Nujood Ali was ten years old when a pedophile married her with no objections from local Muslim clergy. This was in keeping with what the false prophet Muhammad did in the 7 th. Century; to wit, , Aisha, a very young girl, was six or seven years old when she was betrothed to Muhammad and nine when the marriage was consummated. Therefore, today Islam tacitly approves of pedophile marriages to children, i.e., child brides. Of course, not all members of Islam practice or approve of this wicked custom. For example, my husband has a very good Muslim friend from college days that definitely does not and would NEVER have done such a thing with his daughter. However, the religion tacitly approves of child brides, i.e., pedophiles taking young children as brides.
Let’s look at my bare bones of the Reader’s Digest article in the January 2013 issue entitled, “I Am Nujood, Age Ten and Divorced,” found on Pages 136 to 147 of that issue. Here is my short abstract in bullet form.
1 – Nujood Ali was only ten when married by a Muslim pedophile.
2 – She was ten when her request for divorce was granted at the age of 10.
3 – Her father had stated, “If you divorce him, my brothers and cousins will kill me!” Clearly showing that the Muslim community approved of child marriages.
4 – Judge Abdo was surprised when a ten year old came to him at court wanting a divorce.
5 – Her lawyer was Shada Nasser.
6 – She wanted an education, not marriage.
7 – She NEVER gave her consent to be married, it was forced on her.

Shada Nasser agreed to defend Ali. For the lawyer, it was the continuation of a struggle begun with the installation of her practice in Sana'a, which she opened in the 1990s as the first Yemeni law office headed by a woman. She built her clientele by offering services to female prisoners.[5]
Yemeni law allows girls of any age to wed, but it forbids sex with them until an indefinite time when they are considered "suitable for sexual intercourse." In court, Nasser argued that Ali’s marriage violated the law, since she was raped.[3] Ali rejected the judge's proposal of resuming living with her husband after a break of three to five years.[3] On April 15, 2008,[7] the court granted her a divorce.[3]
After the trial, Ali rejoined her family in a suburb of Sana'a. She returned to school in the fall of 2008 with plans to become a lawyer.[8] Ali's memoirs were published in 2009, and royalties from international sales of the book were intended to pay for her schooling; but she did not attend school regularly.[9] Because of negative world press coverage about Yemen resulting from the case, Ali's passport was confiscated in March 2009 and she was prevented from attending the ceremonies for the Women's World Award in Vienna, Austria. REALITY:
Guilt Comes On Organizations That Fail To Clean House Of The Wicked Ones:
INTRODUCTION:
First, The world we live in is ruled by the wicked one as testified to by 1 John 5:19, “And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness.” (Authorized King James Bible; AV). If we pick up a newspaper in any country, we find reports of cruelty and violence on an unprecedented scale. Man’s inhumanity to man is troubling for a righteous person to contemplate as testified to at Ecclesiastes 8:9, “All this have I seen, and applied my heart unto every work that is done under the sun: there is a time wherein one man ruleth over another to his own hurt.” (AV).
Second, Most individuals and/or groups seek to avoid responsibility for their own actions rather than take corrective actions. This also applies to so called religious groups that seek to absolve themselves of responsibility for the wrong actions of members, but fail, willingly, to take action against these wrong doers by purging themselves of these wicked ones.
THE REALITY:
If a religion fails to clean house of evil and wicked men when they are discovered, and especially of evil and wicked men/women taking the lead in a congregation, and/or congregations such as Pastors, Ministers, Sheiks, Imams, Bishops, Cardinals, Etc., then the religion is responsible for their wrong doing. Some religions such as Islam have never cleaned house of evil and wicked individuals when they are discovered and that religion has been violent since its beginning, and many of its members lust for violence in such acts as beheading of others, suscide bombers, makers of IEDs, etc. do to the teachings of their groups religious leaders. One notable example of an evil and wicked individual Islam well knows of who is a leader of a large group of members of Islam is Sheik Osama bin Ladin. Of course, Islam, is NOT the only religion that fails to take effective action against evil and wicked individuals and leaders of groups among them, another is the Catholic and Angalican churches that for many years just moved pedophiles to a new congregation when they were uncovered as the world's news media has so well identified. Groups seeking to keep themselves clean of evil and wicked individuals that sneak into their group take the appropriate action; to wit, they throw them out.
