Is All Religion Good?

INTRODUCTION:

Many will say that all religion is good, but if they do an analytic analysis of the subject they will find this is NOT so. In fact, some religions even promote hate, violence, and the concept they should rule the world. Now let’s look at whether all religions are good.

IS ALL RELIGION GOOD?

Many sincere people belong to many religious groups and want to please Almighty God (YHWH) or some other god. Yes, Almighty God (YHWH) sees these people and he cares about them. However, sadly, though, some people have used religion for evil purposes. In the past and continuing into today many religious leaders have even tortured and used violence against those who they view as their opponents, and this was clearly foretold to happen at 2 Corinthians 4:3-4 and 11:13-15, “But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: 4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.” And “For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. 14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. 15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.” [Authorized King James Bible: AV] .

Today, according to news reports, some religious leaders have encouraged terrorism and/or supported war, of have been involved in child abuse as foretold at Matthew 24:3-5 and 11-12, “And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world? 4 ¶ And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. 5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.” And “And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. 12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.” [AV}. In fact, the Devil even assist evil ones to imbed themselves among the genuine true followers of his Son, Jesus (Yeshua) Christ, to work evil.

NOW WHAT IS THE GOOD NEWS ABOUT RELIGION?

Reality, Almighty God (YHWH) does not want people to be deceived by religions that claim to love him but misrepresent him. In fact, adherents of those religions love being friends with the world that is controlled by Satan the devil as revealed at James 4:4, “Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.” [AV}, and 1 John 5:19, “And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness.” [AV}. In fact, Almighty God’s (YHWH’s) word, describes religions that give their allegiance to human governments rather than to Almighty God (YHWH) as being like a prostitute. The Bible calls this whore by the name ‘Babylon the Great,’ after the ancient city where false religion began after the Flood of Noah’s day. The Bible book of Revelation has this to say, Revelation 17:1-2, 5, 17, “And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters: 2 With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication.,” and “5 And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.,” and “17 For God hath put in their hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled.” [AV}

Soon, Almighty God (YHWH) will bring a sudden end to religion that deceives and oppresses mankind as shown at Revelation 18:8, 23-24, “8 Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her.” And “23 And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived. 24 And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth.” [AV}

MODERN EXAMPLE OF EVIL ACTIONS BY ONE FALSE RELIGION:

We shall use the United Kingdom (UK) as an example, using the 2001 census, the latest available, which shows the following with respect religions of immigrants and their families as follows:

Islam 1,546,626 or 2.7% of the population

Yet, this religion (false – that was founded by a 7 th. Century criminal and highwayman) accounts for well over 95% of the religious inspired violence in the UK. This statistic alone clearly shows that this group is evil; however, this is NOT to say that all members of this group are evil and love violence as there are some good, but deceived, individuals among them.

In Egypt, this group is very violent and does NOT believe in religious freedom for others. Here is one account of violence and hate against other religions coming out of this country.

1 - Egypt: In Minya province, Christian families are "living in terror" since Salafis threatened to kidnap any Christian girl not wearing the hijab; parents are keeping their daughters indoors, missing school. Likewise, a Christian boy was abducted, his kidnappers demanding a large ransom from his family. And a court in Edfu sentenced the pastor of a church that was torched by Muslims to six months in prison for violating the height of the church building, further ordering the removal of the excess height. The church had received a license and was still under construction when it was torched by a Muslim mob in September.

2 - A Christian man accused of insulting Islam's prophet Muhammad was sentenced to six years in prison. Though "defamation of religion" is a misdemeanor under Egyptian law, punishable by a prison sentence of one month to three years, the judge doubled the sentence to appease Muslims, including an angry 2,500-strong mob that terrorized the courtroom, demanding death for the Christian. Likewise, an "anti-Christianization course" by an organization that is "specializing in the resistance to Christianity"—so Muslims are not "throw[n] under the feet of the Cross"—was initiated; according to an instructor, "Reoccurring attempts at the university in Aswan to convert Muslims to Christianity or provoke them with misleading information was the drive behind the course." CONCLUSION:

As can readily be seen, some false religions are very violent and hateful and unloving, but Almighty God (YHWH) inspired word, the Bible, clearly says, 1 John 4:8, “He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.” [AV}.

Muslims are such hypocrites, they carry on about Terry Jones burning his own Quran, but ignore ultra religious Muslims burning ancient Qurans in Timbuktu in Mali that belong to others – hypocrisy to the infinite degree. What a false and hypocritical religion.

Muslims Want Freedom Of Religion For Themselves, But Do Not Want To Give It To Others:

Muslims want freedom of religion for themselves and demand it in western countries, but as the following news article clearly shows, they do not give it to others in lands they control – what hypocrisy. Read the article for yourself and see the truth.

