therefore, is not identified as God or with God; the word theos has become adjectival and describes the sphere to which the logos belongs...

"This passage then [John 1:1] does not identify the Logos and God; it does not say that Jesus was God, nor doesit call him God; but it does say that in his nature and being he belongs to the same class as God."

Mr. Barclay's observations are duly noted in the example we considered with Judas Iscariot being "a devil".

Now let's consider what the Greek Scholar Jason BeDuhn from the Northern Arizona University has to say: "The Greek phrase is theos en ho logos, which translated word for word is "a god was the word." Greek has only a definite article, like our the, it does not have an indefinite article, like our a or an. If a noun is definite, it has the definite article ho. If a noun is indefinite, no article is used. In the phrase from John 1:1, ho logos is "the word." If it was written simply logos, without the definite article ho, we would have to translate it as "a word". So we are not really "inserting" an indefinite article when we translate Greek nouns without the definite article into English, we are simply obeying rules of English grammar that tell us that we cannot say "Snoopy is dog," but must say "Snoopy is a dog."

Now in English we simply say "God"; we do not say "The God." But in Greek, when you mean to refer to the one supreme God, instead of one of the many other beings that were called "gods," you would have to say "The God": ho theos. Even a monotheistic Christian, who believes there is only one God and no others, would be forced to say in Greek "The God," as John and Paul and the other writers of the New Testament normally do. If you leave off the article in a phrase like John 1:1, then you are saying "a god." (There are some exceptions to this rule: Greek has what are called noun cases, which means the nouns change form depending on how they are used in a sentence. So, if you want to say "of God," which is theou, you don't need the article. But in the nominative case, which is the one in John 1:1, you have to have the article. So what does John mean by saying "the word was a god"? He is classifying Jesus in a specific category of beings. There are plants and animals and humans and gods, and so on. By calling the Word "a god," John wants to tell his readers that the Word (which becomes Jesus when it takes flesh) belongs to the divine class of things. Notice the word order: "a god was the word." We can't say it like this in English, but you can in Greek. The subject can be after the verb and the object before the verb, the opposite of how we do it in English (subject-verb-object). Research has shown that when ancient Greek writers put a object-noun first in a sentence like John 1:1 (a be-verb sentence: x is y), without the definite article, they are telling us that the subject belongs to the class represented by the object-noun: :"The car is a Volkswagen." In English we would accomplish the same thing by using what we call predicate adjectives. "John is a smart person" = "John is smart." So we would tend to say "The word was divine," rather than "The word was a god." That is how I would translate this phrase. "The word was a god" is more literal, and an improvement over "The word was God," but it raises more problems, since to a modern reader it implies polytheism. No one in John's day would have understood the phrase to mean "The word was God" - the language does not convey that sense, and conceptually it is difficult to grasp such an idea, especially since that author has just said that the word was with God. Someone is not with himself, he is with some other. John clearly differentiates between God from the Word. The latter becomes flesh and is seen; the former cannot be seen. What is the Word? John says it was the agent through whom God made the world. He starts his gospel "In the beginning..." to remind us of Genesis 1. How does God create in Genesis? He speaks words that make things come into existence. So the Word is God's creative power and plan and activity. It is not God himself, but it is not really totally separate from God either. It occupies a kind of ambiguous status. That is why a monotheist like John can get away with calling it "a god" or "divine" without becoming a polytheist. This divine thing does not act on its own, however, does take on a kind of distinct identity, and in becoming flesh brings God's will and plan right down face to face with humans.

These translations use such words 'as "a god," "divine," or "godlike" because the Greek word eEO<; (the-os') is a singular predicate noun occurring before the verb and is 'riot preceded by the definite article. This is an anarthrous "the-os'". The God with whom the Word, or Logos, .was originally is designated here by the Greek expression Qedz, that is, "the-os'". ,proceded by the definite article ho. .This'is an articular, "the-os'". . The articular construction of the noun 'points' to an identity, a personality,; whereas a singular ,anarthrous predicate noun preceding the verb points to,a quality about someone., Therefore, John's statement that the Word, or Logos,--was "a god" or "divine" or "godlike" does not mean that he was the God with whom he was. It merely expresses a certain quality about the Word, or Logos, but it does not identify his as one and the same as God himself..

In the Greek text there, are many cases of a singular antarthrous predicate noun preceding the verb, such as those listed in the accompanying chart. In these places translators insert the indefinite article "a" before the predicate noun in order to bring out the quality or characteristic of the subject. Since the indefinite article is inserted before the predicate noun in such texts, with equal justification the indefinite article "a" is inserted before the anarthrous "the-os'", in the predicate of John 1:1 to make it read "a" god. The Sacred Scriptures Confirm the correctness of this rendering.

In his article "Qualitative Anarthrous Predicate Nouns: Mark 15: 39 and John 1:1," published in Journal of Biblical Literature, Vol. 92, Philadelphia, 1973, on p. 85 Philip B. Harner said that such clauses as the one in John l:1, "with an arthrous predicate preceding the verb, are primarily qualitative in meaning. They indicate that the logos has the nature of "the-os'". There is no basis for regarding the predicate "the-os'" as definite." On p. 87 of his article, Dr. Harner concluded: "In John 1:1 I think that the qualitative force of the predicate is so prominent that the noun cannot be regarded as definite."

Following is a list of instances in the gospels of Mark and John where various translators have rendered singular anarthrous predicate nouns occurring. before the verb with an indefinite article to denote the indefinite and qualitative status of the subject nouns, check the following Bibles for the following scriptures:

Scriptures, Mark 6:49, Mark 11:32, John 4:19, John 6:70, John 8:44, John 9:17,John 10:1, John 10:13, John 10:33, John 12:6, John 18:37 in the following translations, New World Translation (NWT), Authorized King James Bible (AV), New International Version (NIV), Revised Standard Version (RSV), and Today's English Version (TEV).

CONCLUSION:

Now many so called Christians point to John 1:1 to try and prove that Jesus (Yeshua) and his Father, Almighty God (YHWH) are one spirit being, an impossibility as one can NOT both be the son and the father at the same time as we all know. They use things to cloud the issue such as things are different in heaven or those are the words of men. In doing so they clearly forget that God (YHWH) used over 40 faithful man through divine inspiration to write the Bible as scribes that took the thoughts of men under divine inspiration and put them in the words of men so we could understand. Yet many biased translations say Jesus (Yeshua) is God (YHWH)such as the Authorized King James Bible (AV), "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." But even the translational constructs clearly show the bias and the error in translating John 1:1 this way. How so? Well as a starter, one can NOT be with someone and also be that someone, that is an impossibility. But getting past that, even if one is to accept this error there is yet another impossibility. What is it? To have a Trinity, one must have three of a kind, and no matter how you translate John 1:1 there is NO three of a kind, nor for that matter three of anything.

The first-century Christian congregation in Colossae was under attack! Some within the congregation were creating divisions by promoting adherence to the Mosaic Law. Many claim the Bible has errors, but what they claim are errors are in reality errors with respect to our understanding and NOT God's word. Here is one example of something many claimed to be an error, but later archeological findings proved it was only an error in our understanding and not the Bible.

Although the word "pim" occurs only once in the Bible. In the days of King Saul, the Israelites had to get their metal tools sharpened by Philistine smiths. "The price for sharpening proved to be a pim for the plowshares and for the mattocks and for the threetoothed instruments and for the axes and for fixing fast the oxgoad," states the Bible. -1 Samuel 13:21.

What was a pim? The .answer to that question remained a mystery until 1907 C.E. when the first pim weight stone was excavated at the ancient city of Gezer. Bible translators of earlier dates had difficulty translating the word "pim." The King James Version, for example, rendered 1 Samuel 13:21: "Yet they had a file for the mattocks, and for the coulters, and for the forks, and for the axes, and to sharpen the goads."

Scholars today know that a" pim was a weight measure averaging 7.82 grams, or approximately two thirds of a shekel, the basic Hebrew unit of weight. A pim measure of silver scrap was the price the Philistines charged the Israelites for sharpening their tools. The shekel weight system went out of use with the fall of the kingdom of Judah and its capital, Jerusalem, in 607 B.C.E. So how does the pim measure testify to the historicity of the Hebrew text?

Some scholars, Muslim and pseudo Christians infidels of the past to whom truth was of no importance, hence unbelievers, used to argue that the texts of the Hebrew Scriptures, including the book of I First Samuel, dated to the Hellenistic-Roman era, even as late as from the second to the first century B.C.E. They falsely claimed, therefore, that "they are. . . 'unhistorical,' of little or no value for reconstructing a 'biblical' or an 'ancient Israel,' both of which are simply modern Jewish and Christian literary constructs."

Referring to the pim measure mentioned at 1 Samuel 13:21, however, William G. Dever, professor of Near Eastern archaeology and anthropology, says: "[It] cannot possibly have been 'invented' by writers living in the Hellenistic-Roman period several centuries after these weights had disappeared and had been forgotten. In fact, this bit of biblical text. . . would not be understood until the early 20th century A.D., when the first actual archaeological examples turned up, reading pim in Hebrew." The professor continues: "If the biblical stories are all 'literary inventions' of the Hellenistic-Roman era, how did this particular story come to be in the Hebrew Bible? One may object, of course, that the pim incident is 'only a detail.' To be sure; but as is well known, 'history is in the details.'" .

Therefore, though many critics of all flavors have tried to discredit the Bible through items like the pim which was not really understood until archeological findings revealed the facts, the Bible, being the inspired word of God (YHWH) creator of heaven and earth is always correct even if our understanding may be incomplete and regardless of what infidel critics may say.

[2] MANY PLAY LOGOMACHY WITH "PRO-SKY-NE'O' IN TRANSLATION

INTRODUCTION:

Many play games with translation as the Koine Greek word, 'pro-sky-ne'o' can be translated various ways into English. The correct way of course is to let content govern how it is translated, but many translators translate it per their personal belief bias. Let's consider the facts by first looking at Matthew 14:33 from the Revised Standard Version (RSV), "And those in the boat worshiped him, saying, "Truly you are the Son of God."
But Matthew 4:10clearly says, "Then Jesus said to him, "Begone, Satan! for it is written, 'You shall worship the Lord your God and him only shall you serve.'" (RSV). Here we have an apparent contradiction as Matthew 16:16, "Simon Peter replied, "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God." (RSV) clearly identifies Jesus (Yeshua) as the Son of the true God (YHWH) of Abraham and NOT as his Father, the true God (YHWH) of Abraham.

Why this apparent contradiction, simple, because Trinitarian biased translators want to make it appear that the Father, true God (YHWH) of Abraham, and the Son, Jesus (Yeshua), are one and the same which they are NOT.

PRO-SKY-NE'O TECHNICAL MEANING:

The Koine Greek word, pro-sky-ne'o, can be rendered "worship" or "obeisance to" depending on context. This is clearly shown in "A Greek-English Lexicon of the New Testament and Other Early Christian Literature" which says, "used to designate the custom of prostrating oneself before a person and kissing his feet, the hem of his garment, the ground." [Source - A Greek-English Lexicon of the New Testament and Other Early Christian Literature by Bauer, Arndt, Gingrich, Danker; Second English Edition, Page 716, pub. 1979 in Chicago].

Now, this is the term used at Matthew 14:33, previously quoted, to show what the disciples did toward Jesus (Yeshua). At Hebrews 1:6, "And again, when he brings the first-born into the world, he says, "Let all God's angels worship him." (RSV); whereas, it is readily apparent that this scripture refers to rendering deference to Jesus (Yeshua) and NOT worship of the type that should only go to his Father, the true God (YHWH) of Abraham. So we can see how some translators rendered this in accordance to their bias and not to give a clear and accurate rendering.

However the Greek Septuagint at Genesis 22:5, In Koine Greek, "LXX, kai. Ei=pen Abraam toi/j paisi.n auvtou/ kaqi,sate auvtou/ meta. th/j o;nou evgw. de. kai. To. Paida,rion dieleuso,meqa e[wj w-de kai. Proskunh,santej avnastre,ywmen pro.j u`ma/j " (Greek Septuagint, LXX), and translated into English, "And Abraham said to his servants: "remain here with the donkey; the boy and I, will go over till there and after having prostrated ourselves we will return to you". Which shows the most common ancient usage of the word, but modern translations most often fail to capture the original meaning the writer gave to it as clearly shown due to their bias. The Revised Standard Version (RSV) renders it, "Then Abraham said to his young men, "Stay here with the ass; I and the lad will go yonder and worship, and come again to you." (RSV).