Now many religions seek to escape reality by claiming they have no provisions within their religion for purging out these wicked ones, but this is no excuse since it is their failure to provide measures for purging out these wicked ones and no one else’s.
Now let’s look at one such religion that tries to escape their responsibility for cleaning house so to speak.
ISLAM FAILS TO CLEAN HOUSE:
Now of course it is important to recognize that not all Muslims are terrorist and jihadists nor refuse to recognize the property rights of others, it is likewise equally important to recognize that all jihadists are members of Islam. Islam is totally responsible for their actions as they tacitly approve of their evil wrong doing and have never cleaned house of these wicked ones. To wit, by not doing so, they have taken on the responsibility for their wrongful actions upon themselves. Yes, of course they are not the only religion that has failed to clean house; thus taking on the guilt of these wrong doers. Any religion, no exception, which fails to clean house is nothing but an evil false religion. And as previously stated, ‘Now many religions seek to escape reality by claiming they have no provisions within their religion for purging out these wicked ones, but this is no excuse since it is their failure to provide measures for purging out these wicked ones and no one else’s.’
CONCLUSION:
Many are just fooling themself, it is not what either the Bible or the Bible knockoff the Qur'an actually say, but how religious leaders be they priest and/or imams or muftis or what ever teach the people is the interpretation of what is written either in the Bible or the bible knockoff the Qur'an that matters and governs actions. It matters not what the Bible and/or the Bible knockoff really say. People go by what they are taught by their religious leaders. Take the genocide committed by the Roman Catholic Church at the direction of their supreme religious leader, the pope (Pope Innocent III (1160 or 1161 – 16 July 1216)), what mattered was not that the Bible clearly said at Exodus 20:13, "Thou shalt not kill." (Authorized King James Bible; AV), but what their religious leaders told them. Therefore, it is the religion which is at fault, irregardless of what their particular holy book, be it the Bible or the Bible knockoff the Qur'an may say. Neither in so called Christianity or in Islam are most individuals actions really governed in any way by what their particular holy book really says, but they are governed by the interpretation of their religious leaders. Thus, knowing this reality, one would be either just plain stupid and/or dumb to even bother looking at a particular religion's holy book and expect the members would conform to it. Take the Rig Vede and find me for example a Hindu actually conforming to it instead of the interpretation given to it by his religious leaders, like looking for a needle in the haystack per K.S. Lal, India's greatest historian.
Likewise the failure to clean house of evil ones puts their wrongs directly upon the organization failing to throw out evil/wicked ones when they are found out.

REALITY:
Guilt Comes On Organizations That Fail To Clean House Of The Wicked Ones:
INTRODUCTION:
First, The world we live in is ruled by the wicked one as testified to by 1 John 5:19, “And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness.” (Authorized King James Bible; AV). If we pick up a newspaper in any country, we find reports of cruelty and violence on an unprecedented scale. Man’s inhumanity to man is troubling for a righteous person to contemplate as testified to at Ecclesiastes 8:9, “All this have I seen, and applied my heart unto every work that is done under the sun: there is a time wherein one man ruleth over another to his own hurt.” (AV).
Second, Most individuals and/or groups seek to avoid responsibility for their own actions rather than take corrective actions. This also applies to so called religious groups that seek to absolve themselves of responsibility for the wrong actions of members, but fail, willingly, to take action against these wrong doers by purging themselves of these wicked ones.
THE REALITY:
If a religion fails to clean house of evil and wicked men when they are discovered, and especially of evil and wicked men/women taking the lead in a congregation, and/or congregations such as Pastors, Ministers, Sheiks, Imams, Bishops, Cardinals, Etc., then the religion is responsible for their wrong doing. Some religions such as Islam have never cleaned house of evil and wicked individuals when they are discovered and that religion has been violent since its beginning, and many of its members lust for violence in such acts as beheading of others, suscide bombers, makers of IEDs, etc. do to the teachings of their groups religious leaders. One notable example of an evil and wicked individual Islam well knows of who is a leader of a large group of members of Islam is Sheik Osama bin Ladin. Of course, Islam, is NOT the only religion that fails to take effective action against evil and wicked individuals and leaders of groups among them, another is the Catholic and Angalican churches that for many years just moved pedophiles to a new congregation when they were uncovered as the world's news media has so well identified. Groups seeking to keep themselves clean of evil and wicked individuals that sneak into their group take the appropriate action; to wit, they throw them out.