Yemen's Forgotten Christians
by Raymond Ibrahim
Gatestone Institute
January 29, 2013

http://www.meforum.org/3437/yemen-christians
When one thinks of Yemen—the impoverished Arab country that begat Osama bin Laden and is cushioned between Saudi Arabia and Somalia, two of the absolute most radical Muslim nations—one seldom thinks of Christians, primarily because they are practically nonexistent in such an inhospitable environment. In fact, most tallies suggest that Yemen's entire non-Muslim population is less than one percent.
However, a new Arabic report discusses the existence of Christians in Yemen, and their plight—a plight that should be familiar by now, wherever Christian minorities live under Muslim majorities.
Unofficial statistics suggest that there are some 2,500 indigenous Christians in the nation, practicing their faith underground, even as hostile tribes surround them. According to human rights activist, Abdul Razzaq al-Azazi, "Christians in Yemen cannot practice their religion nor can they go to church freely. Society would work on having them enter Islam."
He added that, as in most Muslim countries, "the government does not permit the establishment of buildings or worship places without prior permission," pointing out that Roman Catholic officials, for example, are currently awaiting a decision from the government on whether they will be allowed to construct a building and be officially recognized by the government in Sana.
A convert to Christianity—an apostate from Islam whose life is forfeit and who naturally prefers to remain anonymous, going by the pseudonym, "Ibn Yemen" (Son of Yemen)—expressed his fear of increased pressure on Christians, especially since the "Islamists now represent the dominant political faction, following the Arab Spring and the protests that brought the fall of President Ali Abdullah Saleh." He added that even though the old regime "was not Islamist, Christians were still subjected to persecution and scrutiny by the police apparatus under that regime. Authorities did not allow us to practice our religion openly or allow us to build a private church, all because of Islam's apostasy law. What do you think it will be like now that the Islamists are in power?"
Accordingly, and as another Christian interviewed in Yemen indicated, Christians pray underground in the members' houses on a rotational basis—not unlike the days of Roman persecution of Christians, when the latter worshipped in underground catacombs. Along with Yemen's indigenous Christians, there are also some 15,000-25,000 non-native Christians living in Yemen, mostly refugees from Somalia, Eritrea, and Ethiopia, where the persecution of Christians is often even worse than in Yemen, especially Somalia, where Al-Shabaab ("the Youth") behead Muslim apostates to Christianity on a regular basis. Such Christian refugees from Africa often change their names to Muslim names to avoid harassment in Yemeni society.
Some Christian organizations and institutions do exist, mostly foreign ones, including the American Baptist Mission, which runs Jibla Hospital and the Church which provides services to the poor, orphans, and imprisoned women. These work primarily to serve the community, not facilitate Christian worship. Likewise, another study confirmed the previous existence of five churches in the southern city of Aden, three of which were Roman Catholic, one Anglican, and the fifth of unidentified affiliation: three of those five churches which were built during the British occupation of southern Yemen, were neglected and left to crumble; the fourth became the property of the government; and the fifth was turned into a health facility.
The story of Yemen's Christians is a microcosm of the story of Islam's Christians, as it wholly conforms to the current pattern of oppression for Christians under Islam: things were better for Christians—for religious freedom in general—in earlier eras under Western influence; as the Muslim world, which for a while was Western-looking, continues returning to Islam, the things of Islam, its "way," or "Sharia"—in this case, hostility to non-Muslim worship and apostates—returns; and, as the "Arab Spring" has done elsewhere, Islamists now dominate Yemeni politics, bringing to mind the apostate Ibn Yemen's apt question: "What do you think it will be like now [for Christians] that the Islamists are in power?"

AND HERE IS WHAT THEY ARE PROPOSING IN EGYPT:

Egypt, 2012: The Year In Fatwas
by Raymond Ibrahim
FrontPageMagazine.com
January 31, 2013
http://www.meforum.org/3439/egypt-fatwas
In previous decades in Egypt, the fatwas, or legal decrees issued by learned Muslims and based on Sharia law, revolved around questions like proper prayer, when and where women should wear the hijab, and if smoking was forbidden or permissible.
That was then.
The fatwas issued in the year 2012—the year when Islamists, spearheaded by the Muslim Brotherhood, assumed formal power—are, as one would expect, markedly different, that is, much less restrained. The popular Egyptian Arabic website El-Watan News recently compiled a list of 2012's most "notable" (a euphemism) fatwas. I translate a summary of their findings below, augmented with additional observations:
Destruction of the Pyramids and Sphinx
In November, Sheikh Murjan Salem al-Jawhari, a Salafi leader, called for the destruction of all idols, relics, and statues in Egypt, specifically mentioning the Sphinx and the Great Pyramids. He called on Muslims to destroy such "idols" just as they destroyed the Buddha statues in Afghanistan. Of course, several months earlier, in July, I reported how several prominent Islamic clerics were calling on President Morsi to "destroy the Pyramids and accomplish what the Sahabi Amr bin al-As [the first Muslim invader of Egypt] could not." Then and now, the MSM scoffed at the very idea, portraying it as a "hoax." To date, reports from Egypt confirm that "some of the statues have already been destroyed by those belonging to the political Islamist parties."
Marrying Minors (i.e., Pedophilia)
Dr. Yassir al-Burhami, Vice President of the Salafi Da'wa movement, and thus an authoritative figure among Egypt's Salafis, who are playing a prominent role in the nation's new parliament, opposed setting a minimum age in the new constitution concerning the marriage of minor girls, saying "they can get married at any time," and insisting that Sharia law is clear on this matter. Indeed, earlier, another cleric and member of Saudi Arabia's highest religious council, after saying that girls can be married "even if they are in the cradle," explained the fundamental criterion of when they can copulate: whenever "they are capable of being placed beneath and bearing the weight of the men," which has less to do with age and more to do with individual capacity.
Permitting Lies and Hypocrisy
Dr. Yassir al-Burhami also permitted wives to "lie to their husbands" about their whereabouts—if they were going to go and vote "yes" on the Sharia-heavy constitution in Egypt, and if their husbands would otherwise have disapproved. The ever-expedient Salafi leader also permitted Egypt to borrow money from the IMF, rationalizing the "forbidden" interest rate away as "administrative charges." (Islam forbids Muslim participation in monetary loans that charge interest, as does the IMF.)
Scrapping Camp David Accords
Sheikh Hashem Islam, member of the Al-Azhar Fatwa Committee, said that the peace treaty with Israel contradicts the teachings of Sharia and should be annulled, quoting the Koran: "So do not weaken and call for peace while you are superior; and Allah is with you and will never deprive you of [the reward of] your deeds" (47:35). He added that "Jews cannot be trusted." The Islamic logic he and others use is that peace treaties with infidels are legitimate only when Muslims are weak and in need, whereas now that Egypt is under proper Muslim leadership, Allah will help it to defeat Israel.
Killing Anyone Protesting Islamization of Egypt
Sheikh Hashem Islam also permitted the killing of anti-Islamization protesters, portraying them as traitors committing "high treason." The Sheikh also exempted the murderers from having to pay the restitution required by Sharia to a Muslim victim's family. Sheikh Wagdi Ghoneim issued a similar fatwa, proclaiming any Muslim who rejects the Sharia-heavy constitution of being an apostate who must be fought and killed.
Obeying President Morsi
Sheikh Ahmed Mahlawi, the leader of an Alexandrian mosque, denounced all Muslims opposed to President Morsi, pointing out that the Koran declares it to be forbidden to disobey those in authority: "Obey Allah and obey the Messenger [Muhammad] and those in authority among you" (4:59). He added that Morsi should be obeyed whether he was elected or not—as long as he enforces the laws of Allah. In fact, according to Sharia, the Islamic ruler must always be obeyed—except whenever he fails to enforce Sharia.
Banning Greeting Christians
The Committee for Rights and Reform issued a Fatwa against congratulating Christian Copts on their religious holidays, notably Christmas and Easter, since Muslims do not share the beliefs specific to those holidays. As for the ever-reliable Salafi Sheikh Burhami, he further forbade Muslim cab and bus drivers from transporting Christian priests to their churches, which he depicted as "more forbidden than taking someone to a liquor bar."
Banning Saluting the Egyptian Flag
Abd al-Akhir Hamad, the mufti of the notorious Gama'a Islamiya (Islamic Group), denounced and forbade the saluting of the flag and the Egyptian national anthem, saying that doing so glorifies that which is other than Allah—not to mention music is simply "haram," that is, forbidden. Dar Al-Ifta' issued a counter-fatwa to allow for saluting the flag and standing up for the national anthem.
Banning TV Shows Mocking Political Islamists
A fatwa banning TV viewers from watching the very popular shows of Bassem Yusif, who routinely mocks Egypt's Islamists and their fatwas, appeared and was originally attributed to Dar Al-Ifta', though it later denied issuing it.
Banning Marriage to Mubarak-Regime "Remnants"
Sheik Omar Stouhi, Secretary General of the Supreme Committee for Islamic Da'wa at Al-Azhar, forbade all Muslim women from marrying any of the sons of the "remnants" of the old regimes, portraying them as non-pious Muslims.
Banning Joining the Dustor Political Party
Sheikh Muhammad Nazmi issued a ban on people from joining Egypt's Dustor political party, headed by Dr. Muhammad al-Baradei, saying that the latter is a secularist and opposed to the implementation of Allah's laws.