This is the same meaning, in context, ascribed to it at Genesis 23:7, and an Orthodox Church item says, "BOWING AND KISSING
a. In the Eastern cultures bowing is sign of humility before someone, or paying respect to someone. This is known to all from movies about Japanese customs. What about Scripture? Does the Bible have anything to say about bowing to people or objects and kissing things?
b. WWJD: What would Jesus do? If one reads the Babylonian Talmud (contemporary to Christ) it describes the feast of tabernacles and says the Jews prostrated to the ground and kissed the court floor of the Temple. Pious Jews still kiss the mezuzah (scroll containing shema and Shaddai on doorposts), fringe of prayer shawl, and phylacteries, the weeping wall, and the LAW during worship, (now we kiss the Gospel). We all know that Christianity grew out of Judaism. What was/is the Jewish practice regarding kissing "holy objects"? Jesus, as a Jew, practiced these same things, especially in the context of the Temple and Synagogue worship. We see parallels within the Orthodox practices toward sacred things. Also at 1 Kings 1:23 in the Greek Septuagint it discribes what the prophet Nathan did on approaching King David, "And they told the king, "Here is Nathan the prophet." And when he came in before the king, he bowed before the king, with his face to the ground." (RSV) where even the biased translator rendered, 'pro-sky-ne'o,' correct to context, since no doctrinal bias was here involved.

CONCLUSION:

As Matthew 4:10, previously quoted, clearly shows in this context, we must understand that it is 'pro-sky-ne'o' with a particular attitude of heart and mind that should be exclusively directed only toward the true God (YHWH) of Abraham as clearly stated by his Son, Jesus (Yeshua). Therefore, be not deceived by biased translations and/or plays on logomachy made by some who are followers of false doctrines. Interestingly, other translations render Matthew 14:33 more correctly such as New English Bible (NEB); "They then climbed into the boat; and the wind dropped. And the men in the boat fell at his feet, exclaiming, "Truly you are the Son of God." (NEB); and the New American Bible, ""Those who were in the boat did him homage, saying, "Truly, you are the Son of God." (NAB); The Jerusalem Bible, (JB),"The men in the boat bowed down before him and said, "Truly, you are the Son of God."" (JB). As can be seen this contrast greatly with the biased rendering in the Revised Standard Version (RSV), "And those in the boat worshiped him, saying, "Truly you are the Son of God." (RSV) so now all can see the bias translation of this scripture as found in most Bibles is just a bad translation.

At Genesis 1:26, “And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.” [AV] could be accomplished in a certain amount of time. But to continue to ‘have in subjection every living creature that is moving on the earth,’ Adam and Eve would need to live forever, Adam never having to abdicate his oversight by dying.

However, unfortunately Adam did not get the opportunity to carry out this commission as he disobeyed by braking the command given to him at Genesis 2:16 – 17, “And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.” [AV] .

Argan) is a genus of flowering plants containing the sole species Argania spinosa, known as argan, a tree endemic to the calcareous semidesert Sous valley of southwestern Morocco. Argan trees grow to 8–10 m (26–33 ft) high and live up to approximately 200 years. They are thorny, with gnarled trunks and wide spreading crown. The crown has a circumference of about 70 m (230 ft) and the branches lean towards the ground.
The leaves are small, 2–4 cm (0.79–1.57 in) long, and oval with a rounded apex. The flowers are small, with five pale yellow-green petals; flowering is in April. The fruit is 2–4 cm (0.79–1.57 in) long and 1.5–3 cm (0.59–1.18 in) broad, with a thick, bitter peel surrounding a sweet-smelling but unpleasantly flavored layer of pulpy pericarp. This surrounds the very hard nut, which contains one (occasionally two or three) small, oil-rich seeds. The fruit takes over a year to mature, ripening in June to July of the following year.

Name
The scientific name argania is derived from argan, the name of the tree in Tasussit, the Berber language which is spoken by the majority of the people living in the areas where the tree is endemic. Tasussit has a rich vocabulary for the various parts of the fruit, its stages of ripeness, and its harvesting and processing. The oil is also called argan. In medieval Arabic pharmacological sources, the tree is known as harj?n, a name which is also derived from Tasussit argan.
Cultivation

In Morocco, arganeraie forests now cover some 8,280 km2 (3,200 sq mi) and are designated as a UNESCO biosphere reserve. Their area has shrunk by about half during the last 100 years, due to charcoal-making, grazing, and increasingly intensive cultivation. The best hope for the conservation of the trees may lie in the recent development of a thriving export market for argan oil as a high-value product. However, the wealth brought by argan oil export has also created threats to argan trees in the form of increased goat population. Locals use the newfound wealth to buy more goats and the goats stunt the growth of the argan trees by climbing up and eating their leaves and fruit.[3]
Argan is grown in Israel, in the Arabah, and Negev.[4][5][6]
Uses
In some parts of Morocco, argan takes the place of the olive as a source of forage, oil, timber, and fuel in Berber society. Especially near Essaouira, the argan tree is frequently climbed by goats.[7]
Fruit
Argan fruit falls in July, when black and dry. Until this happens, goats are kept out of the argan woodlands by wardens. Rights to collect the fruit are controlled by law and village traditions. Argan oil is produced by several women's co-operatives in the southwestern parts of Morocco. The most labor-intensive part of oil-extraction is removal of the soft pulp (used to feed animals) and the cracking by hand, between two stones, of the hard nut. The seeds are then removed and gently roasted. This roasting accounts for part of the oil's distinctive, nutty flavor.[9]
The traditional technique for oil extraction is to grind the roasted seeds to paste, with a little water, in a stone rotary quern. The paste is then squeezed by hand to extract the oil. The extracted paste is still oil-rich and is used as animal feed. Oil produced this way can be stored and used for 3–6 months, and will be produced as needed in a family, from a store of the kernels, which will keep for 20 years unopened. Dry-pressing is becoming increasingly important for oil produced for sale, as this method allows for faster extraction, and the oil produced can be used for 12–18 months after extraction.[10]
The oil contains 80% unsaturated fatty acids, is rich in essential fatty acids, and is more resistant to oxidation than olive oil. Argan oil is used for dipping bread, on couscous, salads, and similar uses. A dip for bread known as amlou is made from argan oil, almonds, and peanuts, sometimes sweetened by honey or sugar. The unroasted oil is traditionally used as a treatment for skin diseases, and has become favoured by European cosmetics manufacturers.[11][12][13]

Argan oil is sold in Morocco as a luxury item. The product is of increasing interest to cosmetics companies in Europe. It used to be difficult to buy the oil outside Morocco, but since 2001–2002, it has become a fashionable product in Europe and North America.[citation needed] It is now widely available in specialist shops and occasionally in supermarkets. Its price (US$40–50 for 500 ml) is notable compared to other oils.[14]

However, the Bible the ultimate standard does NOT say anything about a former marriage so anything said on that is pure speculation. Let's look at what the ultimate standard, the Bible says:

Matthew 1:16, " and Jacob begat Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ." (American Standard Version; ASV), NOTICE no note of Joseph having been a widow.

Matthew 1:18, "Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When his mother Mary had been betrothed to Joseph, before they came together she was found with child of the Holy Spirit." (ASV).
Matthew 1:20, "But when he thought on these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit." (ASV).
Mark 6:3, "Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary, and brother of James, and Joses, and Judas, and Simon? and are not his sisters here with us? And they were offended in him." (ASV), NOTICE , it says his brothers and sisters, NOT, half-brothers and sisters.
Luke 1:27 , "to a virgin betrothed to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin's name was Mary." (ASV).

Obviously, thereby clearly showing that Muhammad had done something wrong. This was clearly an admission by a Muslim that Muhammed had skeletons in his proverbial closet, and incredibly he did this while throwing derogatory speculative charges at Joseph the husband of the virgin Mary. This clearly shows desperation on their part to throw derogatory comments at the Bible and true Christianity. In fact, other Muslims dredge up writings of so called Bible critics who are just individuals out to grandiose themselves and their own ego and get an audience and who care NOT about facts and realities. They insinuate that apparent contradictions, ones that without further investigation, are real contradictions and make other unfounded speculative charges.

The most ridicules part of the entire absurd scenario is the fact that Muhammad was a plagiarist who actually got his material for writing the Koran from the Bible and did not even do a good job of copying; hence, if the Bible had any errors, these would have been exponentially exacerbated in the Quran (Koran). Let's look at one example of a scripture copied from the Bible not too well and how confused Muslims who do not comprehend the Bible even thing the Bible original is saying something bad as they do not comprehend it is saying the same thing as the Quran (Koran) that Muhammad got his material from. In the writing, Muslims do Not Comprehend the Bible it shows this clearly, " Muslims clearly do not comprehend the Bible and see problems where there are none, and come to completely wrong conclusions. LUKE 1:35 VS. SURA 3:47:

Let's first look at what the Quran (Koran) says at Sura 3:47:

Sura 3:47, "She said, "My Lord, how can I have a son, when no man has touched me?" He said, "GOD thus creates whatever He wills. To have anything done, He simply says to it, `Be,' and it is."

And, Sura 3:48 says, ""He will teach him the scripture, wisdom, the Torah, and the Gospel." Interestingly here the Quran (Koran) actually speaks of the first five (5) books of the Bible, the Torah; yet today many Muslims rail against the Bible from which their book the Quran (Koran) was plagiarized from.

Now the Bible says at Luke 1:35, "And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Spirit shall come upon thee, and the power of the Most High shall overshadow thee: wherefore also the holy thing which is begotten shall be called the Son of God." (American Standard Version; ASV).

Interestingly although both the Quran's (Koran's) 'Be' and the Bible's (in some translations only) overshadow both refer to exactly the same thing, but use different words, some Muslims do not comprehend this and think overshadow has bad connotations. Both these passages refer to God's (YHWH) using his active force or power referred to in the Bible as Spirit or Holy Spirit to implant the life force of his only begotten Son, that we know as Jesus (Yeshua) into the womb of the virgin Mary as recorded in Matthew 1:18-25, "Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When his mother Mary had been betrothed to Joseph, before they came together she was found with child of the Holy Spirit. 19 And Joseph her husband, being a righteous man, and not willing to make her a public example, was minded to put her away privily. 20 But when he thought on these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit. 21 And she shall bring forth a son; and thou shalt call his name JESUS; for it is he that shall save his people from their sins. 22 Now all this is come to pass, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying, 23 Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, And they shall call his name Immanuel; which is, being interpreted, God with us. 24 And Joseph arose from his sleep, and did as the angel of the Lord commanded him, and took unto him his wife; 25 and knew her not till she had brought forth a son: and he called his name JESUS." (ASV). Now some may not understand just what this force or power of God (YHWH) is so here is a brief explanation.

A brief consideration on and reasoning on Acts 10:19-20; Acts 16:6; Acts 13:2-4; Acts 15:28; Romans 8:14; Romans 8:26; Ephesians 4:30; and 1 Corinthians 2:10-12 will show that the Spirit or Holy Spirit is God's (YHWH's) active force or power and emanates from him and is a force completely controlled by him, and is capable of giving him feedback and gathering for him information.