Now many religions seek to escape reality by claiming they have no provisions within their religion for purging out these wicked ones, but this is no excuse since it is their failure to provide measures for purging out these wicked ones and no one else’s.
Now let’s look at one such religion that tries to escape their responsibility for cleaning house so to speak.

Now of course it is important to recognize that not all Muslims are terrorist and jihadists nor refuse to recognize the property rights of others, it is likewise equally important to recognize that all jihadists are members of Islam. Islam is totally responsible for their actions as they tacitly approve of their evil wrong doing and have never cleaned house of these wicked ones. To wit, by not doing so, they have taken on the responsibility for their wrongful actions upon themselves. Yes, of course they are not the only religion that has failed to clean house; thus taking on the guilt of these wrong doers. Any religion, no exception, which fails to clean house is nothing but an evil false religion. Many are just fooling themself, it is not what either the Bible or the Bible knockoff the Qur'an actually say, but how religious leaders be they priest and/or imams or muftis or what ever teach the people is the interpretation of what is written either in the Bible or the bible knockoff the Qur'an that matters and governs actions. It matters not what the Bible and/or the Bible knockoff really say. People go by what they are taught by their religious leaders. Nujood Ali was ten years old when a pedophile married her with no objections from local Muslim clergy. This was in keeping with what the false prophet Muhammad did in the 7 th. Century; to wit, , Aisha, a very young girl, was six or seven years old when she was betrothed to Muhammad and nine when the marriage was consummated. Therefore, today Islam tacitly approves of pedophile marriages to children, i.e., child brides. Of course, not all members of Islam practice or approve of this wicked custom. For example, my husband has a very good Muslim friend from college days that definitely does not and would NEVER have done such a thing with his daughter. However, the religion tacitly approves of child brides, i.e., pedophiles taking young children as brides.
Let’s look at my bare bones of the Reader’s Digest article in the January 2013 issue entitled, “I Am Nujood, Age Ten and Divorced,” found on Pages 136 to 147 of that issue. Here is my short abstract in bullet form.
1 – Nujood Ali was only ten when married by a Muslim pedophile.
2 – She was ten when her request for divorce was granted at the age of 10.
3 – Her father had stated, “If you divorce him, my brothers and cousins will kill me!” Clearly showing that the Muslim community approved of child marriages.
4 – Judge Abdo was surprised when a ten year old came to him at court wanting a divorce.
5 – Her lawyer was Shada Nasser.
6 – She wanted an education, not marriage.
7 – She NEVER gave her consent to be married, it was forced on her.

On the advice of her father's second wife, she went directly to court to seek a divorce. After waiting for half a day, she was noticed by a judge, Mohammed al-g?adha, who took it upon himself to give her temporary refuge, and who had both her father and husband taken into custody.[6]
Shada Nasser agreed to defend Ali. For the lawyer, it was the continuation of a struggle begun with the installation of her practice in Sana'a, which she opened in the 1990s as the first Yemeni law office headed by a woman. She built her clientele by offering services to female prisoners.[5]
Yemeni law allows girls of any age to wed, but it forbids sex with them until an indefinite time when they are considered "suitable for sexual intercourse." In court, Nasser argued that Ali’s marriage violated the law, since she was raped.[3] Ali rejected the judge's proposal of resuming living with her husband after a break of three to five years.[3] On April 15, 2008,[7] the court granted her a divorce.[3]
After the trial, Ali rejoined her family in a suburb of Sana'a. She returned to school in the fall of 2008 with plans to become a lawyer.[8] Ali's memoirs were published in 2009, and royalties from international sales of the book were intended to pay for her schooling; but she did not attend school regularly.[9] Because of negative world press coverage about Yemen resulting from the case, Ali's passport was confiscated in March 2009 and she was prevented from attending the ceremonies for the Women's World Award in Vienna, Austria. Media reports also questioned whether proceeds from the book were in fact coming to the family.[10]
However, as of 2010, Ali's family was living in a new two-story residence bought with the help of her French publisher and running a grocery store on the ground floor of the building. Ali and her younger sister were attending private school full-time.[9]
The English-language version of the memoir was published in March, 2010. Introducing the work, New York Times op-ed columnist Nicholas Kristof praised the work done to raise awareness regarding such societal problems as terrorism, associated with polygamy and child marriage, saying, "little girls like Nujood may prove more effective than missiles at defeating terrorists."[11] Indeed, publicity surrounding Ali's case is said to have inspired efforts to annul other child marriages, including that of an eight-year-old Saudi girl who was allowed to divorce a middle-aged man in 2009, after her father had forced her to marry him the year before in exchange for about $13,000.[11][12][13][14]

REALITY:
Guilt Comes On Organizations That Fail To Clean House Of The Wicked Ones:
INTRODUCTION:
First, The world we live in is ruled by the wicked one as testified to by 1 John 5:19, “And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness.” (Authorized King James Bible; AV). If we pick up a newspaper in any country, we find reports of cruelty and violence on an unprecedented scale. Man’s inhumanity to man is troubling for a righteous person to contemplate as testified to at Ecclesiastes 8:9, “All this have I seen, and applied my heart unto every work that is done under the sun: there is a time wherein one man ruleth over another to his own hurt.” (AV).
Second, Most individuals and/or groups seek to avoid responsibility for their own actions rather than take corrective actions. This also applies to so called religious groups that seek to absolve themselves of responsibility for the wrong actions of members, but fail, willingly, to take action against these wrong doers by purging themselves of these wicked ones.
THE REALITY:
If a religion fails to clean house of evil and wicked men when they are discovered, and especially of evil and wicked men/women taking the lead in a congregation, and/or congregations such as Pastors, Ministers, Sheiks, Imams, Bishops, Cardinals, Etc., then the religion is responsible for their wrong doing. Some religions such as Islam have never cleaned house of evil and wicked individuals when they are discovered and that religion has been violent since its beginning, and many of its members lust for violence in such acts as beheading of others, suscide bombers, makers of IEDs, etc. do to the teachings of their groups religious leaders. One notable example of an evil and wicked individual Islam well knows of who is a leader of a large group of members of Islam is Sheik Osama bin Ladin. Of course, Islam, is NOT the only religion that fails to take effective action against evil and wicked individuals and leaders of groups among them, another is the Catholic and Angalican churches that for many years just moved pedophiles to a new congregation when they were uncovered as the world's news media has so well identified. Groups seeking to keep themselves clean of evil and wicked individuals that sneak into their group take the appropriate action; to wit, they throw them out.
Now many religions seek to escape reality by claiming they have no provisions within their religion for purging out these wicked ones, but this is no excuse since it is their failure to provide measures for purging out these wicked ones and no one else’s.
Now let’s look at one such religion that tries to escape their responsibility for cleaning house so to speak.
ISLAM FAILS TO CLEAN HOUSE:
Now of course it is important to recognize that not all Muslims are terrorist and jihadists nor refuse to recognize the property rights of others, it is likewise equally important to recognize that all jihadists are members of Islam. Islam is totally responsible for their actions as they tacitly approve of their evil wrong doing and have never cleaned house of these wicked ones. To wit, by not doing so, they have taken on the responsibility for their wrongful actions upon themselves. Yes, of course they are not the only religion that has failed to clean house; thus taking on the guilt of these wrong doers. Any religion, no exception, which fails to clean house is nothing but an evil false religion. And as previously stated, ‘Now many religions seek to escape reality by claiming they have no provisions within their religion for purging out these wicked ones, but this is no excuse since it is their failure to provide measures for purging out these wicked ones and no one else’s.’
CONCLUSION:
Many are just fooling themself, it is not what either the Bible or the Bible knockoff the Qur'an actually say, but how religious leaders be they priest and/or imams or muftis or what ever teach the people is the interpretation of what is written either in the Bible or the bible knockoff the Qur'an that matters and governs actions. It matters not what the Bible and/or the Bible knockoff really say. People go by what they are taught by their religious leaders. Take the genocide committed by the Roman Catholic Church at the direction of their supreme religious leader, the pope (Pope Innocent III (1160 or 1161 – 16 July 1216)), what mattered was not that the Bible clearly said at Exodus 20:13, "Thou shalt not kill." (Authorized King James Bible; AV), but what their religious leaders told them. Therefore, it is the religion which is at fault, irregardless of what their particular holy book, be it the Bible or the Bible knockoff the Qur'an may say. Neither in so called Christianity or in Islam are most individuals actions really governed in any way by what their particular holy book really says, but they are governed by the interpretation of their religious leaders. Thus, knowing this reality, one would be either just plain stupid and/or dumb to even bother looking at a particular religion's holy book and expect the members would conform to it. Take the Rig Vede and find me for example a Hindu actually conforming to it instead of the interpretation given to it by his religious leaders, like looking for a needle in the haystack per K.S. Lal, India's greatest historian.