But first let's see why the Spirit is indeed God's (YHWH's) active force or power from an understanding of the ancient word 'pneu'ma' translated Spirit or Holy Spirit in English. The neuter Koine Greek word for spirit (pneu'ma) is used with the neuter pronoun "it" since it is lacks gender. This fact is conveniently over looked or hidden by most Trinitarian translators of the Bible as admitted in the "New American Bible Catholic Bible," regarding John 14:17: "The Greek word for 'Spirit' is neuter, and while we use personal pronouns in English ('he,' 'his,' 'him'), most Greek MSS [manuscripts] employ 'it.'" So when the Bible uses masculine personal pronouns in connection with pa·ra'kle·tos at John 16:7, 8, it is conforming to rules of grammar, not expressing a doctrine. And in Ancient Hebrew the word here rendered Holy Ghost, Holy Spirit, or Spirit which is translated from 'ru'ach' meaning "breath; wind; spirit." In Latin, it is spiritus, and in Sanskrit, 'prana' which means both "breath" and "spirit." And the pertinent definition in the Funk & Wagnalls Standard College Dictionary (ISBN 0-308-10309-2 and 0-308-10310-6) clearly states, (4) <Often Cap.> In the Bible, the creative, animating power or divine influence of God...[etymology-[<Old French, 'espirit' <Latin, 'spiritus' bredth, spirit <'spirare' to breathe]. So we can see it, the Holy Spirit or Spirit is truly God's (YHWH's) active force or power and not a spirit being as are Almighty God (YHWH) and his Son, Jesus (Yeshua). This point is very well made in the New International Version at Luke 1:35, "The angel answered, "The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called[1] the Son of God." (The New International Version; NIV). Sure shows that the Holy Spirit is nothing but God's (YHWH's) active force.

Now from the study of science and technology we know that with respect a force there can be four possibilities or possibly five applicable questions, which are as follows:

(1) Is it an uncontrolled force?

(2) Is it a controlled force?

(3) Is it controlled, but without feedback?

(4) Is it controlled, but with feedback?

Is it direct or indirect feedback?

However 1 Corinthians 2:10-12 shows it to be a controlled force with feedback that appears to be direct feedback, "But unto us God revealed [them] through the Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. 11 For who among men knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of the man, which is in him? even so the things of God none knoweth, save the Spirit of God. 12 But we received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is from God; that we might know the things that were freely given to us of God." (American Standard Version; ASV), clearly showing that the "spirit which is from God," and God "revealed [them] through the Spirit," and uses it to search all things, thus showing it is a controlled spirit capable of feedback. God (YHWH) has complete control over his power or force and can choose its fields of operations as testified to at Romans 8:14, "For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God." (ASV) clearly showing he can use to lead individuals and that it belongs to him. And John 16:13 clearly shows it as a force, "Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he shall guide you into all the truth: for he shall not speak from himself; but what things soever he shall hear, these shall he speak: and he shall declare unto you the things that are to come." Since it is quite clear that it is a controlled force, "shall not speak from himself; but what things soever he shall hear, these shall he speak,"

Clearly it is a controlled force used by God (YHWH) to do many things as testified to at Acts 10:19-20, "While Peter was meditationg on the vision, the Spirit said to him, 'There are two men looking for you. 20 Get up and go down, and without hesitation go on with them, for I have sent them.'" (The New Testament by Charles B. Williams); And the fact that it is a closely controlled force is further affirmed at Acts 16:6, "And the Spirit bade me go with them, making no distinction. And these six brethren also accompanied me; and we entered into the man's house:" (ASV); And at Acts 13:2-4, "And as they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Spirit said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them. 3 Then, when they had fasted and prayed and laid their hands on them, they sent them away. 4 So they, being sent forth by the Holy Spirit, went down to Seleucia; and from thence they sailed to Cyprus." (ASV); And at Acts 15:28, "For it seemed good to the Holy Spirit, and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things:" (ASV) clearly indicating direct feedback to and response by God (YHWH); which is further shown by Ephesians 4:30, "And grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, in whom ye were sealed unto the day of redemption" (ASV) which once more indicates that is gives direct feedback and it reacts to the feelings of God (YHWH) from which it emanates thus a tightly controlled force or power.

As can be seen from an examination of the various different translational constructs used for Hebrews 11:1, they although the wording in English and Latin varies a little all are in effect testifying to the same fact, as expressed so well by " "1 But Faith is a Basis of things hoped for, a Conviction of things unseen.". Also, the above was done in a writing form I have coined as "Pure' Sola Scriptura" in Latin or literally meaning in English, pure only scripture, and the reason for this name for this writing style used above should be readily clear to all readers as it consist of mostly pure scripture; whereas, regular 'Sola Scriptura' writing to be called that by most definitions only has to be about 50 percent pure scripture.

At this time King David was dealing with his rebellious son Absalom who sought to make himself king, and had to flee Jerusalem. have been the "very least" that Goodspeed could have done.
Why?
Because Goodspeed used the Westcott and Hort Greek text also in The
Bible-An American Translation. And if the word "me" in John
14:14 is
the secondary reading then according to Bowman Goodspeed should
have "at the very least" put a note in his work indicating
that he
followed this secondary, not the primary reading, of the Greek text
of Westcott and Hort.

> In 1984 the New World Translation was revised. The Greek text
that
was used for the portion that is the Christian Greek Scriptures or
the so-called New Testament was said to be not only based on Westcott
and Hort, Nestle, Bover and Merk but now others. Now,Bowman,if I can

omitted
this word, but most of the earlier ones included it, and most modern

in this place in the Greek. They are: Codex Alexandrius(5th

Old Latin Versions(2nd to 4th century.) Against this reading the note
informs us those manuscripts that do contain the the word
"me." They
are:Papyrus Bodmer 2(c.200 A.D.);Codex Sinaiticus(4th
century);Vatican Ms 1209(4th century);Freer Gospels(5th
century);Latin Vulgate by Jerome(c 400 A.D.);Philoxenian-Harclean
Syriac Version(6th and 7th century);Syriac Peshitta,Christian Aramaic
(5th century).
> However,the note also says that the reading without the word
"me"
in John 14:14 is in agreement with 15:16 and 16:23 of John. If it is
so that Jesus did say "Ask me anything..." in 14:14 then he
contradicted himself later in 15:16 and 16:23 where he is reported to

the
Father in my name he might give it to you" and "And in that
day you
will ask me no question at all. Most truly I say to you,If you ask

This verse is one that has fallen to some textual
corruption/variation.
Alexandrinus, Codez Bezae, K, L, 041, 044 and the Byzantine omit it,
as do the following Bibles:

(CEV) I will do whatever you ask me to do.

(LITV) If you ask anything in My Name, I will do it.

(MKJV) If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.

(WEB) If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it.

(ASV) If ye shall ask anything in my name, that will I do.

(KJV) If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

here we see Saul participating in the murder of a disciple of Jesus, Stephen, a heinous evil crime, but the Bible shows at Acts 9:1 – 21 showed how Jesus himself turned Saul into the Apostle Paul, and did not consider his past course of life from preventing him from becoming one of His Apostles, “ But Saul, still breathing threats and murder against the disciples of the Lord, went to the high priest 2 and asked him for letters to the synagogues at Damascus, so that if he found any belonging to the Way, men or women, he might bring them bound to Jerusalem. 3 Now as he journeyed he approached Damascus, and suddenly a light from heaven flashed about him. 4 And he fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to him, "Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me?" 5 And he said, "Who are you, Lord?" (2) HATE A REAL WORLD PROBLEM TODAY AND WHEN JESUS (YESHUA) WAS ON EARTH

HATE IS EVIL AS MADE CLEAR AT 1 John 3:14, 15), “We know that we have passed over from death to life, because we love the brothers. The one who does not love remains in death. 15 Everyone who hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has everlasting life remaining in him.” (New World Translation revised; (New World Translation revised; NWTR))

AND AT Leviticus 19:17, 18, “‘You must not hate your brother in your heart. You should by all means reprove your fellow man, so that you will not bear sin along with him. 18 “‘You must not take vengeance nor hold a grudge against the sons of your people, and you must love your fellow man as yourself. I am Jehovah.” (NWTR)

BUT NOT ALL HATING IS EVIL AS SHOWN AT Psalm 97:10, "O you who love Jehovah, hate what is bad. He is guarding the lives of his loyal ones; He rescues them from the hand of the wicked. (NWTR)
AND AT Romans 12:9, "Let your love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is wicked; cling to what is good." (NWTR)

ALSO, HATING IS SHOWN BY MAKING FALSE STATEMENTS AGAINST OTHERS AS SHOWN AT Proverbs 10:20, "The tongue of the righteous one is like the finest silver, But the heart of the wicked one is worth little." (NWTR)
AND AT Proverbs 8:13, "The fear of Jehovah means the hating of bad. I hate self-exaltation and pride and the evil way and perverse speech." (NWTR)

YES OVE IS NEEDED INSTEAD OF HATE AS SHOWN AT Proverbs 10:12, "Hatred is what stirs up contentions, But love covers over all transgressions" (NWTR).
AND AT 1 John 4:7, " Beloved ones, let us continue loving one another, because love is from God, and everyone who loves has been born from God and knows God." (NWTR)

YES LOVE IS THE OPPOSITE OF HATE, BUT IT DOES IN NO WAY IMPLY THAT INDIVIDUALS CAN NOT HAVE DIFFERENCES OF OPINIONS, BUT ONLY THEY SHOULD NOT TURN TO HATING AND WISHING ILL ON THOSE THEY DIFFER WITH.

LET'S LOOK AT AN INTERESTING BIBLE PASSAGE SHOWING PURE HATE BY THOSE WHO DIFFERED WITH JESUS (YESHUA) WITH RESPECT A HEALING ON THE SABBATH Luke 6:9-11, "Then Jesus said to them: “I ask you men, Is it lawful on the Sabbath to do good or to do harm, to save a life or to destroy it?” 10 After looking around at them all, he said to the man: “Stretch out your hand.” He did so, and his hand was restored. 11 But they flew into a senseless rage, and they began to talk over with one another what they might do to Jesus." (NWTR)

A MODERN DAY EXAMPLE OF PURE HATE IS SHOWN SIMILAR TO THIS WITH RESPECT TO THE PRESIDENT OF AMERICA, DONALD TRUMP, AND THOSE WHO HATE HIM AND SEEK TO HURT HIM. HOW SO?

EXAMPLE 1 - When he nominated one justice for the supreme court, his haters brought up many evil objections and false nu-substantated charges, and even said the accusers of this nominee should be believed even if nothing could be substantiated. THE BIBLE CLEARLY SHOWS THE NEED FOR CREDIBLE ACCUSATIONS OF GUILT AT 1 Timothy 5:19, "Do not accept an accusation against an older man except on the evidence of two or three witnesses.," BUT THOSE HATING TRUMP WANTED HIS NOMINEE FOUND GUILTY ON NOTHING SUBSTANTIAL. [NOTE: i am not taking any stand with respect innocence or guilt, but only hate that was shown towards him]
[NOTES: First, there should be evidence and witnesses per John 8:16 - 17, “16 Yea and if I judge, my judgment is true; for I am not alone, but I and the Father that sent me.
17 Yea and in your law it is written, that the witness of two men is true.” (American Standard Version), but no witness came forward.
Second, One can fully turn his life around as shown by Saul, an accessory to the murder of Stephen as shown in Acts the 9 th. Chapter.
Third, It is important that all falsehood, wrong doctrine and thinking, etc. be exposed, and hate against fellow man be cleared from the hearts of men.]

EXAMPLE 2 - THIS PRESIDENT WANTED A WALL IN HIS WORDS TO PROTECT THE SOUTHERN BORDER OF AMERICA, BUT HIS HATERS WERE DETERMINED TO HURT HIM. THUS. WHEN HE TRIED TO MAKE AN END ROUND THEM THEY HATEFULLY BEGAN TO TALK OVER WITH ONE ANOTHER WHAT THEY MIGHT DO TO HURT HIM. [NOTE: i am not taking any stand with respect whether the wall should be built, but only striving to bring out how they are showing hate to him in violation of showing LOVE which they should be showing him].