Likewise the failure to clean house of evil ones puts their wrongs directly upon the organization failing to throw out evil/wicked ones when they are found out.”

When I was still a teenager, I was the mistress of the sultan’s
brother, the prince of Brunei. My usual stance is that they weren’t
bad guys, really. Just human and impossibly rich. I have often
wondered what I would have done in their place, given all the power
and money in the world. I’ve never come up with a satisfactory answer.
Now the sultan is making headlines for implementing Sharia law in
Brunei, including a new penal code that includes stoning to death for
adultery, cutting off limbs for theft, and flogging for violations
such as abortion, alcohol consumption, and homosexuality. There’s also
capital punishment for rape and sodomy.
I am no expert in international human rights. My only qualification in
commenting on this issue is that one drunken evening in the early
’90s, the sultan and I committed at least two of the aforementioned
offenses as we looked down on the lights of Kuala Lumpur from a
penthouse suite.
I had barely turned 18 when I found myself at a “casting call” at the
Ritz-Carlton in New York for what I was told would be a position at a
nightclub in Singapore. When I got the job, I learned that the job
wasn’t in Singapore at all. Instead, it was an invitation to be the
personal guest of the notorious playboyPrince Jefri Bolkiah, the
youngest brother of the sultan of Brunei. At the time, the sultan was
the wealthiest man in the world. I was a wild child consumed with
wanderlust. I was hardly an innocent, but I was—when I accepted the
invitation—very, very young.
When I arrived in Brunei, I found out that the prince threw lavish
parties every night, in a palace with Picassos in the bathrooms and
carpets woven through with real gold. At these parties there was
drinking (which was not legal in public), dancing, some fairly
hilarious karaoke, and, most important, women—about 30 or 40 beauties
from all over the world, comprising a harem of sorts.
The prince was rakish and clever and yes, even charming at times. I
spent the next year and some change as his girlfriend. For a time, it
was an adventure both glamorous and exciting. It was also lonely and
demoralizing, and full of constant low-grade humiliations, including
being given to the prince’s brother as a gift (see: the Kuala Lumpur
hotel suite). Although I was by no means a prisoner, I wasn’t free to
come and go as I pleased. By the end of my time there, I felt 10 years
older and still not wise enough. It took me a long time to regain my
footing, though I did find my way eventually. My struggles were
internal and they were my own. In this context, they were a privilege.
Stoning is practiced or authorized by law in 15 countries now. It is
disproportionally applied as a punishment for women, often as a
penalty for adultery. Human rights groups, including Amnesty
International and Human Rights Watch, consider it cruel and unusual
punishment and torture. According to the international rights
organization Women Living Under Muslim Law, stoning “is one of the
most brutal forms of violence perpetrated against women in order to
control and punish their sexuality and basic freedoms.”
And yet it is the privilege of the prince and the sultan to misbehave.
The picaresque escapades and legendary extravagances of the brothers
are indulged with a collective wink. For everyone else residing within
Brunei’s borders, Muslim and non-Muslim alike, freedoms are curtailed,
and those limitations now are potentially enforced by brutal violence.
Cast stones at me if you will for my past improprieties—plenty have.
Of course, those stones will be metaphorical. As the citizen of a free
society, it is my right to transgress, as long as I don’t break any
laws or impinge on the freedom of others. It’s my prerogative to sleep
with all the princes I damn well feel like. I live with my choices.
As the citizens of Brunei face the erosion of their rights, I imagine
the man I once knew, holed up in a posh hotel suite somewhere, maybe
with another American teenager in his lap, making laws that legislate

ISLAM PERMITS VIOLATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS OF FEMALES AND TAKES NO ACTION – THE PROOF:
GRILAGAN, Pakistan—Eight months ago, 11-year-old Amna was married off to a man three times her age to settle a crime her uncle had committed.
The uncle had raped another girl in the village, according to tribal elders. Following tribal custom prevalent in highly conservative parts of Pakistan, the elders gave Amna and her 17-year-old cousin, Zulhaj, to that girl's family. Nobody asked their opinion.
Such "compensation marriages" are technically illegal under Pakistani law. But in a country with fraying central authority, the formal judicial system with its slow, corrupt course is often abandoned in favor of traditional tribal justice.
With little faith in the courts, the practice of "swara"—giving away women as punishment for their families—remains an option for settling village disputes in tribal areas dominated by the Pashtun ethnic group in Pakistan's northwest. It also remains prevalent in the tribal-dominated parts of Baluchistan and Punjab provinces. "People have no trust in the law and the legal system prevailing
here," said Muhammad Gul, a member of the village elders council, or jirga, in the village of Grilagan, which decided the fate of Amna and
Zulhaj.
"The jirga resolves the dispute in a day. It is the…easiest way." In Pakistani courts, criminal cases can take up to five years to resolve while civil cases take up to a decade. The Grilagan girls, from a remote corner of northwest Pakistan, were both married to the brother of the raped girl, who is in his mid-30s. Within Pashtun tribal culture and under Islamic law, men can marry
multiple wives. The younger girl, Amna, has been allowed to stay at her father's house until she reaches puberty, a rare concession to her young age. Even very young girls are usually forced to move into a new husband's home, where they are likely to be treated as domestic slaves and possibly sexually abused.
It isn't clear why the jirga in this case allowed Amna to remain at home. But local activist Zubair Torwali suggested it may have been because the authorities wouldn't have been able to turn a blind eye to a case involving such a young girl.
Zulhaj is already living in her new husband's home.
Speaking to The Wall Street Journal last month in front of the jirga in Grilagan, she said she wasn't being mistreated. But she appeared frightened to speak in front of a room full of the all-male tribal elders.
She said that she was 17, contradicting earlier claims by jirga members that she was 19. Amna was kept hidden. The Pashto word swara literally describes a woman riding on the back of an animal. It is a reference to the way girls were traditionally handed over in such deals, riding on horseback or donkeys.
The practice was outlawed in November 2011 and authorities don't keep detailed data on compensation marriages, making it difficult to get an exact picture of how common it is. The police will investigate only if a community member alerts them. Even then, they often register the case as a kidnapping, not a compensation marriage.
Responsibility for clamping down on the practice falls to provincial authorities. Barrister Zafarullah Khan, a top official in the country's Ministry of Law, Justice and Human Rights, acknowledges that progress has been slow.
"The law has been changed and it is up to the provinces to stop this inhumane practice.
These are mostly tribal societies and [swara] is embedded in the culture and the social beliefs," he said. If people don't report cases to the authorities, they can't intervene, he explained.
"It is a question of evidence. Sometimes you can't find evidence. If no one is willing to come forward, you can't force them."
Samar Minallah Khan, a women's rights activist who has been campaigning against the practice for more than a decade, said she is aware of more than a hundred cases in 2013 alone, and believes that is
just the tip of the iceberg. The Grilagan village jirga said they had settled seven disputes
through swara in the past nine months. "The girls are usually immature," said one of the jirga members. Ms. Khan said villagers often hand over their daughters because they are poor and don't have much else to offer. "Economic reasons have a lot to do with it," she said. "The family says we can't give land or money as compensation, so it is
convenient to give a girl."
In the tribal cultures of Pakistan, which span a range of linguistic groups across the country, the idea of giving a girl in compensation is closely caught up with a deeply entrenched code of honor. The cultural code dictates that the wronged party has to seek revenge to restore their honor.
In the past, the practice of swara was more symbolic. The girl was handed over as a symbol of peace between the two families and was generally treated with more respect. Today, it has become more about revenge, said Ms. Khan, and the girls are treated as slaves and often sexually abused.
"There is no point treating the girl well because the community expects you to mistreat her," she said. "Unless you rape her and abuse her, you aren't a real Pashtun or Punjabi tribal, they say."
Islam doesn't condone the practice. Under Islamic law, punishment is meant to target the perpetrator, not a related woman or child. The victim's family can seek blood money in compensation.
When Ms. Khan intervenes in swara cases, she said she uses Islam to encourage people to accept a different way of settling disputes. However, some local Pakistani human-rights activists said swara is the lesser evil as it prevents bloody tribal conflicts sparked by the need to avenge an offense.

Khan Saeed, a lawyer from Swat, said communities still use swara to settle disputes because it is viewed as part of their culture, while the formal court system represents a set of alien rules that are hard to understand. "They prefer to take swara," he said, "It is their perception of the
norms, and how they ensure that honor is restored."