SO IN CONCLUSION, I AM MAKING THE CASE FOR LOVE IN PLACE OF HATE IN ACCORDANCE WITH Malachi 1:2, “I have shown love to you people,” says Jehovah. But you say: “How have you shown us love?” “Was not E?sau the brother of Jacob?” declares Jehovah. “But I loved Jacob, 3 and E?sau I hated; and I made his mountains desolate and left his inheritance for the jackals of the wilderness.” (NWRT)

AND AT Proverbs 6:16-19, "There are six things that Jehovah hates; Yes, seven things that he detests: 17 Haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, 18 A heart plotting wicked schemes, and feet that run quickly to evil, 19 A false witness who lies with every breath, And anyone sowing contentions among brothers." (NWTR)

YES IN THIS TIME OF THE CONCLUSION OF THE END TIMES AS SHOWN AT Matthew 24:12, "and because of the increasing of lawlessness, the love of the greater number will grow cold." (NWTR)

AND REALITY SHOWS THAT THE THE OPPOSITE OF LOVE IS APATHY. PER Proverbs 10:12, "Hatred is what stirs up contentions, But love covers over all transgressions." (NWTR)

YES, WE SHOULD PER 1 John 4:7, " Beloved ones, let us continue loving one another, because love is from God, and everyone who loves has been born from God and knows God." ((New World Translation revised; NWTR))

ALL SHOULD PURGE THEIR HEARTS OF HATE AND RECOGNIZE A TRUTH STATED AT JOHN 4:8 – 10, “8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. 9 Herein was the love of God manifested in us, that God hath sent his only begotten Son into the world that we might live through him. 10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.” (American Standard Version; ASV)

[2] SOURCES OF ERROR IN TRANSLATION:

1) Homoioteleuton, "same ending." Perhaps the most common of all forms
of scribal error; almost all manuscripts contain at least a few
instances of it. Homoioteleuton occurs when two words/phrases/lines
end with the same sequence of letters. The scribe, having finished
copying the first, skips to the second, omitting all intervening
words. An English example of homoioteleuton might be the following
trivial instance:
Original reads "Pete went to the store. *_When he reached the
store_* he bought bread and milk." The scribe, skipping from the
first instance of "store" to the second, would write "Pete went to
the store he bought bread and milk."
Homoioteleuton is symbolized in the Nestle apparatus by the symbol
h.t. (which indicates either that a manuscript has a homoioteleuton
error or that a variant is or might be caused by homoioteleuton).

2) "The truth of the matter is that when dealing with religious
writings people are generally far less concerned with accuracy than
with traditional expression, familiar through long use." Toward a
Science of Translating by Eugene A. Nida, see example below;

Edited by Wayne E. Ward and Joseph F. Green, Published by Broadman
Press 1970, 159 pages.

It would be difficult to find a book written by a number of Baptists
that is more filled with heresy than this 159-page book. Broadman
Press and these "Baptist Leaders" have let go a broadside against
verbal inspiration. A close look will show just how far the
Southern Baptist Convention has gone in rejecting the inspired Word
of God. Of the fifteen authors, eight are pastors, five are from
five different Southern Baptist Seminaries, one is with the Baptist
Home Mission Board, and one is a former congressman and former
president of the Southern Baptist Convention. The editors say, "For
the first time, a cross section of recognized Baptist leaders spells
out what they really believe about the Bible . . . " These fifteen
men, from different areas of the SBC, undoubtedly represent the
growing liberal power in the SBC.

In the preface of the book it is stated, "These writers do not
necessarily agree with each other or with the editors on all points.
Each one has been completely free to deal with his topic in light of
his own understanding and conviction . . . Each contributor,
therefore, is responsible for his own chapter and cannot be held
responsible for any other part of the book."

The first paragraph printed on the jacket of the book reads as
follows:
"For the first time, a cross section of recognized Baptist leaders
spells out what they really believe about the Bible -- how God
inspired it, how it is different from other books, and how human
factors show up in it." It is stated in the preface "that the nature
of the Bible has been the topic of lively discussion among Southern
Baptists during the last ten years or so. This discussion, is so
lively today that it can be called a debate." It is clear after
reading this book, that only one side of the debate is given,
and the wrong side at that!

Lest we be accused of drawing the wrong conclusions, we shall give
many direct quotes from the book.

* Chapter 1, Could God Trust Human Hands?, by James Flamming, pastor
of First Baptist, Abilene, Texas.

(Page 9): He sees a contradiction in the accounts of creation in
Genesis 1 and 2. He prefers to believe that God did not dictate two
accounts. He contends that these stories were carried by word of
mouth until the days of David and Solomon, then were written down.

(Page 11): He accuses Mark of not cross checking his references. He
claims that Mark made mistakes in quoting from the Old Testament. He
says, "If God could use Mark with sixth grade grammar, and an
occasional misquote from the Old Testament, maybe he can use me
too!" On this page he also suggests that Mark's Gospel may be just a
summary of Simon Peter's preaching while in the city of Rome, and
that the mistakes may have been made by Peter and not Mark. Note
that this puts Peter in Rome, although there is not one verse of
Scripture or any reliable history that Peter ever was in Rome.
This is only Roman Catholic tradition!

(Page 17): Subhead: "Is Biblical Perfection Possible?" "This much is
sure: the Bible was not written by or for perfect people. Yet we are
often unwilling to accept God's stance of freedom and trust in an
imperfect world. We search for a perfect authority to cover our own
weakness or put it in another way, an 'untouched-by-human-weakness'
authority."

In his conclusion the author says: "The Bible is a divine-human
book. Erase the divine side of the equation, and you argue
against the witness of the centuries that the Bible is the Word of
God. (Incidentally, whether the Bible is the Word of God or contains
the Word of God seems to me just so much theological shadow boxing.)"

* Chapter 2, The Humanity of God, John R. Claypool, pastor, Crescent
Hill
Baptist Church, Louisville, KY.

He quotes favorably from Karl Barth and the "Interpreter's Bible."

(Page 27): He seems to find some kind of a contradiction between I
Sam. 8 where Israel demands a king, and I Sam. 9, where God chooses
Saul to be King. Of this event Mr. Claypool said: "What we have here
are obviously opposite interpretations on the same event. To assume
that a single Intelligence dictated both of those accounts makes a
mockery of any kind of rational understanding. On the basis of this
and many other conflicting accounts alone, many serious students of
the Bible have rejected the dictation theory and all of its claims
to literal infallibility and inerrancy. I join them in this
rejection, but for reasons deeper than errors in Scripture. The
nature of God who has power but is love is the crux of the issue for
me."

(Page 28): "The ultimate authority in a living religion can never
be something as static as a book or an institution or even a human
being . . . This is why it borders on the heretical to speak of the
Bible as the final authority in all matters of religion. This makes
the power of ultimacy out of God's free hands and posits it in a
form that men can manipulate and guarantee, and the biblical
name for such a practice is the sin of idolatry!"
(Page 29): "This is why the mistakes and errors and conflicting
opinions of the biblical record do not invalidate it for me but
rather testify to its authenticity."

(Page 30): "Is the Bible, then, a human book? By all means, the
answer is an affirmative one."

* Chapter 5, Words, Parables, And Pictures, Scott L. Tatum, pastor,
Broadmore Baptist, Shreveport, LA.

(Page 51): "The New Testament is a collection of the writings of
human beings. In spiritual experience, these writings have been
discovered to be divine."

(Page 53): "When Paul wrote letters to the people in whom he was
interested, he did not realize that later generations would regard
his writings as sacred Scripture. He was expressing himself as a
missionary friend, a gospel preacher, and a fellow human being. His
letters were very personal -- warmly human, like Jesus."

* Chapter 7, Stories That Teach, Wayne E. Ward, professor of
Christian
Theology, Southern Baptist Seminary, Louisville, KY.

His entire chapter seems to be establishing the thought that the
Bible records of creation, and the fall were stories.

(Page 79): Under subhead, "The Historical References in
These 'Stories' that Teach" the author says: "One more important
point should be considered
in these 'stories that teach,' especially these great stories of
creation, sin, and judgment in Genesis. They are clearly NOT
straight forward historical narratives like the records of the kings
of Judah and Israel, or even the accounts of the patriarchs, or the
Exodus, or the crucifixion of Jesus."

(Page 78): "Some people are determined to make the 'serpent' in
Genesis 3 a
literal snake . . . such interpreters insist on taking the tree of
knowledge of good and evil literally, and even spend pages debating
whether it was an apple, a pomegranate, or some other fruit.
Obviously, the 'tree of knowledge of good and evil' is a moral name,
not an actual fruit tree." It should be obvious that this kind of
interpretation is modernistic to the core. Once you have explained
away the serpent and the tree, it is only one more step to explain
away Eve, the garden and the fall of man. This is exactly what many
do with this passage.

* Chapter 9. the Bible And Human Science, John M. Lewis, pastor,
First
Baptist Church, Raleigh, N.C.

(Page 96): "Many Bible students recognize that there are two
accounts of creation in Genesis. The first, from 1:1 to 2:4a,
appears to have been written later than the second, which is from
2:4b to 2:25. The older account in Genesis 2 is more primitive and
childlike in its concepts and
picturizations of God. Here man is created before any other living
creatures. But the stories were not given as a scientific account of
creation as such. If one tries to take these accounts as literal
scientific truth he does violence to the real intent of the Bible
itself. If one attempts this, which account is to be taken as
scientifically accurate, Genesis 1 or 2? The order is exactly
opposite in each. Both cannot be
scientifically accurate at the same time."

* Chapter 13, What The Bible Means To Me, Brooks Hays, former
President of Southern Baptist Convention, former U.S. Congressman
from the state of Arkansas.
(Page 131): "To avoid being guilty of ignoring my own exhortations
against uncritical treatment of the Bible, I must say at the outset
that I do not accept all of the Bible as literally true. (I do not
believe, for example, that God ever ordered the slaughter of one's
enemies.) I do accept it as the Christian's authority for faith and
conduct. It is part, but not the whole, of God's revelation of His
will . . . " (Page 134): On this page Mr.
Hays says of "literalists who claim 'verbal inerrancy' of the
writings . . . this is antibiblical -- for it tends to make an idol
of printed pages. Bibliolatry is as dangerous as any other form of
idolatry.""

3) Human desire to make the Bible conform to one's way of thinking.

Bill Mounce had requested Grudem and CBMW to remove his name from
the list of scholars who had signed the early "Statement of Concern"
and the CBMW had not done that in a timely manner.
6 weeks after his initial request, CBMW has removed his name
from the list of scholars who signed the "Statement of Concern."
Bill made his request after listening to the three hour panel
discussion of the issues at ETS last November in Toronto. As a
result of discussion, he decided that even though he does not like
the TNIV (Today's New International Version), the Statements use of
words like "troubling ... inaccuracies ... distortions" carried
connotations he was not
comfortable with. He also told me that his initial opposition to the
TNIV was more an opposition to functional equivalence than its
handling of gender language.

This is the STATEMENT:
"Statement of Concern about the TNIV Bible

Recently, the International Bible Society (IBS) and Zondervan
Publishing announced their joint decision to publish a new
translation of the Bible, known as Today's New International Version
(TNIV). The TNIV makes significant changes in the gender language
that is in the NIV. The TNIV raises more concern in this regard than
previous Bible versions because, riding on the reputation of the
NIV, the TNIV may vie for a place as the church's commonly accepted
Bible. We believe that any commonly accepted Bible of the church
should be more faithful to the language of the original.

We acknowledge that Bible scholars sometimes disagree about
translation methods and about which English words best translate the
original languages. We also agree that it is appropriate to use
gender-neutral expressions where the original language does not
include any male or female meaning. However, we believe the TNIV has
gone beyond acceptable translation standards in several important
respects:

The TNIV translation often changes masculine, third person, singular
pronouns (he, his and him) to plural gender-neutral pronouns. For
example, in Revelation 3:20, the words of Jesus have been changed
from "I will come in and eat with him, and he with me" to "I will
come in and eat with them, and they with me." Jesus could have used
plural pronouns when He spoke these words, but He chose not to. (The
original Greek pronouns are singular.) In hundreds of such changes,
the TNIV obscures any possible significance the inspired singular
may have, such as individual responsibility or an individual
relationship with Christ.

The TNIV translation obscures many biblical references
to "father," "son," "brother," and "man." For example, in Hebrews
12:7, the NIV says "Endure hardship as discipline; God is treating
you as sons. For what son is not disciplined by his father?" But the
TNIV translates Hebrews 12:7, "Endure hardship as discipline; God is
treating you as his children. For what children are not disciplined
by their parents?" The reference to God as Father is lost. In
numerous other verses male-oriented meanings that are present in the
original language are lost in the TNIV.

The TNIV translation inserts English words into the text whose
meaning does not appear in the original languages. For example, in
Luke 17:3, the translators changed "If your brother sins, rebuke
him" to "If any brother or sister sins against you, rebuke the
offender." The problem is, the word "sister" is not found in the
original language, nor is "against you," nor is 'offender.'