Mr. Saeed has intervened in a number of swara cases. He offers his legal services on a pro bono basis to families fighting against swara rulings. In the past five years, he has saved 15 girls from swara, he said, persuading the wronged party to instead accept money as compensation.
A few months ago, Mr. Saeed intervened in a case involving his own cousin who had married a man of her own choice against her family's wishes. Mr. Saeed's uncle demanded a girl from the man's family as compensation, alleging that the man had kidnapped his daughter to marry her. Mr. Saeed said he persuaded the family to accept 100,000 rupees ($1,022) instead. "It is very difficult to go against the tradition," Mr. Saeed said.
Nadeem Khan Torwali, 23, knows that all too well.
Last October, Mr. Torwali heard that his maternal uncle had approached the village jirga to demand one of his two youngest sisters, ages 11 and 7, in swara for a crime committed 29 years ago. The crime: Mr. Torwali's parents had married in a love match, rather than arranged marriage. His mother had been ostracized from her family as a result.
"Our jirga has only one way to look at it, and it is swara," said Mr. Torwali. He fought against the jirga's ruling and in early March, his uncle agreed to accept 300,000 rupees instead. [source - retrieved

Girls, though innocent of wrong doing, are NOT given human rights and Islam tolerates this – enough said.
One female member of Islam clearly showed that she can not bear to hear the truth as follows:
“Im sick of your long baseless stories. [[How are they baseless, when they are the truth?]] Don't stereotype Muslims and don't interpret Islam based on how the majority of Muslims today are living. If you want to know the truth, read the Quran with an open mind. Till then, don't utter another word against Islam.”
But I asked her about Sura 9:29 – 30, which reads as:
Sura 9:29 (Surat At-Tawbah) Fight those who do not believe in Allah or in the Last Day and who do not consider unlawful what Allah and His Messenger have made unlawful and who do not adopt the religion of truth from those who were given the Scripture - [fight] until they give the jizyah willingly while they are humbled. GRILAGAN, Pakistan—Eight months ago, 11-year-old Amna was married off to a man three times her age to settle a crime her uncle had committed.
The uncle had raped another girl in the village, according to tribal elders. Following tribal custom prevalent in highly conservative parts of Pakistan, the elders gave Amna and her 17-year-old cousin, Zulhaj, to that girl's family. Nobody asked their opinion.
Such "compensation marriages" are technically illegal under Pakistani law. But in a country with fraying central authority, the formal judicial system with its slow, corrupt course is often abandoned in favor of traditional tribal justice.
With little faith in the courts, the practice of "swara"—giving away women as punishment for their families—remains an option for settling village disputes in tribal areas dominated by the Pashtun ethnic group in Pakistan's northwest. It also remains prevalent in the tribal-dominated parts of Baluchistan and Punjab provinces. "People have no trust in the law and the legal system prevailing
here," said Muhammad Gul, a member of the village elders council, or jirga, in the village of Grilagan, which decided the fate of Amna and
Zulhaj.
"The jirga resolves the dispute in a day. It is the…easiest way." In Pakistani courts, criminal cases can take up to five years to resolve while civil cases take up to a decade. The Grilagan girls, from a remote corner of northwest Pakistan, were both married to the brother of the raped girl, who is in his mid-30s. Within Pashtun tribal culture and under Islamic law, men can marry
multiple wives. The younger girl, Amna, has been allowed to stay at her father's house until she reaches puberty, a rare concession to her young age. Even very young girls are usually forced to move into a new husband's home, where they are likely to be treated as domestic slaves and possibly sexually abused.
It isn't clear why the jirga in this case allowed Amna to remain at home. But local activist Zubair Torwali suggested it may have been because the authorities wouldn't have been able to turn a blind eye to a case involving such a young girl.
Zulhaj is already living in her new husband's home.
Speaking to The Wall Street Journal last month in front of the jirga in Grilagan, she said she wasn't being mistreated. But she appeared frightened to speak in front of a room full of the all-male tribal elders.
She said that she was 17, contradicting earlier claims by jirga members that she was 19. Amna was kept hidden. The Pashto word swara literally describes a woman riding on the back of an animal. It is a reference to the way girls were traditionally handed over in such deals, riding on horseback or donkeys.
The practice was outlawed in November 2011 and authorities don't keep detailed data on compensation marriages, making it difficult to get an exact picture of how common it is. The police will investigate only if a community member alerts them. Even then, they often register the case as a kidnapping, not a compensation marriage.
Responsibility for clamping down on the practice falls to provincial authorities. Barrister Zafarullah Khan, a top official in the country's Ministry of Law, Justice and Human Rights, acknowledges that progress has been slow.
"The law has been changed and it is up to the provinces to stop this inhumane practice.
These are mostly tribal societies and [swara] is embedded in the culture and the social beliefs," he said. If people don't report cases to the authorities, they can't intervene, he explained.
"It is a question of evidence. Sometimes you can't find evidence. If no one is willing to come forward, you can't force them."
Samar Minallah Khan, a women's rights activist who has been campaigning against the practice for more than a decade, said she is aware of more than a hundred cases in 2013 alone, and believes that is
just the tip of the iceberg. The Grilagan village jirga said they had settled seven disputes
through swara in the past nine months. "The girls are usually immature," said one of the jirga members. Ms. Khan said villagers often hand over their daughters because they are poor and don't have much else to offer. "Economic reasons have a lot to do with it," she said. "The family says we can't give land or money as compensation, so it is
convenient to give a girl."
In the tribal cultures of Pakistan, which span a range of linguistic groups across the country, the idea of giving a girl in compensation is closely caught up with a deeply entrenched code of honor. The cultural code dictates that the wronged party has to seek revenge to restore their honor.
In the past, the practice of swara was more symbolic. The girl was handed over as a symbol of peace between the two families and was generally treated with more respect. Today, it has become more about revenge, said Ms. Khan, and the girls are treated as slaves and often sexually abused.
"There is no point treating the girl well because the community expects you to mistreat her," she said. "Unless you rape her and abuse her, you aren't a real Pashtun or Punjabi tribal, they say."
Islam doesn't condone the practice. Under Islamic law, punishment is meant to target the perpetrator, not a related woman or child. The victim's family can seek blood money in compensation.
When Ms. Khan intervenes in swara cases, she said she uses Islam to encourage people to accept a different way of settling disputes. However, some local Pakistani human-rights activists said swara is the lesser evil as it prevents bloody tribal conflicts sparked by the need to avenge an offense.

Islamabad - Sharia Correspondent: The Council of Islamic Ideology (CII) concluded their 192nd meeting on Thursday with the ruling that women are un-Islamic and that their mere existence contradicted Sharia and the will of Allah. As the meeting concluded CII Chairman Maulana Muhammad Khan Shirani noted that women by existing defied the laws of nature, and to protect Islam and the Sharia women should be forced to stop existing as soon as possible. The announcement comes a couple of days after CII’s 191st meeting where they dubbed laws related to minimum marriage age to be un-Islamic.
After declaring women to be un-Islamic, Shirani explained that there were actually two kinds of women – haraam and makrooh. “We can divide all women in the world into two distinct categories: those who are haraam and those who are makrooh. Now the difference between haraam and makrooh is that the former is categorically forbidden while the latter is really really disliked,” Shirani said.
He further went on to explain how the women around the world can ensure that they get promoted to being makrooh, from just being downright haraam. “Any woman that exercises her will is haraam, absolutely haraam, and is conspiring against Islam and the Ummah,whereas those women who are totally subservient can reach the status of being makrooh. Such is the generosity of our ideology and such is the endeavour of Muslim men like us who are the true torchbearers of gender equality,” the CII chairman added.
Officials told Khabaristan Today that the council members deliberated over various historic references related to women and concluded that each woman is a source of fitna and a perpetual enemy of Islam. They also decided that by restricting them to their subordinate, bordering on slave status, the momineen and the mujahideen can ensure that Islam continues to be the religion of peace, prosperity and gender equality.
Responding to a question one of the officials said that international standards of gender equality should not be used if they contradict Islam or the constitution of Pakistan that had incorporated Islam and had given sovereignty to Allah. “We don’t believe in western ideals, and nothing that contradicts Islam should ever be paid heed. In any case by giving women the higher status of being makrooh, it’s us Muslims who have paved the way for true, Sharia compliant feminism,” the official said.
The CII meeting also advised the government that to protect Islam women’s right to breathe should also be taken away from them. “Whether a woman is allowed to breathe or not be left up to her husband or male guardian, and no woman under any circumstance whatsoever should be allowed to decide whether she can breathe or not,” Shirani said.