Thus, in hundreds of verses, the TNIV changes language with
masculine meaning in the original Greek to something more generic.
It does this in many ways, such as changing

"father" (singular) to "parents";

"son" (singular) to "child" or "children";

"brother" (singular) to "someone" or "brother or sister,"
and "brothers" (plural) to "believers";

"man" (singular, when referring to the human race) to "mere mortals"
or "those" or "people";

"men" (plural, when referring to male persons) to "people"
or "believers" or "friends" or "humans";

"he/him/his" to "they/them/their" or "you/your" or "we/us/our"; and

switching hundreds of whole sentences from singular to plural.

We wonder how the TNIV translators can be sure that this masculine
language in God's very words does not carry meaning that God wants
us to see.

Gender problems are not the only serious problems with the TNIV. For
example: How do the TNIV translators know that changing "Jews"
to "Jewish leaders," for example in Acts 13:50 and 21:11, does not
make a false claim, and obscure a possible corporate meaning? How do
they know that changing "saints" to "those" in Acts 9:13 or
to "believers" in Acts 9:32 or to "God's people" in Romans 8:27 does
not sacrifice precious connotations of holiness which the Greek word
carries? To justify translating "saints" as "believers" because it
refers to believers is like justifying translating "sweetheart"
as "wife" because that's who it refers to.

Because of these and other misgivings, we cannot endorse the TNIV as
sufficiently trustworthy to commend to the church. We do not believe
it is a translation suitable for use as a normal preaching and
teaching text of the church or for a common memorizing, study, and
reading Bible of the Christian community."

4) Incorrectly assigning infallibility to any translator.
It would be absurd to call any translation "inerrant". (Incapable of
erring; infallible. Containing no errors.) That would clearly imply
divine inspired guidance.
One (flawed) way to argue against something is to exaggerate what
you're arguing against and then criticize the exaggerated version.
This appears to have happened here.

[2] Aristotelia chilensis - Maqui Berry

Aristotelia chilensis, known as maqui or Chilean wineberry, is a tree species in the Elaeocarpaceae family native to South America in the Valdivian temperate rainforests of Chile and adjacent regions of southern Argentina. Limited numbers of these trees are cultivated in gardens for their small fruits, known as maqui berries. Most of the fruits commercially marketed come from the wild.

Description
A. chilensis is a small dioecious evergreen tree that can reach 4 to 5 metres (13 to 16 ft) in height. Its divided trunk has a smooth bark. Its branches are abundant, thin and flexible. Its leaves are simple, opposite, hanging, oval-lanceolate, naked and coriaceous, with serrated edges. The leaf venation is highly visible, and the leaf stalk is a strong red color.
In the beginning of spring, the tree sheds the old cohort, which is used as a carbohydrate source to form the new leaves and flowers.[2]

Flowers and berries
When A. chilensis flowers at the end of spring, the white flowers are unisexual and small, but they eventually yield a small edible fruit. The small purple-black berries that form are approximately 4 to 6 millimetres (0.16 to 0.24 in) in diameter and contain 4 to 8 angled seeds. A seven-year-old tree can produce up to 10 kilograms (22 lb) of berries per year. With fruit that tastes similar to blackberries, the species is known as the Chilean wineberry, and locally in Spanish as maqui or maque.

Distribution
A. chilensis is native to Chile and Argentina near the southwest coast of South America.[1] It is found naturally in Chilean rainforests. Its native area includes the Coquimbo and Aysén regions of Chile, and is 170,000 hectares (420,000 acres) in total.[3]

Ecology
Maqui berries are a favored food for birds at the end of summer. Deforestation of the Valdivian temperate rainforests in Chile suppresses seed dispersal by birds and leads to inbreeding depression.[4]

Harvesting and cultivation
The berries of A. chilensis are collected from wild plants from December to March of each year by families, mainly Mapuche, who collect their harvest near the Andes Mountains. The harvesting process involves collecting the side branches of trees, shaking them to separate the berries and leaves from the branches, and then employing a mechanical process to separate the berries from the leaves.
The stored fruits are sold in local markets, with prices ranging from $6.5 to $15 per kilogram ($2.9 to $6.8/lb). The average area yield is about 220 kilograms (490 lb) per hectare annually, with an estimated yearly total of only 90 short tons (180,000 lb),[citation needed] due to remote access and difficulty for transportation.

A. chilensis is planted in home gardens and is not grown on an orchard scale. Most of the fruits on the market come from the wild. Maqui is frost sensitive and fairly tolerant of maritime exposure. It prefers a well-drained soil in full sun, but with some protection against cold, drying winds. The soil should be slightly acidic with moderate fertility.[5]
A. chilensis can be planted in USDA zones 8 to 12. It is cultivated in Spain, and in milder, moister areas of Britain, where winter frosts reduce plant stock, thereby stimulating growth of more shoots in spring.[6]

Propagation
Seeds of A. chilensis germinate without cold stratification. In zones with the possibility of frost, it is recommended to sow in spring in a greenhouse. If they have grown enough, by autumn, the new plants can be planted into individual pots . The potted plants should stay in the greenhouse for the first winter.
The following year, after the last expected frost in spring, the plants can be planted out into their final positions. In their first winter outdoors, some type of frost protection is required.[7] For further propagation, vegetal reproduction is possible: cuttings of wood with a length of 15 to 30 centimetres (5.9 to 11.8 in) can be planted into pots. These cuttings normally root, and can be planted out in the following spring.[8]
Anthocyanin content
Only limited polyphenol research has been completed on the maqui berry, which showed its anthocyanin content to include eight glucoside pigments of delphinidin and cyanidin, with the principal anthocyanin being delphinidin 3-sambubioside-5-glucoside (34% of total anthocyanins).[9][10] The average total anthocyanin content was 138 milligrams (2.13 gr) per 100 grams (3.5 oz) of fresh fruit, or 212 milligrams (3.27 gr) per 100 grams (3.5 oz) of dry fruit,[10] ranking maqui berries low among darkly pigmented fruits for anthocyanin content (see table at anthocyanins). One study found that anthocyanins are also present in maqui leaves.[11]

[2] THE BIBLE IS GOD'S (YHWH'S) WRITTEN WORD TO HUMANKIND. He used some 40 different inspired men as secretaries over a period of 16 centuries to record it. Why?

God (YHWH) actively directed the writing by his spirit, thus it is inspired by God. A large portion of the record is made up of actual pronouncements made by God (YHWH) and details as to the teachings and activities of his Son, Jesus (Yeshua) Christ, the Son of God. In these we find statements of God's (YHWH's) requirements for his faithful followers, and what his grand purpose for the earth actually is. He, God (YHWH) intended it to be his directions and record of past events for the guidance of all obedient mankind.

To heighten our appreciation for these things, our God (YHWWH) preserved the Bible as a record demonstrating what has occurred in the past to nations and individuals, both those who listened to him and those who did not. He also explained his purpose, as well as the outcome if ones do not follow his way. Thus, by means of this reliable historical record, God (YHWH) makes known to us his dealings with humankind and thus with his own marvelous personality.

WHY THE BIBLE?

The Bible was intended by God (YHWH) to enable all mankind to better understand the purpose of life and where it came from per Acts 17:24-26, " God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands; 25 Neither is worshipped with men's hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things; 26 And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;"(Rothrham Bible Translation; RBT). It also answers the question of why we are here, and similar items, open your Bibles and read, Genesis 1:27-28; Romans 5:12; Psalms 37:11; Psalms 40:8.

The shows us how we can have the things that lovers of righteousness most want. It tells us where to find wholesome associates who truly love one another per John 13:35," By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another."(RBT), and can give assurance that we will have his good favor and be aided by him per Matthew 6:31-33; Proverbs 19:15; Ephesians 4:28; etc.

It explains his purpose to set up his kingdom, God's (YHWH's) over all the earth and his plan to remove the present wicked system per Daniel 2:44, " And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever."(RBT) which all his true followers support. Under the rule of this kingdom, under his son, Jesus (Yeshua) Christ, all will enjoy perfect health and eternal life per Revelation 21:3-4; and Isaiah 33:24.

EVIDENCE OF INSPIRATION AND IT ONLY FOR DIRECTION OF ALL OF OBEDIENT MANKIND:

Let's look at 2 Peter 1:20-21, " Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. 21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost."(RBT).

Also, the fulfillment of countless prophecies, many made centuries in advance, prove its divine inspiration. For examples, go to your own Bible and read Isaiah 44:24-28; 45:1-4; and you will see a prophecy about Cyrus centuries before he was born that was fulfilled in 539 BC when he overthrew Babylon, yet was written by Isaiah in 732 BC. For details from secular sources on this, see "The Encyclopedia Americana 1956, Volume III, Page 9; the "Light from the Ancient Past," Princeton, 1959, by Jack Finegan, Pages 227-229; etc.

The prophecy of Jeremiah 49:17-18 that said that Edom would become a ruin an and astonishment. It was fulfilled when Judas Maccabeaus in 109 BC extended the kingdom of Judah to include the former Edomitic lands.

Jesus's (Yeshua's) prophecy that Jerusalem would be overthrown and a fortification of pointed stakes would encircle it found at Luke 19:41-44; Luke 21:20-21; etc. which of course occurred. See "the Jewish War," by F. Josephus as published by Penguin Classics, 1969, page 167; "Ecclesiastical History," by Eusebius Pamphilus and translated into English by C.F. Cruse, London, 1894, page 75; "The Bible and Archaeology," J. S. Thompson, page 299; and many other works for details.

ALL THIS CLEAR EVIDENCE THAT THE BIBLE WAS DIVINELY INSPIRED AND INTENDED AS GOD'S GUIDE FOR US TODAY:

Many contend this or that book or pronouncement is God's (YHWH's) direction for us, but any quick observation and use of a little common sense clearly shows that the Bible is the Standard, and God (YHWH) intended it that way when he started to inspire men to write it in 1513 BC with Moses. All the Jewish prophets recognized the then completed part of the Bible as God's (YHWH's) direction for mankind.

In addition, all recognized Bible canons always place the Book of Revelations last recognizing it as the closing of inspired writings even though technically speaking it was NOT the last book of the Bible to be written. This is true of all major Protestant, Messianic Jewish, Orthodox, and Catholic Bibles and their respective canons. This fact was recognized by the greatest Catholic Bible Translator, Jerome, who was one of the outstanding Bible translators of all times. Why so, simple, look at Revelation 22:18-19 which testifies to it being the closing of the Bible, " For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: 19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book."(RBT). No other book of the Bible contains such a closing; therefore, this shows this was intended by the Apostle John, under divine inspiration to be the closing of the inspired revelations until after the culmination of the end times, and was recognized by almost all independent Bible commentators and researchers since the first century.

The Gospel of Judas is NOT an Inspired Writing of the Bible. Let's look at the facts with respect Aprocypha Books such as the Gospel of Judas.

THE APROCYPHA OR DEUTERCANONICAL BOOKS:

First, let's consider what they are as defined by the Columbia Encyclopedia, sixth edition, by Columbia University Press. This encyclopedia defines the Apocrypha as, "(pk´rf) (KEY) [Gr.,=hidden things], term signifying a collection of early Jewish writings excluded from the canon of the Hebrew scriptures. It is not clear why the term was chosen." In reality they were nothing but uninspired writings, many purporting to be written by other than who was actually their author, or basically illegitimate and lacking credence. In fact, the real author of only one of the Apocrypha is actually known. Some religions, unfortunately, have included some of the Apocrypha in their Bibles, but even these were few in number. As can be seen many of these none illegitimate books try to give themselves credence by closely mimicking the names of actual legitimate canonical books of the Bible. These books are often called the pseudepigrapha? The term is a transliteration of the Greek plural noun that literally means "with false superscription". According to Webster's Third New International Dictionary (p. 1830), the term can be defined as, "spurious works purporting to emanate from biblical characters". The Random House Unabridged Dictionary of the English Language defines the term as, "Certain writings (other than the canonical books and the Apocrypha) professing to be Biblical in character, but not considered canonical or inspired. These are NOT lost books, just NOT legitimate books of Bible cannon.

THE EXTERNAL BOOKS QUOTED IN THE BIBLE:

There are many external books quoted by inspired Bible writers as references. Many are, "not aware that the Old Testament authors depended upon other writings as their sources which they freely admit. Among these are: the Book of the Wars of Yahweh (Num. 21:14), the Book of the Jashar (Josh 10:13; 2 Sam. 1:18), the Book of the Acts of Solomon (1 Ki 14:19; 2 Chr 33:18), the Book of the Annals of the Kings of Judah (1 Ki 14:29, 15:7), the Annals of Samuel the Seer (1 Chr 29:29), the History of Nathan the Prophet (2 Chr 9:29), the Annals of Shemaiah the Prophet and Iddo the Seer (2 Chr. 12:15), the Annals of Jehu the Son of Hanani (2 Chr. 20:34), and others. Some teach that Moses compiled the Book of Genesis from other writings that surely had to have been handed down and preserved by his forefathers. Genesis can be broken down into eleven separate history books, each being separated by colophons at the conclusion of the books. This is known to have been a popular style for such ancient writings. ...According to this theory we have eleven separate books having the following authors: Adam, Noah, and eight other authors which Moses merely compiled into one book. One of these books is still existent today, the Book of Jashar or as it is sometimes called the Book of the Just, and another, the Book of the Wars of Yahweh, is actually thought my most scholars to actually be the Book of Jashar. The Book of Jashar is quite interesting, but one must be careful in obtaining a copy as there are counterfeit books masquerading as the Book of Jashar which are not. Also, there is a counterfeit Book of the Wars of Yahweh which is of course a fake since as previously said, this book is thought to just be another name for the Book of Jashar.

THE 4 BOOKS OF MACCABEES:

This is by far the strangest case of all. The 4 Books of Maccabees are ranked by many as part of the Apocrypha; however, they should be ranked as history books of the 1 st. and 2 nd. Century roughly before the incarnation of our leader and savior, Jesus (Yeshua) Christ. Very strange is the fact that the Catholic church accepted only two of them into their Canon of Bible Books; whereas, there are four of them. The Greek Orthodox, however, accepted three of them, and only the Cathars accepted the fourth. Strange to say the least, but none should have been accepted as canonical as they are history books, and one would NOT THINK of accepting H. G. Wells, 'Outline of History," into the Bible cannon; we are getting into the absurd. However, they make excellent reading as history books that fill in the history of these two centuries.

WHAT IS AN INSPIRED BOOK?

First, The Bible is NOT the product of one committee or strongman. It has over 40 individual writers who wrote under divine inspiration/guidance putting the thoughts of God (YHWH) into the words of men much as transcribing secretaries today taking transcription and then later typing it out. In other words one real author, God (YHWH), and many scribes each of whom wrote in his own style over a period of approximately 1,600 years. All of what people call or consider inconsistencies are really not such, but most often just a problem of translation and/or understanding, i.e., lack of understanding of what the original writer writing in his own language and culture meant/said in his original writing. What is remarkable, is the writers over such a period of time all wrote in harmony when even most posters on threads on this forum can not even stay on track or subject over a period of a few days and/or weeks at most with the original subject of the thread. This fact of harmony over a period so great as to almost stagger the imagination shows that it had one guiding force or author who divinely inspired its writers as humans of their own volition can not keep on track over short periods of time.

Second, To wit, the Bible is the ONLY book God (YHWH) ever inspired men to write as his scribes. In other words, God is its author and men only put his thoughts given to them by divine inspiration into their own words, the words of men. Not only that, all the other writers of later so called religious guidance books borrowed from it and made changes in accord with their strong man or so called prophet. Take the example of Joseph Smith who borrowed from it to write the Book of Mormon, but failed to give credit or source to the Bible and twisted some borrowed things into bizarre distortions. Other examples are of course the bizarre writings of David Koresh the Prophet of the Branch Dividians of Waco, Texas; and the Quran, etc.

[2] ALMIGHTY GOD (YHWH) IS SOVEREIGN OVER ALL

INTRODUCTION:

King David made it clear at 1 Chronicles 29:10-22 that Almighty God (YHWH) was sovereign over all of creation including the universe,

"Wherefore David blessed Jehovah before all the assembly; and David said, Blessed be thou, O Jehovah, the God of Israel our father, for ever and ever.
11 Thine, O Jehovah, is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heavens and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O Jehovah, and thou art exalted as head above all.
12 Both riches and honor come of thee, and thou rulest over all; and in thy hand is power and might; and in thy hand it is to make great, and to give strength unto all.
13 Now therefore, our God, we thank thee, and praise thy glorious name.
14 But who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able to offer so willingly after this sort? for all things come of thee, and of thine own have we given thee.
15 For we are strangers before thee, and sojourners, as all our fathers were: our days on the earth are as a shadow, and there is no abiding.
16 O Jehovah our God, all this store that we have prepared to build thee a house for thy holy name cometh of thy hand, and is all thine own.
17 I know also, my God, that thou triest the heart, and hast pleasure in uprightness. As for me, in the uprightness of my heart I have willingly offered all these things: and now have I seen with joy thy people, that are present here, offer willingly unto thee.
18 O Jehovah, the God of Abraham, of Isaac, and of Israel, our fathers, keep this for ever in the imagination of the thoughts of the heart of thy people, and prepare their heart unto thee;
19 and give unto Solomon my son a perfect heart, to keep thy commandments, thy testimonies, and thy statutes, and to do all these things, and to build the palace, for which I have made provision.
20 And David said to all the assembly, Now bless Jehovah your God. And all the assembly blessed Jehovah, the God of their fathers, and bowed down their heads, and worshipped Jehovah, and the king.
21 And they sacrificed sacrifices unto Jehovah, and offered burnt-offerings unto Jehovah, on the morrow after that day, even a thousand bullocks, a thousand rams, and a thousand lambs, with their drink-offerings, and sacrifices in abundance for all Israel,
22 and did eat and drink before Jehovah on that day with great gladness. And they made Solomon the son of David king the second time, and anointed him unto Jehovah to be prince, and Zadok to be priest." (American Standard Version; ASV).

Now give special attention to verse 11 which makes it very clear that is the supreme sovereign, "for all that is in the heavens and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O Jehovah, and thou art exalted as head above all."

CREATING OF THE ANGELS AND EXTENDING CREATION:

After creating the angels, Jehovah extended his ruler ship by bringing into existence the vast and intricate physical universe, including the earth as clearly shown at Job 38:4- 7, "Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? Declare, if thou hast understanding. 5 Who determined the measures thereof, if thou knowest? Or who stretched the line upon it? 6 Whereupon were the foundations thereof fastened? Or who laid the corner-stone thereof, 7 When the morning stars sang together, And all the sons of God shouted for joy?" (ASV), and Psalms 148:5-8, "Of the glorious majesty of thine honor, And of thy wondrous works, will I meditate. 6 And men shall speak of the might of thy terrible acts; And I will declare thy greatness. 7 They shall utter the memory of thy great goodness, And shall sing of thy righteousness. 8 Jehovah is gracious, and merciful; Slow to anger, and of great lovingkindness." (ASV).

CREATION OF FIRST HUMAN PAIR:

When Almighty God (YHWH) created the first human pair, He exercised his sovereignty in yet another way. Besides providing humans with everything they needed to live a purposeful and satisfying life, Almighty God (YHWH) granted them dominion over the lower creatures of the earth-a delegation of authority as testified to at Genesis 1:26-28 and Genesis 2:8-9, "And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the heavens, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. 27 And God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. 28 And God blessed them: and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it; and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the heavens, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth." (ASV) and "And Jehovah God planted a garden eastward, in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed. 9 And out of the ground made Jehovah God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil." (ASV).

FIRST HUMAN PAIR HAD A WONDERFUL PROSPECT:

Adam and Eve had the prospect of living forever in their earthly paradise home as long as they obeyed Almighty God (YHWH), the Creator, as shown by Genesis 2:15-17, "And Jehovah God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it. 16 And Jehovah God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: 17 but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die." (ASV). Now, what can we conclude from all of this?

First, Almighty God (YHWH) has always been exercising his sovereignty over all of his creation.

Second, God's ruler ship is benevolent and dignifying.

Third and finally, our obeying and supporting God's ruler ship will result in eternal blessings.

Here, the Apostle Paul is appearing before King Agrippa to make his defense for spreading the truth of Almighty God (YHWH) to many in ancient Jerusalem. In his defense as recorded at Acts 26:1 - 8, [AV] he says, “Then Agrippa said unto Paul, Thou art permitted to speak for thyself. Then Paul stretched forth the hand, and answered for himself: 2 I think myself happy, king Agrippa, because I shall answer for myself this day before thee touching all the things whereof I am accused of the Jews: 3 Especially because I know thee to be expert in all customs and questions which are among the Jews: wherefore I beseech thee to hear me patiently. 4 My manner of life from my youth, which was at the first among mine own nation at Jerusalem, know all the Jews; 5 Which knew me from the beginning, if they would testify, that after the most straitest sect of our religion I lived a Pharisee. 6 And now I stand and am judged for the hope of the promise made of God unto our fathers: 7 Unto which promise our twelve tribes, instantly serving God day and night, hope to come. Dear Truth Seeker:

Today many immoral things are practiced by a great number of people, but this widespread committing of wickedness does not make it any less wrong. In fact, this condition, now existing, was foretold long ago in the Holy Bible at 2nd. Timothy 3:1-5 which reads as follows, "Do not forget this: there will be terrible times in the last days...Men will be lovers of self...They will be treacherous, reckless, pompous, lovers of pleasure rather than of God as they make a pretense of religion but negate its power..." (NAB). Immorality in its many forms is unlike other sins in that it is a sin against one's own body as shown at I Corinthians 6:18-19, "...Every other sin a man commits is outside his body, but the fornicator sins against his own body...(NAB). In fact, the truth that fornication is a sin against one's body can readily be seen from recent medical reports even without recourse to the Bible, God's written instructions for us. Specifically, reports about many types of diseases transmitted by illicit sexual relationships of various forms such as adultery, fornication, and other forms of immorality are much in the news. Who has not heard of AIDS, Herpes, Gonorrhea, etc. that plague homosexuals and other promiscuous individuals? Thus, obviously all forms of illicit sexual relationships, homosexual or heterosexual, are indeed sins against one's own body.

All forms of illicit sexual relationships are clearly works of the flesh and the Apostle Paul said, "Now the work of the flesh are..adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness..." (Galatians 6:18-19 per KJV). God does not view these unclean "works" of the flesh with pleasure no matter who may endorse them be he/she a high governmental official, a church leader, a community leader, or a common citizen. These works remain condemned by God as shown by the Apostle Paul at I Corinthians 6:9-10, "Know ye...the unrighteous shall not inherit the Kingdom of God...be not deceived: neither fornicators,...nor adulteress, nor effeminate,...shall inherit the Kingdom of God." (KJV). In fact is plainly recorded that God will judge all adulteresses and fornicators at Hebrews 13:4 which reads, "...God himself will judge those who traffic in the bodies of others or defile the relationship of marriage." (TNTMB). This fact that God will punish those who practice illicit sexual relationships is made very clear by his actions in the past as shown by his destruction of the inhabitants of ancient Sodom for the practice of immoral sex relations both heterosexual and homosexual. Their sinful practices of adultery, fornication, and homosexuality were so salient that Moses wrote at Genesis 14:13 under God's inspiration, "...the inhabitants of Sodom were very wicked in the sins they committed against the Lord." (NAB). Their evil practices of various forms of illicit sexual relationships were so flagrant they even tried to have homosexual relationships with materialized angles of God as recorded at Genesis 19:1-7, "The two Angles reached Sodom in the evening...Before they went to bed, all the townsmen of Sodom,...closed in on the house. They called to Lot and said to him, 'Where are the men who came to your house tonight? Bring them out to us that we may have intimacies with them.'" (NAB). Because of their wicked action with respect illicit sexual relationships of various types, i.e., homosexuality, adultery, and fornication, God destroyed the Sodomites as recorded at Genesis 19:24, "Then the Lord rained upon Sodom...brimstone and fire...out of heaven;" (KJV).

Sex relations of course in the right context are not wrong. In fact, the Bible recommends that each person have his/her own marriage mate, "God went on to bless Noah and his sons and to say to them. 'Be fruitful and become many and fill the earth," Genesis 9:1 (NWT). It also recommends that each adult having sexual desires should, "Because of the prevalence of fornication, let each man have his own wife and each women have her own husband. Let the husband render to his wife her due; but let the wife also do likewise to her husband...that Satan may not keep tempting you for your lack of self-regulation," 1 Corinthians 7:2-5 (NWT). What is wrong, sinful, etc. is illicit sexual relations of all types, not proper sexual relations between husband and wife. Illicit sexual relations include sexual relations before marriage as clearly shown, as follows, "This is what God wills...that you abstain from fornication; that each one of you should know how to get possession of his own vessel in sanctification and honor, not in covetous sexual appetite such as also those have which do not know God; that no one go to the point of harming and encroach upon the rights of his brother in this matter, because Jehovah is one who exacts punishment for all these things, just as we told you beforehand and also gave you a thorough witness. For God called us, not with allowance for uncleanness, but in connection with sanctification. So, then, the man that shows disregard is disregarding, not man, but God, who puts his holy spirit in you," 1 Thessalonians 4:3-8 (NWT). Note: the Greek word translated as "fornication" is por-nei'a, and refers to sexual intercourse between unmarried persons, and to married persons having sexual intercourse with other than their mate. Since marriage is the official union of a man and a women to live together as husband and wife according to standards outlined in the Holy Bible; it is a divine institution. The Apostle Paul in one of his writings stated, "Let marriage be honorable among all, and the marriage bed be without defilement, for God will judge fornicators and adulterers," Hebrews 13:4 (NWT). Thus, getting legally married plays an important part in having a marriage that is accepted as being "honorable," and is part of being in subjection to the superior authorities in keeping with Titus 3:1 (NWT) which states, "Continue reminding them to be in subjection and obedient to governments and authorities as rulers." The Apostle Peter states, "Maintain your conduct fine among the nations, that, in the thing in which they are speaking against you as evildoers, they may as a result of your fine works...glorify God in the day for his inspection," 1 Peter 2:12-15 (NWT).

Therefore let no one deceive you--illicit sexual practices bring God's disfavor as shown by many passages in God's written work, the Holy Scriptures. This point is made clear at Romans 1:24-25, "In consequence, God delivered them up in their lusts to unclean practices; they engaged in the mutual degradation of their bodies, these men who exchanged the truth of God for a lie....: (NAB). Rightly, as stated in the Bible at Ecclesiastes 7:29, "...God made mankind upright, but they themselves have sought out many plans." (NWT). These works or plans of the fallen flesh are clearly identified, and I Corinthians 6:13 states, "...God will do away with them in the end--but the body is not for immorality; it is for the lord...." (NAB). In addition, I Corinthians 6:18 warns all wishing to win God's favor to, "Shun lewd conduct." (NAB), since this sin is within the body; whereas, "Every other sin a man commits is outside his body." (NAB). Also, I Corinthians 7:2 warns us to avoid illicit sexual relations in the following words, "But to avoid immorality...." (NAB). The Apostle Paul in his letter to the Colossians warned at Colossians 3:5, "Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence..." (KJV).

Since as can be plainly seen from the foregoing we should strive not to be a part of the wrong doing of this sinful generation noted at Mark 8:38, "...this faithless and corrupt age..." (NAB), where all sort of uncleanness exist as noted at Ephesians 4:19 as follows, "Having come to be past all moral sense, they gave themselves over to loose conduct to work uncleanness of every sort...." (NWT). We should take heed to abstain from these things by noting what is God's will as expressed at I Thessalonians 4:3-5, "It is god's will that you grow in holiness: that you abstain from immorality, each of you guarding his members in sanctity and honor, not in passionate desire as do the Gentiles who know not God." (NAB). Not only must we not commit adultery, fornication, homosexuality (sodomy), and other illicit forms of sexual relationships; we must not as recorded at Matthew 5:28, "...look at a women lustfully...." (TNTMB). Specifically we must guard against committing any form of illicit sexual act as God wants us as shown at Hebrews 12:16, "that there may be no fornicator nor anyone not appreciating sacred things...." (NWT) among you; but wishes all to stop these wicked practices and repent as noted at Acts 26:20 as follows, "...they should repent and turn to God, and do works meet for repentance." (KJB)>

However, for those who refuse to repent and turn aside from wicked acts of illicit sexual relationships such as adultery, fornication, homosexuality (sodomy), beastality, etc., and as directed at Romans 6:6, "...our old self was crucified with him so that the sinful body might be destroyed and we might be slaves to sin no longer." (NAB). For those who refuse to repent and stop these things a certain judgment awaits as God will give them up to destruction as shown by what he did to Sodom. Also, as shown y his action at Sodom, he can deliver the righteous as recorded at 2 Peter 3:7, "He did deliver Lot...." (NAB). Thus in closing it is imperative to recall to memory that he destroyed Sodom as an example to the ungodly per 2nd Peter 3:6, "And turning the cities of Sodom...into ashes condemned them...making them an example unto those that after should live ungodly." (KJV). To emphasize this he caused to be recorded for our guidance a warning with respect to what will come to pass on those rejecting his teachings and practicing wrong acts such as sodomy at Matthew 10:15 which reads, "Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom...in the day of judgment, than for that city." Be of good cheer win God's approval by rejecting wickedness.

[2] WILL YOU BE COUNTED WORTHY TO LIVE UNDER GOD'S KINGDOM?

INTRODUCTION:

Around the year 50 CE, the apostle Paul visited Athens. What he found there was rampant idolatry. This moved him to give a masterly witness, which he climaxed with a declaration that surely must have caught the attention of his pagan listeners. This witness was recorded at Acts 17:30-31, "The times of ignorance therefore God overlooked; but now he commandeth men that they should all everywhere repent: 31 inasmuch as he hath appointed a day in which he will judge the world in righteousness by the man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead." (American Standard Version; ASV).

This reality proved to have a sobering effect on some as clearly shown at Acts 17:32, "Now when they heard of the resurrection of the dead, some mocked; but others said, We will hear thee concerning this yet again." (ASV).

REVELATION ON THE JUDGMENT:

Clearly Revelation at Revelation 20:13 points to a judgment of not only the living, but the dead when it says, "And the sea gave up the dead that were in it; and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works." (ASV).

Revelation 20:12 indicates an opening of the scrolls revealing the judgment of each person, "And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne; and books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of the things which were written in the books, according to their works." (ASV).

Yes, by the end of Judgment Day, ample time will have passed for all individuals to have had ample opportunity to show where he/she stands on the issue of universal sovereignty. Will they uphold the Kingdom arrangement and be a genuine true follower of the Lam of God, Jesus (Yeshua) Christ and be guided to the fountains of water of life foretold at Revelation 7:17, "for the Lamb that is in the midst of the throne shall be their shepherd, and shall guide them unto fountains of waters of life: and God shall wipe away every tear from their eyes." (ASV)? Or will they resist per Isaiah 65:20, "There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days; for the child shall die a hundred years old, and the sinner being a hundred years old shall be accursed." (ASV). Clearly, by then, all on earth will have had the opportunity to make a personal decision based on accurate knowledge and unhampered by inherited sin or by a wicked environment. Yes, no one will, therefore, be able to question the rightfulness of Almighty God's (YHWH's) final judgment, and only the wicked will be everlastingly destroyed as revealed by Revelation 20:14-15, "And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. 15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire." (Authorized King James Bible; AV).

Yes, Almighty God (YHWH), loves us, and this love is first from Him as made clear by 1 John 4:16, [AV] “And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.” His greatest attribute is love as shown by 1 John 4:19, [AV] “We love him, because he first loved us.” And He will remember our works of love as revealed at Hebrews 6:10, [AV] “For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.”

[2] Discourse on Philippians 2:5-7 - Often Misunderstood by Many:

INTRODUCTION:

Let's look at the scripture Philippians 2:5-7, " Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, 6 who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, 7 but emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men.' (Revised Standard Version; RSV). As can be seen, it is a rather short group of three scriptures. So let's view it in context:

Philippians 2:1-11, "So if there is any encouragement in Christ, any incentive of love, any participation in the Spirit, any affection and sympathy, 2 complete my joy by being of the same mind, having the same love, being in full accord and of one mind. 3 Do nothing from selfishness or conceit, but in humility count others better than yourselves. 4 Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others. 5 Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, 6 who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, 7 but emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. 8 And being found in human form he humbled himself and became obedient unto death, even death on a cross. 9 Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name which is above every name, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11 and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." (RSV).

VERSE 5 - AN EXPLANATION:

Likewise some do not understand verse 5 "Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus" . Yet the understanding of this verse really is quite simple as here the Apostle Paul points to Christ as the example of humility and consecration to the good of others. On this the great Bible scholar, John Gill, says, "Let this mind be in you...
The Arabic version renders it, "let that humility be perceived in you". The apostle proposes Christ as the great pattern and exemplar of humility; and instances in his assumption of human nature, and in his subjection to all that meanness, and death itself, even the death of the cross in it; and which he mentions with this view, to engage the saints to lowliness of mind, in imitation of him; to show forth the same temper and disposition of mind in their practice,

which also was in Christ Jesus;
or as the Syriac version, "think ye the same thing as Jesus Christ"; let the same condescending spirit and humble deportment appear in you as in him. This mind, affection, and conduct of Christ, may refer both to his early affection to his people, the love he bore to them from everlasting, the resolution and determination of his mind in consequence of it; and his agreement with his Father to take upon him their nature in the fulness of time, and to do his will, by obeying, suffering, and dying in their room and stead; and also the open exhibition and execution of all this in time, when he appeared in human nature, poor, mean, and abject; condescending to the lowest offices, and behaving in the most meek and humble manner, throughout the whole of his life, to the moment of his death.[source - The New John Gill's Exposition of the Entire Bible Modernised]

Another great Bible Scholar, Theodore.Beza, said, " He sets before them a most perfect example of all modesty and sweet conduct, Christ Jesus, whom we ought to follow with all our might: who abased himself so much for our sakes, although he is above all, that he took upon himself the form of a servant, that is, our flesh, willingly subject to all weaknesses, even to the death of the cross. [source - Beza, Theodore. "Commentary on Philippians 2". "The 1599 Geneva Study Bible". 1600-1645]

Yet another, A. R. Fausset, AM, Said, "The oldest manuscripts read, "Have this mind in you," &c. He does not put forward himself Philippians 1:24) as an example, but Christ, THE ONE pre-eminently who sought not His own, but "humbled Himself" (Philippians 2:8), first in taking on Him our nature, secondly, in humbling Himself further in that nature (Romans 15:3)." [source - Fausset, A. R., A.M. "Commentary on Philippians 2". "Commentary Critical and Explanatory on the Whole Bible". 1871].

VERSE 6 - AN EXPLANATION:

Likewise some do not understand verse 6 "who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped," but let's look at several different major translations rendering of this and then an explanation.

Philippians 2:6 who, although He existed in the from of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped. (New American Standard Bible [Reference Edition by Moody Press, Chicago]; NASB-MP)

Philippians 2:6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:

Philippians 2:6 who, although he existed in God's form, gave no consideration to a seizure, namely, that he should be equal to God. (New World Translation; NWT)

Philippians 2:6 who, though he was in the form of God, did not regard equality with God as something to be exploited, (Revised Standard Version; RSV)

Philippians 2:6 who, existing in the form of God, did not consider equality with God as something to be used for His own advantage. (The Holoman Christian Standard Bible)

Philippians 2:6 who, existing in the form of God, counted not the being on an equality with God a thing to be grasped, (American Standard Bible; ASB)

Interesting scripture in that it is translated many ways, but to understand it, we need to look at it in context. Let's look at what follows in the Authorized King James Bible, Philippians 2:7-11, "But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: 8 And being found in fashion F7 as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. 9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: 10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; 11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." (AV). Here we see that he was an obedient Son to his Father (YHWH). He also, "and being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death," and for being obedient, His Father (YHWH) has, "highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name." But the real key is "and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."

Clearly Philippians 2:11 shows that God (YHWH) was very proud of his Son, Jesus (Yeshua), and counted praise given to his Son, Jesus (Yeshua), as glory being given to him. Rightly so, since he, Jesus (Yeshua) was his only begotten, as shown at Colossians 1:15, "For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;" He, God (YHWH) created him in his image in that he gave him some of his power and his attributes. This was also testified to at Revelations 3:14, "And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;" which shows him as the first of God's (YHWH's) creation. In fact, when Jesus (Yeshua) was ascending to be with his Father in heaven, he prayed, as recorded in John 17:5, "And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was." (AV). Showing he was returning to where he had been before with his Father (YHWH), see John 6:62, "What then if you should behold the Son of Man ascending where He was before?" (NASB-MP). Once returned to heaven, God's (YHWH's) Son, Jesus (Yeshua) is, 1 Peter 3:22, "Who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him" (AV)..

As we note in this scripture, his Father (YHWH) has given him authority and power over everything including the angels; but, Colossians 1:16-19, "For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: 17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. 18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence. 19 For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;" (AV), and the Bible reaffirms the Father (YHWH) was pleased to let "in him should all fullness dwell." In 1 Corinthians 15:22-28, "For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. 23 But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming. 24 Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power. 25 For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet. 26 The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death. 27 For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him. 28 And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all." (AV), testifies that God (YHWH) had given his Son, Jesus (Yeshua) over all except himself when the scripture says "it is manifest that he is excepted." Thus these scriptures clearly show that Jesus (Yeshua) and his Father (YHWH) are two separate beings; one having always existed and having created the other as his only begotten Son.

Of this scripture, Philippians 2:6, "The Wycliffe Bible Commentary," says, 'Being in the form of God (AV). Better, through in his pre-incarnate state he possessed the essential qualities of God, he did not consider his status of divine equality a prize to be selfishly hoarded (taking harpagnos passively). 'Morphe', form, in verse 6 and 7 denotes a permanent expression of essential attributes; while 'schema', fashion, refers to outward appearance that is subject to change." ["The Wycliffe Bible Commentary," edited by Charles F. Pfeiffer (OT) and Everett F. Harrison (NT), published by Moody Press, a div. Of Moody Bible Institute of Chicago].

Thus we can see Jesus (Yeshua) was a separate individual from his Father (YHWH), but was completely loyal and obedient to him. He, Jesus (Yeshua) stated at John 14:28, "Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I." (AV); Clearly if Jesus (Yeshua) said " for my Father is greater than I" we should believe him. He further reaffirmed this at John 5:19, "Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise." (AV). And the scripture continues on, John 5:20, "For the Father loveth the Son, and sheweth him all things that himself doeth: and he will shew him greater works than these, that ye may marvel." (AV), so much so as to show him, Jesus (Yeshua) greater works.

Also, another Bible scholar, Barton W. Johnson, said, "Who, being in the form of God. He refers to the state of our Savior before he took human form. His form was divine. "He had a glory with the father before the world was." See John 1:1; 2 Cor. 4:4; Heb. 1:3, etc. Thought it not robbery to be equal with God. The Revision says, "Counted it not a prize." The meaning is not entirely clear, but probably is that "Having a form of glory like God, he did not count it a prize which must be clung to tenaciously, especially when he appeared upon the earth, that he should be equal with God, that is, appear in a divine form, but was willing to lay aside his glory and make himself a servant." VERSE 7 - AN EXPLANATION:

Seems clear enough, but look at verse 7 "7 but emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men" which many do NOT understand that all this verse refers to is that Jesus (Yeshua) Christ gave up his heavenly forum and permitted his Father, God (YHWH) to put his life force into a virgin women on earth as recorded at Matthew 1:18-25, "Now the birth of Jesus Christ took place in this way. When his mother Mary had been betrothed to Joseph, before they came together she was found to be with child of the Holy Spirit; 19 and her husband Joseph, being a just man and unwilling to put her to shame, resolved to divorce her quietly. 20 But as he considered this, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, "Joseph, son of David, do not fear to take Mary your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit; 21 she will bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins." 22 All this took place to fulfil what the Lord had spoken by the prophet: 23 "Behold, a virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and his name shall be called Emmanuel" (which means, God with us). 24 When Joseph woke from sleep, he did as the angel of the Lord commanded him; he took his wife, 25 but knew her not until she had borne a son; and he called his name Jesus." (RSV). Strangely this fact from the Bible was even copied by Muhammad into the Quran, Sura 3:47, "She said, "My Lord, how can I have a son, when no man has touched me?" He said, "GOD thus creates whatever He wills. To have anything done, He simply says to it, `Be,' and it is." (the Quran).

Another Bible Scholar, Theodore Beza, said, "(g) He brought himself from all things, as it were to nothing.
(h) By taking our manhood upon him.' [source - Beza, Theodore. "Commentary on Philippians 2". "The 1599 Geneva Study Bible". 1600-1645]

Yet another, Barton W. Johnson, said, "Emptied himself. Of the divine form and glory, and took the form of a servant, of our own race, a race whose duty it is to serve God. TECHNICAL ANALYSIS OF PHILIPPIANS 2:5-7:

Here is a technical analysis of Philippians 2:5-7 from Robertson's Word Pictures of the New Testament.
Verse 5
Have this mind in you (touto proneite en umin). "Keep on thinking this in you which was also in Christ Jesus" (o kai en Cristwi Ihsou). What is that? Humility. Paul presents Jesus as the supreme example of humility. He urges humility on the Philippians as the only way to secure unity.
Verse 6
Being (uparcwn). Rather, "existing," present active participle of uparcw. In the form of God (en morph qeou). Morph means the essential attributes as shown in the form. In his preincarnate state Christ possessed the attributes of God and so appeared to those in heaven who saw him. Here is a clear statement by Paul of the deity of Christ. A prize (arpagmon). Predicate accusative with hghsato. Originally words in -moß signified the act, not the result (-ma). The few examples of arpagmoß (Plutarch, etc.) allow it to be understood as equivalent to arpagma, like baptismoß and baptisma. That is to say Paul means a prize to be held on to rather than something to be won ("robbery"). To be on an equality with God (to einai isa qeoi). Accusative articular infinitive object of hghsato, "the being equal with God" (associative instrumental case qewi after isa). Isa is adverbial use of neuter plural with einai as in Revelation 21:16. Emptied himself (eauton ekenwse). First aorist active indicative of kenow, old verb from kenoß, empty. Of what did Christ empty himself? Not of his divine nature. That was impossible. He continued to be the Son of God. There has arisen a great controversy on this word, a Kenosiß doctrine. Undoubtedly Christ gave up his environment of glory. He took upon himself limitations of place (space) and of knowledge and of power, though still on earth retaining more of these than any mere man. It is here that men should show restraint and modesty, though it is hard to believe that Jesus limited himself by error of knowledge and certainly not by error of conduct. He was without sin, though tempted as we are. "He stripped himself of the insignia of majesty" (Lightfoot).
Verse 7
The form of a servant (morphn doulou). He took the characteristic attributes (morphn as in verse Revelation 6) of a slave. His humanity was as real as his deity. In the likeness of men (en omoiwmati anqrwpwn). It was a likeness, but a real likeness (Kennedy), no mere phantom humanity as the Docetic Gnostics held. Note the difference in tense between uparcwn (eternal existence in the morph of God) and genomenoß (second aorist middle participle of ginomai, becoming, definite entrance in time upon his humanity).[source - Home > Commentaries > Robertson's Word Pictures > Philippians >

CONCLUSION:

In the above discourse we have dealt with the fact that the Son of God (YHWH), Jesus (Yeshua) Christ having shown his humility and obedience to his Father, Almighty God (YHWH) - Creator of all that exist. Thou Jesus (Yeshua) Christ existed in the form of God (YHWH) - was the first created spirit being by his Father (YHWH), i.e., the beloved only begotten Son , he willfully submitted to his Father's (YHWH's) will and did NOT try and usurp his Father's (YHWH's) position as did another spirit son of God (YHWH), namely the covering Cherub, Satan, who became the Devil. This obedient beloved only begotten Son of God - the first of creation per Colossians 1:15, "He is the image of the invisible God, the first-born of all creation;" (RSV), as pointed out previously, humbly permitted - or emptied - himself to his Father's (YHWH's) will and willfully let his Father (YHWH) put his life force into the womb of a virgin human woman, Mary to be born as a human being. A fact acknowledged in both the Bible and in the Quran. Yet some misguided ones seek to give all kinds of twist to Philippians 2:5-7 and turn it in to a mystery to support human myths, legends, and agendas in keeping with what the Bible denounces at 2 Corinthians 4:4, "In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the likeness of God." We shall be tested by many trials, but the end of the matter is all true followers of our savior, Jesus (Yeshua) will multiply and become a great crowd of praisers of our God, Almighty God (YHWH). 1 Peter 4:12 – 14, [AV] clearly shows that there will be many trials, “Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: 13 But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy. 14 If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified.”

[2] THE RARE FRUIT TREES AND VEGETABLES, Hibiscus spp:
Here is a Commentary on Bountiful Trees and Vegetables God (YHWH) has provided for mankind, specifically the Hibiscus spp., Mallow - Rose

Abundance: very rare
What: flowers, leaves, seeds, seed pods, roots
How: flowers raw, young leaves raw or cooked, seeds roasted. Tender seed pods are cooked. Roots are diced then roasted.
Where: sunny areas, often used in landscaping
When: spring, summer, fall
Nutritional Value: Flowers high in antioxidants; seeds are high in protein & starch; leaves high in minerals; roots contain starch.

The seeds can be roasted then ground in a coffee grinder for use as a substitute for real coffee. It tastes pretty good, though does not have any caffeine.

Young tender leaves can be cooked like spinach but I find them a bit too rough/stiff to use raw. The flowers are good raw or added to tea. The tender, young flower buds and seed pods can be used like okra, either friend, pickled, or added to Cajun and African foods. The flowers work well in salads. Rough times are shortly to come as prophised in Matthew 24:29 - 31, [AV] “Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: 30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.” Even Jesus (Yeshua), the Son of God does not know when the culmination of the end times will occur as revealed at Matthew 24:36, [AV] “But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.”

Almighty God (YHWH), shall bring them on in his due time just as Matthew 24: 37 – 39, “But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. 38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, 39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.”

[2] A BIOLOGIST LOOKS AT EVOLUTION/CREATION:

A biologist sent me an email on how he looks at evolution/creation that all should read and learn from as it shows why from a point of reason that he believes in Creation and NOT Evolution:

As a biologist I am often saturated by evolutionary teachings. I don’t know much about textual criticism but I do know evolution/creation. So I thought I would share thoughts about what I know:

according to some evolutionary theories our ancestor that branched into the human lineage and chimp lineage existed seven million yrs ago. it is also stated that we have about 3 billion base pairs in our dna which 3% or 90 million is expressed or used. compared to chimps there is only about a 1% difference from our base pairs to theirs. In other words their dna matches ours
by about 99% which accounts for similarities. So only only 1% of 90 mill or about 90,000 base pairs in our dna is really what makes us human.

well to many this proves evolution, it doesn't, according to this there were 90,000 mutations in only 7 mill yrs. all these mutations had to be profitable (mutations are harmful the majority of the time i.e. cancer, they had to be retained and passed on to the next generation. This is so unlikely. if we had a mutation in our pelvis/spinal column that favored permanent upright mvt or a mutation is our skin cells that shed all our chimp hair how did the mutations migration into our sperm/ovaries. mutations anywhere else would simply die with us. they would have to occur in the sex cells to be passed on. not to mention the present rate of mutation in our sex cells is about 1/10,000 or 1/100,000 generations so it is impossible to have occurred in 7 mill yrs. some who try and say evolution is a product of god use this to show only divine intervention could of made such mutations.........i feel this proves it is impossible.

so why do we resemble lower animals? it is simple: we all came from the SAME god and were created by the SAME elements and live in the SAME environment so we should expect such similarities.

now my question: could someone give me a pretty good list of stative verbs or is "was" and "is" the only ones? and what exactly qualifies something as a predicate nominative ? is it simply they are connected by stative verbs? my question stems from a point Broth Stafford made that many examples people use to show the nwt is not faithful to there translation principle of an anarthrous theos are not predicate nominatives and so i want to know what makes something such?................................................thanx

Thus, we see even reasonable men of science thou not knowing much with respect know much about textual criticism still discerns the Truth with respect Creation from what he knows about science and mathematics.
